She stared at her acquaintance coldly as she spoke to the Burning Scythe, throwing Shin under the bus. "Oh, Shin loves fixing things, whether items or righting wrongs that have nothing to do with him. He does it all, so you found the perfect person." )☯( Meanwhile, the laughing coffin members continued watching. When the Burning Scythe glared their way, the handsome man felt a little chuckle bubble in his throat. He merely gave a smartass, casual smile and waved as if he were greeting a friend, his calm facade nearly impenetrable. On the inside though, he wore a wide, wicked grin as he longed for his enemy's blood, craving the guilty pleasure of witnessing it splatter across the diner floor and dripping down his sword's sharp blade. Overhearing Yumiko's remark, his smile widened. His eyes widened and he froze, just watching speechlessly as his younger cousin attacked the snake and landed beside him. He just stared at her in disbelief, "H-How? This can't be..." He glanced up at the snake to see it was prepping to attack her, him shoving both of them out of the way and tumbling to the ground. "W-We'll talk about this later. Right now, you need to leave to somewhere safe!" He stood and stole the serpent's attention again as he went in for an attack and landed it. His mind was going mad, in denial that what occurred actually happened. Yui watched as the battle in the cave continued, another player joining the group. Suddenly the boy's mental state seemed to change become a bit unstable for a moment. Did he know the girl from outside the game? Turning her gaze back onto the other screens, Yui watched other players, some holding up well while others not so much. Cardinal, why are you letting this happen, yet you let me interact indirectly with the players. Who is trying to control you? Yui thought to herself.

Klein looked up at the new comer who just took out a bit of the snake's HP while talking about someone named Kazuto. "Kazuto?" He asked himself then realized she must have been talking about Kiritosince he was the only being hit most of the time. "Hey Kirito you know her?" He asked then noticed his eyes widening at seeing the girl and talking to her. 'I guess so' He thought as he turned his attention back to the serpent. He quickly charged up a sword skill then stepped in just after Kirito landed his hit, distracting the serpent for a moment, to attack the serpents tail again. He landed the hit and luckily together they got the serpents health just below 50%.

Shinu looked at the Burning Scythe, seeing his logo and noticing that his name wasn't actually the Burning Scythe but rather Oz, Burning Scythe was the name of his guild. Shinu also noticed that this Oz seemed to have a distaste for the Laughing Coffin as he looked their direction and called them trash. Shinu could empathize with him as he himself hated that murder guild, Shinu killed too but at least he had a code for it. When Oz asked for his apparel to be fixed Shinu kind of glanced at it then at him, but before he could even say anything Yumiko popped off with her rude mouth. He released a sigh and looked at her with blank eyes. "Your point is taken, I will leave you alone from here on out." He told her then looked over at Oz and nodded. "I'll accept your offer and repair your armor, but not for Col. There is a dungeon I'm intending to clear and soloing it will be a bit hard seeing how the creatures there are my level or a little under, I'm looking to get a magical weapon drop from there. If you'll agree to help me then I'll take care of your no problem right now." Shinu offered the deal to Oz, noticing that he was staring intently at the Laughing Coffin members, he must have hated them with a passion.

Oz eye bounced between the two player's in front of him. He looked at the male and shook his head in agreement then he lifted his finger up in front of his face as to ask for one second, He then stood up and dismissed his Scythe as he turned to face the straight faced man in the corner. Oz made no attempt to hide his intentions as he activated his unarmed SOA ability Quick jab to punch the man in the face
A flurry of movement and the duel was over, the dark haired girl stood victorious and the guy in heavy armor joined a growing group. "Sorry you did good but like I said if ya can't beat me there's no point going beyond this point. Cause I won't let you just rush into death go back and level up some more 'kay." Yūki smiled as the defeated group headed back into town; she had been facing anyone that came past the field after the second town, and so far was undefeated. This wasn't, as most thought, to bully others or boost her own level but because Yūki had taken it upon herself to keep people from recklessly trying to face strong monsters and just die. She better than most understood the weight of death, having her parents die a year ago and then there was her health.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts just as another group showed up, Yūki smiled. "If you wish to pass you must beat me, otherwise you'll just die. You can face me one by one or as a group, first one to red loses 'kay? " Her words seemed to only anger the group as they drew their weapons. Oh their that kind of group, she thought with a sigh. Every so often she faced people that took offence to her challenge.
"Move girl we are the Holy Dragon Alliance, we've no time to face a child " The leader spoke with an arrogance that just begged to be beaten by the " child" he thought so little of. "Fine if you want to play hard ball I'll be sure to return your paralyzed bodies back to town." Before any of the six soldiers could react Yūki attacked without holding back, which she normally did. This fight was over in a matter of moments, unlike everyone else here Yūki'd been in the virtual world for over a year already so she moved with a speed and strength few could match. Unfortunately that power came with an annoying tag, "Damn Beta-tester wench," the leader said before passing out. Yūki's face went red with anger, "I AM NOT A BETA TESTER!!!! " She yelled teleporting herself and the group back to town.
"Geez why 'o those guys always think I'm a beta tester, what a girl can't kick their butts without foreknowledge of the game? Losers," she said walking towards the gate again.

