@JK: Alright then, I'll wait until then! Aww, poor Nek being disgusting. XD I play on Karma's cousin's Xbox, usually. Haha, The Sims 3 on my laptop went fast enough, but had some retarded graphics problems, like torsos falling off their legs. XD Yes, I suck at aiming with control sticks, but the Wii makes it so much easier! Because Vista itself already takes up a Gig of RAM.
@Karma: Coach is a badass. XD Awesome. XD You should make Francis' tattoos a bunch of rainbows and unicorns. I drew Coach as a Powerpuff Girl today, but he looked ugly. D: Ellis looked cute though, and Louis and Zoey didn't look bad.

Yea I think I did notice slight graphics issues, not enough to really bother me (though I didn't play much), but to go huh. Hopefully laptops will just improve on the technological scale soon enough. I feel they'll need to anyhow.
So you are saying you need an extra gig of Ram to accommodate for Vista? Like, ugh math hurts. Ok so we'll pretend a non-vista computer has 1 gig of Ram. And a Vista computer has 2 gigs. So you could play L4D on both? Or The second would need 3 gigs, in which case that seems like more extra still. Again my math analogy might not be relevant to the situation, idk. nvm xd

Yes, I hope laptops improve! Your first analogy was correct. XD Except you also gotta consider the graphics card in that situation, plus if you only have one Gig, you better not be running anything besides Left 4 Dead.

Haha, yea I gathered that, I was just trying to make it a simple argument. Honestly, I don't really know standard ram. My dead desktop had 256MB (saith the sticker on it's front), but I have no idea how much my laptop has, or how much a standard laptop has even. All I know about the graphics is that mine are by nvidia (again by word of the stickers). Yes the n is italicized all by it's lonesome razz
Oye and I'm so tired. Worked 7:30 - 3:30 at a school and then coached 5:45 - 7:30. Next week my 3rd job will kick in 3 nights a week (would be 5 if I wasn't putting my foot down and refusing to work M/R - mainly b/c of TV, but seriously, I need at least some breaks if I end up working at the district often). T I will be teaching water aerobics (assuming that in between traveling to Davis for Picnic Day this weekend I can get some sort of instruction, I've never taught it myself before. Learning last weekend got canceled b/c of weather) and W/F I will head lap swim. These activities are for the Swim Club not the team, meaning I get paid less, haha. I don't mind though I am worried about water aerobics. I've never even done a water aerobics course, so this is not my comfort zone. At least with lap swim I both have been a competitive swimmer for a majority of my life, still swim for recreational purposes, and coach a swim team. So obviously that is well in my comfort zone.
However I went to a tequila bar and then bowling tonight, was fun and saw some friends I haven't in awhile. But now it's midnight. I've worked the last two days, with my luck I'll work for the district tomorrow (and then yes coach). I like work, and I love to get paid, but I'm sleepy, and seem to only get called on nights when I get no rest!
Now I am SO rambling, downside to sleepy posting, it's actually much longer and not exactly coherent/purposeful. Let's see how many threads I get through before I HAVE to pass out.

Oh wow, 256 is like *nothing* these days! XD;; Most laptops come with 2Gigs right now, but some have less, and many have more. Wow, that's a lot of work. o.o

Yea, well I did say it was 6 years old and a crappy emachine, and dead. But yea, my Sims ran at the speed of slow, so I'm hoping they'll run better on the laptop, I might install them tonight if I'm bored, we'll see.
It is, I like it, but yea it's kind of crazy.

Dude yes! Have you taken it/taught it before? I'd definitely love some advice/help on putting a class together. I'm not going to count on either Natalie or the board to think of something for me in time.

@JK: As long as it's The Sims 1 it should run well on your laptop. :3

Haha, nice, but it's not going to be Sims 1. And hey, if I could deal with my desktop it's obviously going to be fine on my laptop, because I just told you about the inferior desktop that I used to play on. I'm just going to install the original, not all the expansions and see how it goes.

The Sims 2 then? That should do well enough. Won't be as bad as The Sims 3 would be. XD I don't think it would be slow, but it would probably have graphics problems.

Like I said, I don't have Sims 3 and won't be getting it anytime soon. So that's no issue. I'm pretty sure Sims 2 will be fine, I'm just wondering what will happen if I start installing multiple expansions.

Well, maybe just start with taking it slow. I don't really know how expansions work, so sorry I can't give more advice than that. ^^;;
