Coffee Shop

Is it true that coffee can make you not grow? Vatanee asked. She was putting her notebook back into her bag when she realized she was on her third cappacino.

Jack looked at her "Only for a month" he said as he walked over to were she was and looked at her then her coffee "You keep this up you will be this small for three months

She looked at her coffee then shrugged Oh well, its worth it. And besides I'm not worried about being small. She said with a smile. She put her bag on the floor beside her and happily drank her coffee.

"Well say that when you reach 20 then it gets funny" he said to her as he looked her over and then to her coffee

Vatanee shook her head I'm never going to turn 20 because in my little world that I live in I'm staying 17 forever. She said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Ok stay 17 make it were there are still things you can't do" he said in a smart like tone

She looked up from her coffee at him What could possibly be so important that I won't want to stay 17?

"Sould i make the list" he said to her as he was not wanting to say them all

She thought about it for a moment then handed him a pen and a peice of paper Sure, why not. She said before taking a drink of her coffee.

"I was only jokeing but there would be a reason sooner or later" he then said as he pushed the paper away

Vatanee laughed and then started to doodle on the paper I don't know, I like being 17 so I really can't see myself wanting to be any older or younger.

"I wish i was younger" he said as he looked at John and Jane "oh ya you are here"

She looked over to where he was looking and smiled at the two people in the room with them. She looked back to the paper and found she had no more room so she got up to throw it away.

Jane already helped herself to a huge mug of hot cocoa. She was so at peace that she zoned out for everything around her.

Vatanee went and sat back at the counter and looked at her coffee. You know I feel kind of bad not paying for this but there's really nothing I can do about it I guess. She said talking to the cappacino.
