Miranda Shwartz JoyRose Got you both! Thanks for helping keep our little village alive! No problem!~ I hope it's all right that we're posting here. sweatdrop Should we move to a new thread so we don't clutter the raffle thread?
Oh I'm just glad you're here having fun! I don't really care where you have fun and get to know each other. I'm perfectly fine with weeding through the chatter. Of course you're welcome to join any thread anywhere in the guild and even to make your own threads should you desire it. The more the merrier!!

Miranda Shwartz william-tyler Specific games, well...most games. I don't generally like gun-games based on war, but because warcraft is medieval based, its different than the army type gun games. If I was to play a gun game with an army, I'd sign up for one on earth, a real army. Much better resolution and there is no reset if I died. That's the danger of the earth gun army games. It keeps war alive. Yeah, same here. I'm absolutely terrible at first-person shooters. The only one I'm kind of good at is Plants v.s Zombies: Garden Warfare but I'm not sure if that even counts. It's such a silly (and fun!) game. I highly respect my countries soldiers but I could never go to war myself. I mean, I'm perfectly fine with a brawl. Maybe some knife fights. But guns, bombs, two ginormous teams slaughtering each other? Uhh... I don't think so. >___<;;
What I love about warcraft is that it is so much more than just teams going to war. Its like...going to a whole new world and that world thrives on battle while at the same time trying to preserve the planet from being destroyed.
You have many currencies and each does its own thing.
Of course you have money in the game which is separated into copper (pennies), silver (up to 99) and gold (dollars).
Then there are currencies that are more like trade currency. So, like if you get 250 valor currency, you can upgrade a high level gear. If you have 5000 apexis crystals (available only in Draenor), then you can get the most powerful armor and weapons in the game with a few exceptions. When you reach level 100, your gear goal is to get the baleful set. This means you want to gather crystals any way that you can or find the gear (which is tougher) by killing rare creatures in an area known as Tanaan Jungle.
When you are between 85 and 90, or if you so choose to stay in Pandaria, another good set of gear and using currency is timeless gear. This gear is bought with timeless coins.
Some currency, there is no use for but to collect it.
But the currency money is always going to be needed regardless of level. Professions, gear, mounts, and riding lessons all cost money. Of course there are some upgrades too and followers that cost money too.
The thing is, you can get money easily as William had explained. Terry would probably be able to explain this game the best since he is farther than Will and I.
Maybe I will make a thread on the game so that those who might want to play it who don't will not be wandering into the game all lost.

JoyRose Hi there! Welcome to Our Village! emotion_hug
I guess everyone wants in on the June prize, ha ha ha!
Seriously, I am glad that my wife had typed all that info out for the world of warcraft. There are books out too if you don't wanna play the game, but would like to know about the lore of the story.
The first novel is called Rise of the Horde. The best part is, that the movie that just came out in theatres is based on that book, so you don't have to read it, you can see what happens in that story.
The next book to that is called...The last guardian. It is the sequel to the movie. These warcraft books are full size novels and takes some time to read, but they are worth it for the entertainment you get out of them.
One book that I found pretty violent was the one called The Lich King. This book talks about a man named Arthas who became the Lich King after the original one named Sargaras disappears for a while.
In the movie, the man named Medivh is possessed by Sargaras, which I read in the novel The Rise of the Horde...or was it the Last guardian...anyway, Sargaras is the original Lich King and Arthas became second and Arthas was more destructive than Sargaras.
So, if playing the game isn't your thing and you'd rather read, then those books are definitely worth your while. And the books are found in Chapters and Coles bookstores if you wanted to know that.
My wife and I are currently reading a book dealing with dragons in the game. The book is called the Dawn of the Aspects. If you read the novels you might get to know your setting for at least where Jinxi and Rock are going to go. Rock isn't going to choose Nalith over Azeroth, though he knows Azeroth is more dangerous.
He goes to Azeroth because Jinxi mentioned something about shapeshifting a while back and he wants her to experience it. So, you know how you put that info in the library here, the one about the races of Azeroth, you'd best pick one for when you arrive in that land in the RP.