This was what she wanted, so why was she so upset? She couldn't really comprehend her reaction. )☯( All she knew was she finally came to her senses as she turned just in time to witness the handsome man get decked right in the face by the Burning Scythe. She gasped and rushed across the room, standing in front of the Laughing Coffin member protectively. All her fear of the man swept away as she yelled fiercely at Shin's new temporary partner, "What the hell is wrong with you?" To her surprise, Yumi whirled around to find the handsome man laughing with a wide grin on his countenance as he stood and simply said,"Good day to you too, sir." He signaled the other member to follow as he grabbed the girl's hand and started making his way to the diner door.Yumi blushed and awkwardly sheathed her sword, glancing over to Shin as she was dragged along. Her face first showcased her disappointment until she snapped out of it and glared. He's the enemy, nothing more. ◣__________________________________________◢ - "The Handsome Man" xd -

Shinu nodded in agreement with Oz then proceeded to fix Oz's armor, he almost laughed as he watched Oz hit the Laughing Coffin member in the mouth. He then raised a brow as he saw Yumiko get upset, she wanted him gone, she continuously asked for the two to be separated and complained how he was a burden so why act surprised when he agreed to leave? Shinu jumped back as she drew her sword then slapped him on the top of his head with the blade, he blinked and grabbed his head. It didn't actually hurt but he was used to feeling pain in the real world that he imagined it when she hit him. Normally Shinu would have just been done with it then and be off to deal with this dungeon, but he watched as Yumiko ran to the Laughing Coffin's side. A bad decision she was making, that guild was bad news and Shinu knew it, personally he'd kill all of them if he had the power and the chance but he did not. He gritted his teeth and hopped up from his seat. handing Oz his coat before chasing after Yumiko. He had no problem with her leaving, but leaving with the Laughing Coffin was something else entirely. He drew his rapier and followed them out. "Wait a minute."

OZ glare intensified when the female player jumped in the way to protect the trash he instinctively summoned his two handed sword and got ready to strike her down, However he mustered up enough will power to stay his hand. He then noticed that his Guild coat had been Re added to his inventory. He quickly equipped it. Spreading his arm's out watching as his dark black trench coat cover his body Flame's Spreading from his feet to his knees through the fabric the Scythe's crossing at his back and colliers as well as the top of his hands. He followed after not the female but the Male player he had his mind set on killing the Coffin's. All of them so he was ready to kill the female player if she had switched to there side. He motioned for his crow to follow which it did . he then put it to scout mood as he moved forward ready for anything

