xxxxx"Boarding all passengers!" the captain of the DCS Albatross announced over the main communications circuit. The sailors relayed the call to the prospective passengers waiting for the brow to come down, and as soon as it touched the pier, there was a wave of bodies coming aboard. Along with the people were boxes and containers, medical supplies, shipping armaments, foodstuffs, and other valuables. The cargo ship filled its hold with goods and personnel, lines were cast off, the anchor hoisted up, and the DCS Albatross set sail for Mazu Island.
xxxxxAmong the passengers aboard was a particular individual who stood out amongst the crowd, not necessarily because he was well-known, but because of the robotic arm that was attached to him. Elco Vossers watched as the shore disappeared, wincing at the wave of motion sickness that threatened to rear its ugly head. He took a bite of some medicinal bread meant to help calm his stomach, making a face at the taste but chewing and swallowing it all the same.
xxxxxElco was onboard the ship with his partner, Ailish, as a kind of dispatch unit to protect the goods onboard. There had been a rise in pirate activity as of late, and the Albatross was one of the few ships that had yet to be assaulted. A job had been posted calling for the protection of the ship and its medical supplies and other goods, and as an act of goodwill and faith from the kingdom of Illumina, Elco had agreed to take the job.
xxxxxBut still, pirates? Elco had fought alongside Ailish and others against goblins, ghouls, zombies, and even a dark god, but he had never fought in unstable waters against humans. He reached down and unconsciously touched his gun, the Ion Fluxinator. Hopefully, the pirates would maintain their distance from the Albatross, and he wouldn't have to kill anyone or anything.

xxxxxSerban watched as the vehicle approached quickly, holding Lumis close and listening to her speak. As soon as she saw who was driving the vehicle, however, she grinned widely. "And here's our ride," she said, smiling down at Lumis.
xxxxxThe vehicle nearly drove past the two, but suddenly made a sharp turn and slid towards them. The side of the vehicle opened up as the vehicle stopped before them, revealing a mechanical humanoid creature behind a circular object that seemed to be directing the car. The Overseer of the town of Serban looked down upon his creator and her friend. "Get in!" he declared urgently.
xxxxxSerban picked up Lumis and sat her down in the seat next to the Overseer, then jumped onto the back of the vehicle as the side door closed. "What are you doing here, Overseer?" she asked, trying to hide the hint of happiness and excitement in her voice. She touched the top of the vehicle with her Artificer's Tool, and the metal armor she wore melded with the vehicle, allowing her to slide inside. The energy crystal formed with some more metal to become a makeshift mortar, which Serban aimed at the trees as the vehicle began to peel away.
xxxxx"You missed your comms window," the Overseer stated. "Per direction, if you have not called me within three days-"
xxxxx"Then you are to assume I'm dead and retrieve my body," Serban finished. "Can't believe I forgot that, but hey! It came in handy."
xxxxxThe Overseer looked over to Lumis. "Who is your friend?"
xxxxx"Oh, that's Lumis. We did the job with the pink slimes. She's a healer."
xxxxx"Your barrier was quite effective, Lumis," the Overseer said. "Thank you for taking care of my creator."
xxxxxSeveral shadows flitted through the trees, following the vehicle as it drove away. One of the shadows jumped into view and landed on the front of the vehicle, metal claws hooking into the front so the person before the group wouldn't fall off. It was a Red Wing Vampire, equipped with standard killing fingers that were basically metal extensions of their index and ring fingers. The vampire was obviously here for one reason: to assassinate Serban.
xxxxx"Oh, come on!" Serban exclaimed, swinging the mortar around and bringing it to bear on the vampire.

