After a few phone calls, Johnny's mother finally found the house Ambrosia was staying at. She knew Johnny was talking about her more than he did anything, and wanted to see her to see if she knew anything about what had happened to him. She knocked on the door softly.

Ambrosia heard the knock from the door but was unable to get the door to answer so her aunt got the door allowing the woman inside. Ambrosia's hair wasn't in her face for once when she looked up at the ceiling. The marks on her face was clearly shown along with the ones on her legs from the face she had to wear short.

"Im sorry if this is a troublesome visit..." Johnny's mom said to her aunt softly, "But... My son has been in a strange state lately... I wanted to see if Ambrosia knew anything."

"Well I'm sure Ambrosia can try and help. I doubt she is sleeping at this moment. She's been through a lot. I'm sure she won't might," the aunt said as she led the woman upstairs. "Ambrosia? You awake?" her aunt asked when she came into the room she was in. Ambrosia turned her head to look at the Aunt to see a woman she didn't know of. "Yeah. Can't really sleep," she said softly.

"Im Johnathan's mother..." The woman explained to her, a bit appalled by the way her parents must have treated her, "Do you know if anything happened t o him that would make him upset?"

Ambrosia covered her eyes as she began to cry once more knowing she was clearly that cause of it all. She wanted to protect Johnny from the harm she got on a daily basis from her father. Her Aunt went to aide knowing Ambrosia wasn't in the best of states. "I..... I told him not to love me.. . . I wanted to protect him. I .... I didn't want him to get hurt," she said with her voice cracking.

Johnny's mom didnt know how to react to this, neither of the major people in her life being good communicators of emotion, "Im sorry... I didnt mean to upset you... But he was mutilating himself with whatever he could, crying his eyes out when that stopped happening..." She said, shaking her head, "I've never seen him like this before..."

Ambrosia felt the warm tears stream down her face as she continued to cover her eyes. "It... Not your fault..." she mumbled. Ambrosia soon heard what he was trying to do and felt so guilty for causing him to do that. She couldn't say here and do anything. She sat up to get off her bed to go see him but her Aunt forbade her to go by making her lay back down. Ambroisa looked at him mother, "please just let him know that I didn't say that for my benefit. I don't want him to suffer the same thing I have been for years." she practically begged of the woman.

Johnny's mother nodded and stood to leave, feeling that she had been here long enough and caused enough damage. She told Johnny everything and he didn't react at all. He knew that enough. He calmed down slightly, but still said nothing to her but, "Im sorry."

Ambrosia laid there in her bed before finally falling asleep on her body's command. As she laid there asleep she dreamed about Johnny and then saw her father killing him with his bare hands. She then screamed in her sleep as she was sweating from the fear deep within her.

Johnny got out of the hospital once they realized he had calmed down. His old injuries were already healed up, and the new, self inflicted ones were too minor for them to keep him there. His arm was still in a cast, something everyone at school took care to notice. No one spoke to him, something he was used to...

Ambrosia was forced to stay home due to her broken foot and what she had gone through. She had wanted to go to school but her Aunt wouldn't allow her to go or leave the house. She begged her aunt but there was no luck in changing her mind. Her seat was empty at school showing she wasn't there but later her Aunt would pick her work up for her to do

Johnny went through the days in a daze. It sucked, as he would describe it to anyone who asked him.

Ambrosia was soon able to get out of the house to attend school once more. At school she had her work she had missed from being at her new home as she still walking on one foot with crutches trying to do her best with her life once more.

Johnny was alone at lunch the day Ambrosia came back. He missed first period because of physical therapy and thought he'd just be going another day without her there... Everything felt so average without her there