He was really a charmer...she wondered if anyone else noticed. She silently nodded as an acknowledgement to show she was listening then glanced down at the ground and sighed. Her mind was elsewhere deciding to rid Shin from her mind for good, that was until he popped up...again. She glanced over to Nano, who seemed flustered by the appearance of both men again.He released her hand and simply whispered in her ear quietly so the others could hear, "Meet me on the roof of this diner in the evening and let us postpone the duel to another day." He lifted her hand and planted a light kiss on it, Yumiko's face redder than ever, before he continued, "Until then." Nano turned removing an oddly curved sword from concealment though not standing in any threatening manner. He smiled casually at his enemies, swinging his weapon around as he stepped forward and spoke when waving his hands, "Ah, C'mon! Can't we all be friends? I mean if it's the girl you want, you have fine taste. She's all yours--" "Enough!" Yumiko wore her best facade as she tossed her arms up like they were all hopeless. "All of you men are getting on my last nerve! I'm better off alone! Now if you'd excuse me, I have some business to attend to!" She looked directly at Shin, "You're the biggest let-down here. Now, you said so yourself you have some as well, so just please stop this nonsense and just go." She turned away and in a slight instant she met eye to eye with Nano, their exchanged glances giving a clear answer of acceptance, before she stormed off. )☯( Nano placed up his hands and shrugged with a smug smile still on his face, "Well, you heard the lovely lady. Will you respect her wishes?" He wait for a response of the men before him, still wielding sword carelessly in one hand. The other Laughing Coffin member glanced back at the girl then slipped his hand upon his own weapon as a precaution just in case the Abyss Walker and Burning Scythe decided to attack them, though deep down he feared the idea.

Shinu looked up at Yumiko as she spoke about how all of them were getting on her nerve and that Shinu was the biggest let-down there. The Laughing Coffin man seemed to have a cocky attitude, one that didn't help Shinu's anger at the moment. He was tired of trying to keep calm and being his version of friendly, he looked up at Yumiko with his blank eyes. "Shut up....I'm tired of hearing you whine and cry because you don't understand my behavior. I promised that I'd leave you alone and I will, but nor until I've killed the two of them." Shinu spoke to Yumiko as he twirled around his rapier and walked straight for Nano, his words void of care and filled with anger. "You need to shut up too, you talk to much. I'd like to see how well you can talk when my rapier pierces through the back of your skull and you beg for mercy before your HP drops to zero. I'll hear you scream before you die." Shinu told Nano, sending him a duel request, intending to kill him in the duel. "The way I see it, you have two options. Accept the duel and die here and now, or you can watch your back the moment you leave this safe zone. I will hunt you down like a dog and I will kill you. The choice is yours." Shinu offered, he reverted to his natural, bleak, "emo" state, feeling no remorse for those that killed because it was fun. Shinu stuck to killing red players and green players that were once red players or organized for other people in the game to die. People like the Laughing Coffin were just murderers for the sake of feeling powerful when they killed people, Shinu wouldn't stand for that and would kill all that associated with them. If Yumiko put herself between Shinu and the Coffin, she'd be fighting against him.

It was working. The bats were moving away from the other two males and focusing on Arkuros. Arkuros was having an easier time dealing with the large swarm than he expected. All those monsters ambushing him really helped increase his battle healing. His health was going down slower than it would thanks to the regenerated health. It was barely even noticeable. Thanks to that he was able to keep the swarm focused around him and not the rest of the players. Arkuros moved further away from the four to prevent any of them from getting close to the swarm and attracting their attention away from Arkuros. As more bats were destroyed, more took their place. The swarm had to stop when the group destroyed the serpent so he just had to last until then. He couldn't get a great view of their progress but based what he saw earlier they had to be nearing half of the serpent's health.

Rolling with Kazuto as the two narrowly escaped a venomous shower, Leafa sighed hearing her brother order her to leave. "Sorry Kazuto, but I had planned to take out this thing tomorrow with a party of my own. But I think you guys are better, just remember if I get the last hit your party gets nothing for their trouble." Despite the danger Suguha was attempting to keep an up beat attitude, she knew she'd need it later. With a final smile towards her brother Leafa charged another sword skill before charging the snake, jumping she cutting a large X across its front before using the recoil of its body to kick back out of its strike range.
"See Kazuto I'm not a little girl, I did make it to the nationals in kendo." Leafa spoke as she dodged another shot of venom, she loved her brother but sometimes she wished he'd see she's not a kid anymore. Especially in here because if he didn't acknowledge her abilities they both might end up with zero HP.

Michael smiled a bit as he finally made it to the second town. The sun had just started to sink in the sky and Michael sighed. He managed to gain a few levels but he was hoping to get a lot of quests done before going to bed. However he knew he would only be able to get one done so he decided to start it and go into the field to find the item he needed.