xxxxxLiam watched intently as Ichka relaxed her posture and retracted her claws. He rescinded his flame aura and ran a clawed hand through his tousled hair. Definitely not a Red Wing Vampire. "Self defense, huh?" he murmured. He hadn't really wanted to fight in the first place, but to find another vampire - no, it was for the best. "Well, best let the clerics revive the dead and the justicars deal with you." He noticed Ichka's look and turned away, crouching down and touching the spilled blood on the floor. The Ifrit claws seemed to hum as they sucked the blood from the room into them, fueling Liam and providing him succor for a few more days. He didn't know why she was looking at him like that, let alone what that look was, but it certainly made him feel self-conscious.
xxxxxZeus stared at Gurkiran for a few long seconds as he relaxed his aura, then relaxed Ixiom and placed it back on her belt. "You've ceased all aggression," she replied. "There is no need to fight anymore." She turned and noticed Ichka staring at Liam, and even though she was a doll, she could still feel jealously and protectiveness building up inside her.
xxxxxThe door behind Liam opened up, and several members of Dragon Castle's medical division entered the room. The priests and clerics set to work using downs of phoenix feather, light magic, and holy prayers to fully revive the dead and restore their body parts, whereas the justicars surrounded Ichka and Gurkiran...from a distance, of course. One of the justicars looked to Liam and Zeus. "We'd heard from the civvies about what started this. We also don't want to have to get revived. Mind taking them down to the dungeons?" The justicar took a second look at Ichka and Gurkiran. "Then again, maybe just a warning and an escort off the premises for the day would serve as ample punishment." The revived guards began to complain about the unfairness of it all, to which the justicars beat them to within an inch of their lives and reminded them that they were lucky to be alive at all.
xxxxxLiam and Zeus looked to each other, then to Ichka and Gurkiran. "Off the premises?" Liam repeated. "Where the hell would we take them?"
xxxxx"Doesn't matter," Zeus replied. "Anywhere is better than here." She strode over to another door and opened it, waiting for Gurkiran and Ichka to walk through. As she stood at the door, Liam stood behind Gurkiran and Ichka to preclude any escape attempts.

The Vampire was very surprised that the two beings seemed to step down from their aggressive state. Wow...it worked. She turned towards Zues. It seemed Gurkiran had accomplished the same thing. She sighed in releif. A sigh too soon it seemed as members of the dragon castle flooded the bloody scene. She was ready to hear more orders being barked and more threats being made so It came as another surprise that they were going to be let go? She looked at the man and woman who would become their escorts and smiled a tad bit. Perhaps it was for the best. She stayed quiet between everything. She liked being a smart a**, but even she knew there were times where silence went a long way. She eyed the couple curiously as she couldn't help but feel an air of disdain from Zues. Her glare told her everything. As Zues opened the door Ichka took the initiative to walk through it first, but not before stopping in front of Liam and sending a charming smile his way. "Looking forward to being escorted by you" Her voice was sweet. A voice so benevolent and sincere that couldn't be fathomed to belong to someone who had attempted to assassinate so many people. She then turned to Zues and smiled at her and continued on her way ahead wondering where they would end up.

Aliyah Watched Jordon, and hug her head slightly. It was kind of him to put the spirit to rest to give the dead a form of sound sleep. "May he rest in peace...." She spoke softly. Looking to Milo as he stated about his mission, Aliyah folded over her plated chest. "Well, after receiving an anonymous tip that things were going south here upon these hills, I was irrational by not taking back-up with me on this journey.....Had I....." The paladin trailed off, and looked to the grave. "Perhaps we would have all lived to see another day....." Letting out a heavy sigh, she looked towards the sky. "But, now I must traverse back to Dragon Castle with my report-"

Aliyah cut herself when distant sounds of galloping started to grow louder. The woman, got into a ready position, only to be quickly greeted with a small dispatch of solders, scouts no less from these lands. The young lad reported their reason for being there; According to her commanding officer- when she did not return from such a small task within the time frame given, worry spread out, and he had ordered a search team. The Paladin sighed again, and looked to her new found companions as there were horses ready for them. "If you wish to follow me back to the castle, I promise safe heaven, and a warm meal.....free of charge of course....." She mounted on one of the horses, getting a feel of the reigns. "Otherwise, this would be our farewell."

