~~ "All right, we're dropping you down." said Slippy's voice over the speakers. The flooring underneath the four Landmasters slid back, letting them fall to Earth. However, they landed harmlessly.
"Which way to your workshop, Kaimei?" asked Fox. "Oh, and by the way, there should be an instruction manual next to you. While we have training, it'll have to do for now with you. Go to page fifty for English text." ~~

Kaimei blinked. He glanced down and noticed the manual. "Remember where you came out of the underground passage? The workshop's about half a miile north of that... safe to say you won't recognize it when you see it, considering what was built on top of it," he said blandly. He read the first several pages rapidly as he spoke, easily memorizing it due to his photographic memory. Impressive, he thought as he turned the large vehicle and blinked as he picked up four signatures he noted absently. "Looks like a welcoming commitee, to the east," he said dryly, tapping a button that fired a energy burst that apparently slammed into the two lizardmen on the right, sending them backward head over heels for several feet. Fifty percent of targets out of commision with a single shot... impressive strength, he thought. His eyes narrowed fractionally as he picked up several larger signatures he easily recognized as the scorpion-like S-D units headed their way along with half a dozen more lizardmen.

~~ "All right." Fox picked up the lizardmen and S-D units as well. "Falco, take those guys out."
"Already on it, Foxie." replied Falco, moving holographic panels. The tip of the large cannon ontop of his Landmaster glowed bright purple for a moment, which changed to green, and then red. He fired, blasting two of the units into oblivion with one shot. ~~

Kaimei tilted his head slightly, thoughtful. He aimed and fired a bomb off that landed with a thunk on one of the S-D units, the central one of the remaining three, surprisingly. He tapped a button that detonated the bomb, heavily damaging the outside two with the concussion wave and heat while completely destroying the other. "That deals with the S-D units... just eight lizardmen to put away now," he said dryly. His eyes narrowed as he had an idea, though he wasn't sure if whatever technology was within the blades would be compatible with the Landmaster tanks. If it is, it could make a very interesting set of possible blast attacks with the cannon and bombs, he thought.

~~ Suddenly, and very randomly, a energy ball fired at Falco's Landmaster from Krystal's. He pulled back before the blast hit, avoiding it. "Hey! Watch it, Krystal!" he said through the communicators in the Landmasters, sounding annoyed.
"Whoops. Sorry about that, Falco..." came Krystal's voice weakly. "After two years, I'm still not used to the Landmaster..."
"It's fine Krystal." Fox assured her, shooting a bomb at the lizardmen. It exploded on impact. ~~

Kaimei felt his whole body tense when he heard a roar of pain from the direction he'd noticed Krystal's blast going. He shifted, glancing out the viewport and paled, seeing another mutated creature identical to what Kai had been with dark green-black blood oozing from its massive chest. "You were saying, Falco? If her blast hadn't hit that thing... it would have probably leaped up onto your Landmaster and damaged it... sensors aren't picking it up for some reason," he warned, half joking. Lucy blanched upon seeing the mutated ape-human. "That has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen," she mumbled. She wasn't surprised to hear her father agree moments later. Kaimei heard Lucy's words. "There was another one... it had been one of my closer friends, until I had to put it down," he said quietly.

Kaimei sighed softly. "I can't control the actions of others or that of the situation, only how I react to it... and Oikonny's gonna regret ever showing his face on this planet," he said softly. Lucy tilted her head, amused at Kaimei's words even as she admired how strong he was mentally and emotionally. I don't care what it takes... Oikonny is going to either die... or I'm going to show that damned bakayou what it means to fear to sleep, he thought. Kaimei's jaw was tight and his gaze hard and furious, barely holding back a roar of rage.

~We've all got to start from somewhere, and it's right there for me, the possibilities are never ending....~ "We'll make sure he regrets ever not dying." mumbled Krystal, "Let's keep going..."
Fox nodded. He turned his Landmaster and moved it in the direction of Kaimei's lab. Falco followed. ~....I know in my heart that it's my turn, and I already see, the possibilities are never ending~

Kaimei smiled faintly as he caught Krystal's mumbled threat, though he wasn't sure if the others had caught it or not. You and me both, Krystal, he thought as he turned the Landmaster and followed just behind Fox, his attention half on the scanner to make certain the beastial ape mutant didn't follow them.

~Better fear me better run away, 'cause this battles just begun....~ "Wonder who else was mutated...?" mumbled Falco's voice from the radio. He seemed to be thinking aloud.
"Precisly...Unfortunately for Corniria, that wasn't the case..."
Slippy, onboard the Great Fox, looked at Lucy. "Why're all these planets named so similarly? Corneria, Corniria..." ~....Enchanted whisper in your evil ear, can you hear the words I won~

Kaimei sighed softly. "Sometimes, to find the heartwood, you have to burn the old, dead wood away, though if Oikonny has his way... it'd be like simply cutting the tree down and leaving it to rot," he said softly. He sighed softly, grimacing slightly as he noticed the clothing store, damaged, but still standing; he suspected Krystal might think it perverted that the workshop was hidden beneath a lingerie store, but it was the one thing nobody would have ever guessed something so advanced to be anywhere near.

~~ Krystal, Falco, and Fox all exited their Landmasters upon reaching their destination.
"What in the hells?" Krystal stared at the sign of the store.
"Women are supposed to wear that?" asked Fox, blinking.
"I find no problem with it." said Falco thoughtfully, crossing his arms(wings...things..) and shrugging.
"Of course you don't, Falco." Krystal shook her head. She looked at Kaimei. "So how do we get into your workshop?" ~~

Kaimei tilted his head at the door. "Trust me, you think this is bad... Mari was worse... she had no modesty whatsoever," he said as he strode to the door and pulled it open with a scraping sound as he noticed the hinges were barely holding. He noticed a momentary flicker of movement in a reflection of what little glass still hung in the windows before he twisted smoothly, pulling hard on the door, detaching it completely as he hurled the door behind him and to his left. It slammed hard into the throat of a lizardwoman who had slid out of the shadows, causing her to fall with a gurgling whisper that showed her larynx and windpipe had been crushed. Kaimei sighed, shaking his head fractionally. "It's inside," he muttered.

~~ They walked inside. Krystal gazed at the lizardwoman for a moment, before sighing and shaking her head slightly. Fox, meanwhile, glanced around. "Are all humans perverts, or do women on this planet just enjoy wearing showy outfits?" questioned Falco, arching an eyeridge, noting the lizardwoman's clothes, as well as the fact that they were in a lingerie shop. "Krystal was from a planet that was tribal, so her wardrobe was a bit racey." pointed out Fox. "You two would have this discussion, wouldn't you?" Krystal mumbled. "Falco was the one who brought it up." "And I'm just observing our surroundings." "If you say so." Krystal rolled her eyes. She looked over at Kaimei. "Why DOES everyone wear things like this?" ~~
