i do abstain from double posts and stacked (A, B, A, B, A, B pattern) posting in an RP with multiple players involved.
it sometimes looks like this A, B, A, B, C, A, C, B, A, C, A, C, B...
only when necessary will it be stacked replies. sometimes the RP story requires a focus point.
it will follow more of a conversational order.
e.g. i address you, you answer me, someone pitches in their two cents, i answer them, you observe what is said and respond to both
does that make sense?
'waiting a turn' becomes 'waiting for a response'
whoever has a ready response, responds.
conflicts in posting order will be avoided through use of communication among players in OOC,
where you announce significant action or significant answers.
sometimes there will be two separate conversations happening at once depending on character location, position, who they are closest to, and who they are whispering to (bold italic).

Yup~ do that in all the RPs with more than two characters. It's really terrible when the tenth player has to wait like nine posts to appear until they can post again. It's better to call out in OOC if you need to post for your character to do anything special before somebody beats you to the punch.