Phelan clenched his staff tightly in hand, ready to make his move to protect Horrin. This all changed when one of Natrium's crystal-like soldiers approached him. The next thing he knew he was soaring and spinning through the air, landing hard on the cold, stone floor. He quickly rises to his feet and before he could realize he was no longer with the group the door behind him shuts loudly. Phelan spun around and made a dash towards it, as soon as he got to it however, swords emerged through it on either side of him, causing him to jump in surprise. He tried the handle but to no avail it wouldn't budge, he then gripped the bars of the gated window and peered in at Natrium.

"Natty! What are you doing?! Please unseal the door! I can't let you do this alone!", Phelan's words were panicky, his misty eyes shifted from Natrium to Elbrus who began to advance towards her. His lips parted in an attempt to warn her, but nothing audible could escape him. This moment brought Phelan back to his last moments with his mentor, it was all too surreal, even down to Natrium's final words mirroring his. Phelan was brought back to reality just in time to see Elbrus swing down upon Natrium, tears abruptly streaming down Phelan's cheeks.

Phelan took a few steps back and covered his face with his arms as the flash of lightning followed the strike, he lowered his arms and slowly approached the window once again, his eyes widening upon seeing the near-unrecognizable remains of Natrium. He clenched his eyes shut, tears forcing their way through. He gasped sharply before crying out "NATRIUUUUUM!!!".

Opening his eyes and looking through a bleary film of tears, he locked eyes with Elbrus once again with a burning hatred growing inside him, evident as he slammed a shaking fist right against the door. He shifted his gaze to meet Horrin as he told Phelan to leave, the sheer lack of sympathy and monotonous tone told Phelan that whatever remained of his other friend was no longer there. Phelan staggered back from the door and slowly turned to peer down the narrow passageway. He caught sight of his staff and leaned down to collect it, slowly rising he abruptly doubled over and spewed out the remnants of apple he had earlier that day. Phelan's other hand gripped tightly onto one of the several stacks of books off to the side for support, something felt off about these books in particular. Phelan could detect some sort of magic emanating from them, suddenly he felt a cold chill tingle down his spine, he instinctively withdrew his hand from the books frowned. The low light from the candles in the alcoves reflected off the book's metallic edges, the symbols on the covers were of dark shades and archaic in design, but there was no mistaking that these were spell tomes that contained.. dark magic.

The one thing that drove Phelan from his home, that which he traveled so far to help eradicate, this personal evil from which he can never seem to escape. Without giving much thought, he held out his hand and used what little magical energy he had left to spark a flame and ignite the stacks of tomes. Phelan stood up and glanced at the flames with his glassy, empty stare for a moment before taking his leave from the passage. He eventually came across a ladder which led up to the streets up above, Phelan climbed up and popped open the grating, he poked his head out to find himself now in the Market District of Maldria. He climbed out and recovered the entrance to the sewers before making his trek back to the castle.

Phelan felt empty by this point, the only thing driving him forward was the hope that he would eventually find Hiyama. Eventually he reached the stairs leading up to Sanctuary, he glanced up to see there under the torchlight, glowing like a beacon of hope was Sir Aeros, conversing with two women he had never met before. 'Sir.. Aeros.. help.. please..' Phelan repeated this in his head with every drag of his feet. He staggered into the area of light around Hiyama, Cairalei, and Amara, clothes damp, hair slicked back with sludge, face dirty and bruised. He inched closer to Hiyama, eyes glazed over with tears. only to collapse at the elf's feet. He was barely capable of letting out small whimpers and sobs, his shaky hand reaching out to grasp onto Hiyama's foot, now a quivering mess of a man before him.

Feeling? Empty
Where at? Sewers Of Maldria > Outside Sanctuary
Who with? Horrin, Natrium, and their summons > Hiyama, Cairalei & Amara
OOC: Terribly sorry if this comes off as rushed. ^^;

It almost felt surreal, to be saved at a moment so dire. Lumis felt a wave of relief wash over her and her shield dropped as Serban picked her up, placing her inside the vehicle. As Serban and the Overseer were talking, Lumis ripped a long strip from her dress and carefully wrapped it around her shoulder, tying it as tightly as she could. It wasn’t until she heard her name that she turned her attention to the humanoid machine “I-It was no problem. Though she took care of me more than I did with her,” the woman smiled, but it was short lived when something appeared on the vehicle. Although she didn’t scream, she jumped back in her seat from the surprise. ‘Was this what attacked us earlier?’ she wondered as she watched Serban about ready to blast it. 'No. They were attacking us from a distance. This one wasn't.' It was obvious that there was more than one.

