When the cry of a Pokemon sounded out above the noise of the ending battle, Avikna's gaze turned sharply towards it's source. One of the grunts was abusing the poor thing, turning Avikna's normal scowl to an even deeper disgruntled look. Though, before she could do much of anything, the monk took action. The other grunts seemed to be rather perturbed by the male's actions against the Pokemon, but not entirely on Saru's side either. Avikna looked away when Team Rocket was mentioned, and her crossed arms grew tighter when she felt she was being dragged into this monk's business. Like she needed anymore on her plate.
"What about those two!?" Tay demanded, jabbing a finger towards the two grunts whom she'd previous had an altercation with. "They were abusing Pokemon too!" She stated her frown being a tad more adorable then she'd likely thought it was. The 'leader' of the pack, turned with a frown. "That was different, Tiny Tina. They weren't doing no harm to those mons, and they were set to go to a real nice crib. Speakin' of which. The client still wants his mons, so we're goin' ta haff ta take'em back, dig?" Tay stomped a foot. "I do not 'dig'." She replied. "And you cant have Mana or Tethe, they want to stay with me." The teen then looked down to one of the Pokemon in question, just as Mana released herself from her ball. Tethe nodded firmly, stepping to Freya's side, raising his hind quarters to show off the bulb on his back. Mana then stepped before Tay, blocking the teen from any potential harm. "Really? Man, this jus' ain't are day so far." He grunted, glancing over to the fem, who at this point seemed to be his right-hand lady, the co-captain of sorts for this small pack of grunts. "Your pain in the a** keeps breakin' bones, while mine is going to end up making me get my bones broken. Guzma ain't goin' to be happy with either of us until we end these fools." He stated. Looking back towards Tay, he pulled out a Pokeball. "I'll end this real quick."
Tay stood no chance. Not unless Mana had actually been able to battle, but after seeing that Palossand, something like fear crossed the Meganium's eyes. Of course, Vivi stepped in, only to be put to sleep and nearly buried by sand, thanks to the Palossand's Bulldoze. This was all Avikna could take. She had to step in. Pushing herself froward, she pulled out a ball and released the Pokemon from within. Aislin emerged, not entirely looking to happy. She turned her gaze back to Avikna, then to the grunt in front of her. The canine seemed to sigh, but lifted her arms without much more fuss. 'This is for Tay, not you, right?' The canine asked, using the telepathic connection she and Avikna had. 'Yes.' Avikna replied sharply. 'Alright, you owe me one.' With a grin, Aislin began her fight.
