Imiar sat up on the couch and watched him make tea. She was grateful that he'd thought to make some. However, with the absence of her embarrassment, she felt the need to bring up her questions once more:
"Ukitake, I know you think these questions can wait, but I am very worried. Is that other ninja particularly strong? He would have to be to do damage to Kyvanus, but..." She trailed off briefly, remembering something else, "And how did I not recognize that that was not actually Kyvanus? I should have known." She smiled grimly, "He would be disappointed in me." She almost wished that the sun elf could be there, lecturing her about her inattentiveness. Then, at least, she could be sure he was alright.

Imiar sipped her tea, though the calm that normally washed over her did not descend. Her mouth was set in a hard line. Ukitake's words had almost made her shatter her cup in her vice-like grip; she did not take deceit lightly, considering it was that which caused her own family to drive her away. She could handle a lot of terrible things, but not being deceived.
That psycho was Kyvanus the whole time? Her mind had been reeling for so long that this was just one more thought added to the tornado that was her brain--it was almost like a blender, her thoughts becoming jumbled because of the sheer amount of questions she had. If that is true, he knows much about me, and I know very little about him. That is not a position I am used to, and it is not a good position to be in.
She'd remained silent the entire time, only having taken a small sip of her tea. Finally she turned to Ukitake, saying "I need you to tell me what you can about him. I am not comfortable knowing so little about my opponent while he knows so much of me." Her eyes were scorching with the intensity of a true bounty hunter. She'd placed her own bounty on the head of that ninja, and she was definitely going to collect.
((It's totally alright! I've mostly been studying anyways, I have a huge exam Wednesday night... crying ))

Ukitake took a deep breath in before beginning to explain.
"Zaraki was a fellow classmate of mine, before he went rouge after his experiments caused him fame and scrutiny. He was able to travel through time for about an hour before or an hour after the present time back then.
I was sent on a mission to retrieve him from his laboratory, much to my disdain. It pained me to capture him, but I was on village orders. I managed to secure him, but not without a bloodbath. I caused the scar on his right eye, which he has held against me ever since. The last time I heard of him, he was in our top security prison. I suppose he managed to wiggle his way out of that.
As for combat, we are about equally matched. He hasn't tried to use time travel in our battles yet, but if he does, I'm not so sure we'd be even."
He took another breath while sipping on his tea. It was rather relieving to know another ninja existed, but time travel bothered him. How would he go about fighting this great enemy?

Imiar listened intently to all of the information she was given, taking another sip of her tea. She thoroughly scanned the information for anything glaringly important before she locked it away for future reference.
Her eyes were still burning when she smirked at Ukitake, "If--when it comes to a fight, you leave his pesky time travel to me. He won't be able to stay away from us for long." She took another sip of tea, a larger one this time. Yes, the thought of a time-travelling enemy made her nervous, but she could easily tag him with her magic. It would burn and burn until she made it stop, and she would only do so when he rejoined them in time. The only other way to stop her magic is if she was killed, which would never happen by the likes of this Zaraki.
The tea was finally beginning to take effect. She could feel herself becoming tired little by little, but fought it off. She was not yet ready to retire for the night. After she quickly finished off her tea, she rose and approached the door of the small hut, placing a hand on it and closing her eyes. She hadn't had to do this in a long time, and it took a moment for her wards to become fully effective. No one could enter within a two mile radius of this residence without her being awakened--enough time to prepare for battle or flee. Even then, there was a strong seal over the exterior, preventing entry. It might have been overkill, but she refused to take any chances. It would sap much of her strength to keep this up overnight, but she would recover enough in her sleep to function the next day.

Imiar took the necklace from him, holding it gingerly.
"It was my brother's," She began quietly, "He gave it to me when I spoke my first word--his name... We were very close. Sometimes I still miss him." She lifted the chain over her head, letting the cool metal fall around her neck once more.
Looking back at him, she noticed his blush. She resisted the urge to laugh, though she couldn't hide her smile.
She observed carefully as he made his clone, pulling her chain mail off and replacing it with the sleeping gown in one smooth motion.
"Unnecessary," She said simply in response, waving her hand. Though not unappreciated, she added mentally, her heart warming at Ukitake's willingness to help.