The Angels were watching and Death will be waiting. Until the right time.

“You have got to be kidding me! Augh!” The woman stomped on the ground and threw away the goggles she was wearing. They were enchanted to help see through spells that would cloak a person with any sort of magic. “I should have shot the other damn woman through the hurt!” Cupid took in a deep breath to relax herself. Had this been an assignation job she would have been done with it. With irritated huff she flew off the ground and high into the sky before chasing after the group. Her bow was still ready in her hands and she was preparing another arrow. She had no doubt in her mind that with enough force she could pierce through that metal, but she stopped as she noticed the movements around the trees and something else attacking the group. The woman was irritated at first, but then calmed down “They could probably take care of the rest of them and I won’t have to do a thing. Ha! Lucky me!” She laughed and watched with observant eyes from above.

xxxxxThe Red Wing vampire had only enough time to hiss at Serban's mortar turret before the turret erupted, a large round fired at him. The vampire managed to catch the mortar, but the round exploded in his hands and chest and blasted him over the front of the car. The Steel Overseer ran him over without a second thought, but the ride wasn't over. Several more vampires sprinted into view from the trees, attempting to catch the vehicle on foot. Other vampires were more sensible, jumping from the trees onto the top. Serban spun her turret around, shooting the vampires off the car and trying to get the running ones to back off.
xxxxxSHINK!
xxxxxThe vampires were shooting their metal fingers at the vehicle, the spikes embedding themselves through the multilayered holes. Serban dodged a few that were aimed at her head and continued to fire into the crowd. "Break left!" she shouted to the Steel Overseer. Without a moment's hesitation, the driver took a sharp left turn into the trees, dodging and weaving in between the trees. While the vampires may have an advantage in the trees, at least the group would be harder to target.

xxxxxThe Steel Overseer frantically calculated out a predicted path through the trees, even as the vehicle screamed around trunk after trunk, thick metal spikes protruding from them as they passed from the vampires' missed shots. "Serban," the Overseer called back. "My predicted path indicates that we're about to reach a lake. Recommend changing the vehicle into a boat - "
xxxxxSHINK! "Aaugh!" A bloody metal spike appeared mere inches from Lumis's left ear.
xxxxx"Master!" the Steel Overseer shouted. In a moment, he had left the wheel and turned to unpin Serban from her seat. In a moment, the vehicle drifted off of the predicted path, which had accounted for a fallen log in the straight path to the lake. In a moment, the vehicle had flipped into the air and was spinning wildly, flinging Lumis into the lake as the mass of metal was caught in between two trees. The Red Wing vampires surrounded the car in a writhing mass of bodies, and Serban and the Steel Overseer disappeared from sight.

xxxxxNowe looked out over the lake to where Lumis had landed. Smiling, he waited for the mass of vampires to disperse, taking the two targets to Baston, then nodded his head towards the lake and walked away. Lumis was not his problem, nor was she a target. He had no reason to interact with her. He passed by a tree trunk out of sight, and was gone.

xxxxxMilo nodded slowly to Jodan and Aliyah. "I suppose this is goodbye, then," he said, straightening up as best he could. He took his two daggers from Jodan. "Sorry it ends like this." He bowed out, then turned and began limping towards Baston. When he was a hill away, he turned to look back at the two, amazed that he had survived such an ordeal with them. Maybe he'd look them up again when he got the chance -
xxxxxA presence nearby. Someone was waiting for him.

xxxxxCaim stood before Milo, Angelus right behind him. The Templar hadn't sensed their approach, but it was obvious from the look on his face that he had completed his mission. He didn't say anything, not when Milo tried to inform him of what he already knew, nor when he vouched for the people on the other side of the hill that had assisted him. Instead, he turned away from Milo and waited. Scowling but otherwise willing to take the ride, Milo hopped onto a growling Angelus's back. Caim mounted his pact partner, allowed Milo one last look at Jodan and Aliyah, then took off for Baston.

