PSY derserves credit for cracking the American market like he did. Its very rare for outside countrys to get number 1 in the usa. I mean a New Zealander hasnt topped the US charts since "Somebody I used to know by Goyte feat kimbra) and then not since 1997 (Im a kiwi).

I pay relative attention to the world music scene and the USA is a very internal driven market. So again he derves props. But hes just not my style.


I still love masa mixes, and that is still one of my faves.

Im not so big on his one on one stuff, but thats just me.

Whist there are more good girl bands, I still like the kpop boy bands as well.
