Temple of the Gods

Yumaki looked down at the scene below, walking upside down in the sky. "And the fun begins!" He yelled out. "Dont worry i'll just be watching...for now." he said darkly.

Lena looked up at Yumaki, a little surprised to see him doing his neat little tricks, but heard Nikolai and looked back at him. "That's great." she smiled a little and risked taking a few steps towards him and Dragon. "So how many things should I say sorry for?" she asked, avoiding eye contact.

Dragon got up and wiped his eyes with his sleeve then looked over at the girl. "Mom..." he murmured.

he gave her the silver wrapped present for their annaversary. "just open this, and accept it, and i will forgive you"

She blinked and looked at the box, half-expecting a bomb, but opened it anyways.

the lid came of and revealed a note.
Dear Lena:
happy annaversary! i just now realized you didnt have one of these....and now that you do, now its official that we are together. you really are my love...i hope to never lose you. i love you.

and underneath the note was a beautiful diamond ring...a wedding ring

Lena read the note, a blush climbing over her face, then looked inside the box and nearly dropped it. It was a gorgeous ring! She gaped at it then looked up at Nikolai. "You.... Th-this...... I........" She was at a pure loss for words.

Nikolai smiled and looked at Lena, walking right in front of her. its now....or never. "Lena...my love....will you.." he said, getting down on one knee and holding her hand. "marry me?"

Lena looked down at him with wide eyes and pinched herself to see if she was dreaming. Nope, it was all real. She blinked back a few tears of joy and hugged him. "Do you really have to ask?" she laughed.

he smiled and hugged her back. "oh thank you...thank you!" he laughed and kissed her, then placed the ring on her left hand ring finger.
((there is actually a reason why the finger next to the pinkie is the finger you put a wedding ring on. there is said to be a vein that runs from that finger to your heart, directly))

She kissed him back then looked at the ring. "I just.... Everything's so perfect right now. Are you sure I'm not dreaming?" she asked with a small chuckle.

Dragon watched the two and smiled a little. It would definitely be awkward, but at least he'd get to hang out with his parents. Too bad he was too old to be the Ring Bearer.

he smiled. "nope, its a dream come true" he said and looked at Dragon. "hey, why dont you be the flower girl?" he laughed. "oh wait, Ring Bearer. you ARE only one, remember?"

"Flower Girl? Gee, as tempting as that sounds, I'm a little too old looking for it." he murmured and looked down at himself then back at his parents. "But, umm, congrats." he smiled awkwardly.

Lena laughed a little at their conversation then remembered something. Damian almost made a scene - he probably did - when he met Hiro a while ago. If he found out about this... "Should we tell Damian?" she asked and looked back at Nikolai.

"yeah, now is the best time. i think Ray kinda shook him up at the Bowling Alley, eh?" he laughed and looked at Dragon. "i guess that means your next, buddy. oh"
((wont be on till late tomarrow....and wont be on much till sunday. goin to da beach!!))

((same here. tomorrow's my last day of vacation with my sisters, so they'll be draggin' me everywhere gonk then saturday's an 8 hour trip back home))

"Next for what? Being shaken?" Dragon raised an eyebrow and scratched his head in confusion. "Who's Damian?"

Lena just admired her ring and nuzzled Nikolai.

Yumaki smiled as he looked down at them from his spot in the air. "Check and mate..." He muttered, smiling then had his walk back home. "Four hours left, not sure if you read the note or not but like I said, I dont care, either way Hiro will...forget, and be the brother he's truly supposed to be." He said softly, shrugging his shoulders.