xxxxxElbrus looked down at his body, and saw that he had changed. He was at full power once more. A deep laugh burst from within, his laughter echoing throughout the sewers and vibrating throughout Maldria. Everyone who listened could hear his declaration of war: "The price is paid! The power is mine!"
xxxxxElbrus, the Archdemon of Greed, sneered at the final barriers set up by Natrium. They were formidable indeed, as was any magic by someone who was ready to die. He soared around the large pit as Horrin and Phelan had their final exchange, racking his brain. He did not spend hundreds of years trapped in a binding blade just to be freed within a large cage. Elbrus fired blast after blast of dark magic at the barriers, which deflected the blasts back into the surrounding walls and threatened to collapse the entire pit onto Horrin and himself. How were they going to get out of there?

xxxxxNier stood at the town square in East Maldria, unruly mobs surrounding him from all sides but not attacking due to the ring of Red Wing vampires that kept them at bay. He could sense Elbrus and his pact partner far, far below. He looked to see Phelan climbing the stairs towards Hiyama, Cairalei, and Amara, far away. Everything was in place. There was only one more thing for him to do.
xxxxxNier held one armored hand in the air, and Grimoire Weiss obeyed. The enchanted grimoire flew into the sky as a massive, clawed, purple hand was conjured from thin air. The hand flexed, then slammed down against the ground, the claws burrowing deep into the ground and penetrating the pit below. Nier controlled the conjured hand with his own, motioning for the large hand to rip the ground away. The large chunk of earth was raised into the air, and with one motion, Nier hurled the earth at Hiyama, Amara, Cairalei, and Phelan.
xxxxxFrom the opening into the pit emerged jet black energy in a geyser. Elbrus shot up through the geyser, Horrin safely on his back, and landed above the opening. Nier stood motionless and undaunted by the archdemon, even as it leaned towards him and sniffed him curiously. Rather than say anything or react, Nier simply turned to look towards Cairalei, Hiyama, Amara, and Phelan. Elbrus followed his gaze towards the trio, then grinned darkly. As the archdemon straightened up, Nier turned to leave and motioned to his Red Wing brethren, the augmented vampires following suit. The vampires all left Maldria to their fate, departing for Baston.

xxxxxLiam broke eye contact with Ichka and caught Zeus's glare. He smirked and walked over to her, then patted her on the shoulder. "Don't you worry," he said.
xxxxx"That carefree attitude is the reason I worry," Zeus replied. Before she could say any more, however, a sudden unnatural gust of wind caught her attention. She shoved Liam towards Ichka and Gurkiran; moments later, several white illusions armed with swords struck down where the couple had been standing, as Zeus had also moved out of the way. The illusions were coming from an unfamiliar woman several feet away. Zeus hadn't noticed her arrival, so likely neither had Liam.

xxxxxZero watched the famed couple, the Northstars, the Heroes of Altmen, barely dodge her conjured strikes, and in that moment she knew - she could take them on. She looked at the two other people, deemed them as unnecessary, and conjured more illusions to attack them. Her efforts were thwarted when Liam blocked their weapons and burned them away, and Zero's own sword clashed against Liam's claws. Zeus was in between them in a moment, her thunder sword skirting against Zero's clothing as she barely managed a dodge. Hmm, maybe they would take more time than initially planned. Either way, they had to be taken to Baston. Zero jumped into the air and landed on Mikhail, which appeared from the aether around Dragon Castle. Large numbers of Red Wing vampires dropped down from Mikhail's claws, armed with sharp metal spikes and gauntlets. Liam and Zeus turned towards Ichka and Gurkiran with one final glance, then made a mad dash for the exit, the vampires in pursuit. Zero followed closely behind, hounding the couple and directing them towards Baston until all was out of Ichka and Gurkiran's sight.

