Tina and Mike were practising a new dance that Tina had asked Mike to perform with her. As Mike moved her along and sidestepped, she pretended to fall and and wrapped her arms around his neck. Their faces were so very close and Tina looked Mike in the eye. She couldn't take it anymore. She kissed him. The moment Mike felt her lips on his, he pushed away. "Tina, what the hell? We're not together anymore," Mike scowled, wiping is mouth, "I never felt anyway with you. You know I agreed to date you just cause it was like a fling?"
"Um...why not, we do what Elton John and Lady Gaga did at the awards? You know? The Speechless duet piano piece that they did?" Lynn suggested, but then remembered, "Oh, we did Speechless already. We could do an Elton John duet? We can both play the piano and mimic Lady Gago and Elton John's performance for speechless."

Amber was very close to entering the Choir room, but instead ducked and dashed back to her locker. Her folder could wait for her till tomorrow. She let out a heavily strained breath before pursing her lips. Oh god, oh god, oh god. Closing her eyes briefly trying to rid excess thoughts, Amber quickly hurried emptying her school books from her locker before hurrying home to avoid the coincidence of him going to his locker.
Jay blinked not quite understanding what she meant for a moment, but finally caught on. "Oh! You mean the mash-up of 'Speechless' and 'Your Song'?" Jay responded. But, since they already did Speechless before, a completely new song would be a better choice. "How about 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'?" He suggested instead seeing as the song was originally sung as a duet anyways.

"Look. I know you just like me because of my abs. Arty really loves you. Why don't you appreciate him some more?" Mike shook his head disapprovingly. He collected his things and saw Amber. Did she hear? He walked quickly and caught her hand. "Amber. Hey! I thought you went home. I'm done. Want to go home together?" he smiled at her.
"Mmm, okay. Sounds good. Although I don't know that one," Lynn agreed as they stepped outside, "Do you want to go over to my place?"

"Oh-... Um-... Hi," Amber stammered childishly. She tried to smile, but it faltered awkwardly. "Er... We can, but our houses are in opposite directions," she pointed out not looking directly at him at all.
"As in your place, you mean that other house?" Jay questioned still smiling. It was strange, even now he wondered this, why did he like Lynn so much? He couldn't seem to find an answer no matter how hard he thought about it. Perhaps it was one of those things that just happen. He sort of settled on that idea previously before, but still he just wanted to clarify himself. It was strange, out of his norm, but perhaps it was just him returning to the real him.

"That's okay. I can bus home," Mike smiled, but then frowned when Amber would not look at him. Mike grasped her shoulders, forcing her to look at me. "You saw didn't you? How much did you see? You know she means nothing to me? You're everything to me."
"Yeah, exactly," Lynn answered, getting into her red cooper, "Are you hungry? We can grab a bite first?"

Amber flinched, his grip was much too tight. "I can go by myself, I don't want to trouble you," Amber shook her head. Right now her mind refused to have that scene play, so rather she was trying to delete it for now. Obviously it wouldn't turn out like that. "I really have to go, I'm going to miss my bus," she said lastly before she turned, running to catch her bus which was was almost at its stop.
"Yeah, sure. What place do you have in mind?" He asked.

Mike thought it would be smart not to pursue after Amber. He was right. Amber had seen Tina kiss him. Although it was brief, and barely a touch, it was a kiss. He swallowed and readjusted his bag before setting off in the opposite direction.
"Um, I know a nice restaurant," Lynn thought aloud, driving out of the parking lot, "You don't mind Mediterranean do you?"

Amber tiredly entered school. Once again a sleepless night. She had a difficult time trying to focus, it was quite troublesome. She still couldn't believe it and was now thoroughly annoyed. Perhaps this whole time she was just being played around with. Some stupid prank. God. Amber turned the lock dial and opened her locker dropping her coat and lunch off.
"Yeah, that's cool," Jay nodded. The images and taste of Mediterranean food entered his mind and his stomach growled quietly. "It actually sounds really good right now," he chuckled.

As Amber closed her locker door, Mike leaned against his, facing her. He was unsure whether or not to act normal, but he wanted to tell her straight. "There's nothing between me and Tina," he said immediately, "You know there isn't. The girl I like is you."
Lynn parked and they went inside the restaurant. She sat down and ordered her usual. "Do you usually eat out for lunch? I forgot to ask if you brought your own," Lynn said, looking at him after giving the waiters the menu.

Amber's brow furrowed slightly. Seriously. Him in the morning already? "What are you getting at Mike?" She questioned as though she never saw anything.
"I usually do bring a lunch, well mom forces me to, but I usually eat it during class anyways," Jay answered randomly picking something to eat. Surprisingly, he didn't eat out too much, well, he did sometimes, but definitely not a lot for lunch. "Do you come here often?"

Mike breathed in to brace himself. "I know you saw yesterday. How Tina kissed me. I pushed her away right when the moment I realized what she was doing," Mike explained to her, looking straight at her.
"You can say that," Lynn replied. It seemed that everyone there knew her in some way. She unfolded her napkin and placed it neatly in her lap. She tucked her hair behind her ears and pushed her glasses up. "Let's just say my dad owns the place," she replied again, this time with details.

For once, Amber looked directly at Mike. Her expression was not soft and gentle as it usually was, it was the exact opposite. "You honestly expect me to believe that?!" She finally spoke, annoyance heavy in her voice. "For all I know, you could've been deceiving me the whole time!"
Jay raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" He spoke quite impressed. "That's pretty cool. My dad's just a business man."

"You think I'm no faithful?" Mike retorted, offended, "Look, I didn't even know what Tina was going to do until she did it. And if I did, I would of avoided it!" Mike then softened. "Look, Amber. I really love you, okay? I would never lie to you or do anything behind your back."
"Is he? What kind of business is he in?" Lynn asked after taking a sip from her cup.

A hurt expression switched places with her stern one. "You- You honestly think I can believe that?" She spoke quietly in disbelief. Her eyes were glossy reflecting the school lighting. She felt tears coming, but she didn't want to cry in front of Mike. Amber turned to head off in her own direction.
"He's an accountant," Jay answered simply. After a small time of chatting the food arrived. Jay inhaled taking in the smell. Mmmm, it really smelt tasty. He dug in and the flavours exploded. "Wow. This is really good," Jay blinked quite surprised himself.

"Amber-!" Mike called after Amber. He was close to running after her, but thought he should try again when Amber had calmed down. He sighed heavily. How could he explain to her? He tried his best. Little did Mike know, a boy was watching this. A boy named Ian. A boy who has a crush on Amber.
"Is it your first time?" Lynn asked, digging into her own food. Moments later, a handsome man with wavy chestnut hair came out. "Lynn! How -" Lynn's dad began but stopped upon seeing Jay. Dad held out his hand to him, "Hello. You must be Jay. Lynn has told me about you."
