Wow, I used to think that the people who say "nei" in Cantonese was just mispronouncing it. This shows how much this dialect has evolved. Everywhere I have heard "lei". biggrin

i'd rather stick to the traditional way of saying it ^^ It's not really evolution.. It's the fact that people are so used to talking so fast, that they mispronounce the words, and can sometimes change it to something that no one's heard of before... xd

Or.. It's that the parents learned it wrong, and passed it down to the kids. That happens too.

People should look up dictionaries more often.

It's Chi Saw. Or you could just use Sai Sou Gan (洗手間) --> (hand washing room xd )

Ah so! The old Sai Sou Gan, nearly forgot that one. I gotta watch more chinese soaps, lol xd I wish I could read and write chinese, but for now, phonetic chinese won't go amiss ~ doh jeh, ham sup loaw whee