"Listen, Before you protest, I need you to know-" Feeling a strange aura from close by, Cairalei stopped in mid sentence to figure out where this sensation was coming from. She looked past Hiyama, and then Amara, but saw nothing as of yet. Furrowing her brows, she stood straight, with her guard fully up, her ears open to the sound around her. At first, it was eerie with how still the wind was. Her eyes darted left to right, looking for the source of this disturbance.

However, taking a sharp inhale, she quickly widen her eyes as she heard what sounded like a tare in dimensions. Something was being summoned, no conjured? She quickly look to the sky and saw what had manifested before them. Who is that!? She frantically thought to herself. But whoever this comer was, was to far in the sky to even see. But the next thing she knows, the thing he or she summoned came crashing towards them, creating a jet black energy of a geyser.

Before such destruction would reach them, Cairalei bit her thumb, drawing blood, and summoned a barrier made from her own source. Dark forbidde3n magic, that no doubt is with the origin of whoever this new comer is....this Elbrus....Once the calamity past, Out shot the demon himself from the opening that the other stranger created. The young elf, wide eye, watch him closely. In this instance, it felt as though time had stopped just for her eyes to meet with his. "Elbrus..." She moaned, and quickly felt her body aching.

Snapping back out of this trance, she dismissed the blood barrier, and held herself, as though she had just bee violated, and in a sense, using hat magic was making her feel as such. It is an unearthed, dark, forbidden magic, that she regrets ever being cursed with. She still is on the hunt for it's origin.....and this just might be her answer.....still....She quickly turned to the other two with worried eyes. "Are you alright Sir Hiyama? Are you hurt?" She already, more than likely ruined her chances with him by far.

Hiyama let out a sigh. Of course she was going to object. He shook his head. “Very well then… But you will have to get out of these should you feel a change.” He spoke, eyeing Amara for a moment. He could see her determination. If she is that confident, then perhaps he shouldn’t worry so much. But at the same time, he would hate to have to deal with that again, along with dealing with that ravenous demon. Two demons at once would be rather troublesome, even for someone such as himself.

Then his attention was redirected. “You…” He said as he came face to face with that elf woman again. His brow twitched in irritation. “And here I thought you already left.” He growled. Then he heard what she said, and he shook his head again. Great, now he has another person tagging along. Before he said anything however, he noticed movement not too far from them. Stepping into the light, was the young man he had met early in the day. He seemed worn out, and filthy. His face turned to one of disgust at the sight. The man had collapsed, and was reaching for his foot. But Hiyama took a step back, not wanting that filthy sludge come into contact with him. “Phelan? What happened?” He demanded, kneeling down with his hand hovering over the young mage’s back. Flames emerged around his palm, slowly spreading over Phelan, engulfing his being. However, the flames were not burning him, but Phelan would feel a soothing warmth, and his fatigue going away. Not only this, but any wounds the man had would heal.

Hiyama would love to burn away the sludge that covered Phelan’s body, but he did not want to risk burning him. As soon as he was finished, the flames vanished, and waited for Phelan when he was ready to get up. “Phelan… What ha-“ He tried to ask again, but was interrupted when he noticed something emerging in the air. A giant purple hand was reaching down towards the ground. He could feel the ground tremble as the massive thing heaved up the ground, snatching it up into the air. As soon as the hand rose up with the chunk of earth, a black mass of energy emerged from the newly formed hole. That feeling he felt earlier was much stronger now. He grit his teeth. He was too late in locating that demon before he could come out into the open. He had hoped he could find him and take him down in a secluded area. But now it seems the battle agaisnt that demon will be taken within the city above ground. Then he watched as the massive hand chucked the chunk of earth towards them. Hiyama took his stance, ready to defend against it. However, the female elf had reacted a bit faster.

He watched as she bit her thumb, and created a barrier using the blood from the tiny wound. Blood magic. He wondered if she possessed any sort of abilities. He was going to have to ask her about it later. But for now, they had to focus on what’s happening. The chunk of earth slammed in Cairalai’s barrier, carcking upon impact. Hiyama reacted instantly, flames emerging from the ground around him, whipping out towards the earth and enveloping it, breaking it down into small chunks and bringing them down towards the ground. He glanced at the female elf when she asked if he was alright. “I am fine.” His replied, eyes glaring at the demon that hovered in the night sky. The flames that surrounded him became more intense, expanding outward in a spiral pattern, expanding out over the city of Maldria. He held up his right hand, the flamings swirling into his palm. The flames expanded out, taking a rod-like shape. His hand closed grasped the object that was forming into his palm, the flames dispersing to reveal a staff that appeared to be carved from a red wood tree. The staff had a slight curve along it, the head of the staff taking the shape of a dragons head pointing out. clenched in the dragon’s jaw was a bright red orb that shimmered with energy. The bottom of the staff tapered into an arrow point. This was the staff that Hiyama was gifted when he agreed to serve the Guardians. He quickly crouched down, the earth around his feet caving in slightly. Then the earth around him rose up as he began to rise up, being pushed upwards into the air as he used his powerful legs to propel himself.. Almost as if the ground had pushed him up.

The chunks of earth that he had engulfed in flames rose up into the sky, surrounding him. the flames that surrounded him held him up in the air. He was now close enough to see Elbrus, and to see that someone was on the demon’s back. HIs blood began to boil with rage. “HORRIN!” He shouted. “What the hell do you think you doing!?” He demanded. He could feel there was some sort of connection between the warlock and demon. Like they had formed some sort of contract. If that was the case, then that means Horrin has made himself an enemy of Dragon Castle. “Surrender yourself now!” He moved his staff in front of him, holding it firming with both hands, pointing it at the pair before him. “Or be prepared to fight!” He shouted as three of the flaming rocks firing off towards them, moving like they were tiny meteors.

As Horrin glanced upon the underlings down below, riding upon this great demon, he realizes that this was he was dreaming about his entire career. The feeling of superiority and finally evoking his feeling of superciliousness. This is what he wanted. However, it did not give him any sort of satisfaction or fulfillment. The death of Natrium plagued his mind still, and it was eating away at him. Slowly consuming him like an emotional cancer and Horrin is very aware of this. At this point, there is no going back. He sealed his fate, and he plans on seeing this to the end.

Sizing up his potential threats with a face void of any expression, his eyes peered to each of them. Horrin was not impressed. Although, there was one individual that he could see being a problem - Hiyama. The one who was wary of him from the start, and he had every right to have those feelings. His assumptions and suspicions of Horrin were accurate. He he was, threatening the lives of the entire world, above the very castle Hiyama very much adores. It was done. They were officially enemies.

Hiyama attempts to rationalize the reasoning behind Horrin's actions, in which Horrin agrees to satisfy him with a reply. "What am I doing? I am doing what I was meant to do... Displaying my power that deserves recognition. Throughout my life, I have crawled through needles and worked myself dry in order to achieve the skill I have now. I deserve everything, so I will take everything. Do not get in my way. That goes for all your residences as well, unless they want their souls sucked from their very bodies and suffer in the fires of the Netherworld for all eternity."

As his statement closes, Hiyama launches three ignited blasts in his direction. In response, Horrin glows green with energy, but then it evolves into a more intense shade of black as he gains power from Elbrus, and fires three black lightning blasts that utterly disintegrate the attack and negates any damage. Upon using this effect, Horrin can be seen physically wince and crumple. It seems that using the power from Elbrus had an side-effect. Horrin's eyes begin to strain, and this unnatural feeling of hate welled up inside of him. "UGGHHHH! YOUR TIME WILL COME HIYAMA! YOU HEAR ME!? YOUR FATE IS SEALED TO A LIFE OF ENDLESS TORTURE!!" He screams with sincere and pure hatred.

He did not want to overstay his welcome. Horrin then commands Elbrus to retreat, he did not intend to end up back at the castle. The time has come. It is now appropriate for Horrin to finally achieve all that he desired. Playing with these individuals will only waste time. With that in mind, Elbrus turns away from Dragon Castle's defenders, and flies south, with a determined Horrin on his back.
