Following the two quietly, Kuroi smiled to herself.



Quickening his pace, Roxas soon met up with Hayner who gave happy greeting. Roxas was silent wile Hayner told him things that had happened wile he was away.

"It's good that your back, I guess thats two people in one day. How lucky!"

"Two?"

He nodded as a response followed by the story of how another friend had arrived earlier on. "Yeah, She's staying with Olete at the moment. ."

"What did she look like?" It felt odd to be interrogating him like this.

Hayner went on to briefly describe key features.

"I see! Thanks." Roxas replied with a nod.

Axel looked up at the window, sure that Maya was there. But there was only one way to really find out. He summoned an Assassin and sent it up to the window, hoping Maya's get his signal.

"So, Olete, do you have a special someone?" Maya asked with a sly grin.

"N-no! Of course not!"

"Really? I'm guessing it's either Hayner or Pence!"

"What!? No!"

"...Hayner...."

"No!!!" Olete was shaking her head furiously and Mata laughed, knowing she had struck a nerve.

Maya looked out the window...and saw a shadow. It wasn't human but it looked familiar she subtle went over to the window and opened it, pretending to need fresh air. In front of her was an Assassin. She looked down and saw Axel looking back up at her. She sighed sadly.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing! Sorry!" She sent a bumble down, letting Axel know she was there.

Roxas explained that he had to get going, and that maybe he'd come back later. He has something to finish first. He went off to find Maya.

Kuroi laughed. "No need to hide it really~." She stuck out her tounge playfully as she turned to watch Maya as she went to the window. "Hm?"

Maya sighed and hung her head. "Kuroi....I think we'll be leaving sooner than we thought...."

Axel then portaled into the room.

Olete stood up and stared at him. "You! You're the one who kidnapped Kairi before! What are you doing here?!?!?" Olete yelled at him.

"Woah, little girl. I'm just here to get Maya back."

"No! Why do you want her?! WHat are you gonig to do to her?!?!"

"Olete....It's okay...He's here to take me home..."

"Home...? You live with him?"

"Yeah...Him and a lot others. So, Axel, why do I have to go home with you?"

"Well, y'see....it's Demyx...."

"Hmm?" Kuroi gave a confused look, but then understood as Axel arrived. She stood up and looked back at Maya.

Roxas had finally made it to the house, standing outside he looked up at it. "I wonder is he made it too." He said quietly to himself. He didn't like just appearing somewhere, but it was the only option. Roxas sighed as he created a portal and entered the room. Briefly looking around and until he spotted Maya, and then Axel.

Axel looked at Roxas as he appeared. "Roxas, tell her... about Demyx...."

"What happened with him?! Is he okay...?" Maya asked, really worried.

Olete looked at Maya. "Wait, isn't Demyx the guy you like....?"

Maya nodded sadly and looked at Roxas. "What happened...Roxas?"

Roxas frowned. "He took what you said before you left harshly. And. . He's very depressed at the moment. I don't even think he's moved since you left."

"Oh no." Kuroi looked away.

"Wh-what?!" She grabbed onto Roxas's coat, looking him in the eye. her eyes were wide and slightly teary. "Are you serious?! Why did you leave him behind then?!"

Olete was silent, not sure how to deal with the scene unfolding in her own room.

"Olete? is everything okay in there?" Olete's mother said knocking on the door.

"Y-yeah mom!"

"I hear boys in there! Are there boys in there?"

"No, Mrs. Olete's mom! It's the TV!!!" Maya called out to Olete's mom, not letting go of Roxas or even looking away.

"Oh, okay. Tell me if you need anything!"

"Okay, mom...."

"W-well we had to come look for you." He replied, hoping she would let go. "The sooner we bring you back the better."

Kuroi watched and listened closely to the current situation.

Maya let go of Roxas and fell to her knees. "So....He's still back there....alone...." Maya sighed, covering her eyes with her hand. "Let's....go back...."

"But Maya....you're leaving so soon?" Olete asked, not even really realizing Roxas was there.

"Yes...sorry....he needs me....I'll be back soon, though. Promise..."

"Okay....And bring Roxas back with you!" Olete smiled at them both.

"Okay, will do." Maya smiled slightly and turned to Axel and Roxas. "Okay, let's go home!" Maya created a portal and dragged Kuroi along.

Roxas nodded, and waved goodbye to Olete. "Yeah, I'll be back sometime." Soon after, he made his way through the portal.

She waved as Maya pulled her though. "I hope every things okay."

Maya nodded slowly. "Me too..." They exited the portal and Maya saw Demyx sitting in a little ball on the couch. Everyone else went silent as she entered the room. Demyx looked up at the sudden silence and looked at Maya.

"Maya....You....came back....."

"Yeah, I did." She smiled at him. "Axel and Roxas found me and told me about you... I had to come and see you..."

"You said to leave you alone...."

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I was just mad at Xemnas...I didn't mean anything I said..."

"...really...?"

"Yes, really. I could never mean it...especially about you, Demy...I....I..." Maya blushed, looking down at her folded hands. "I...love you..."

"Maya.....I...love you, too....." He hugged her

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!" Everyone in the room said in unison.

Maya blushed and covered her face and Demyx continued to hug her.

"That's sweet." He said quietly, "Good thing we did bring her back."

Axel nodded. "Yeah, now he won't be depressed anymore....We did good."

Maya pushed Demyx away, not roughly, but trying to pull out of his hug, blushing like mad.

He wouldn't let her go.

"D-Demy! Everyone's watching!!!"

"I don't care!"

Maya continued blushing. "Kuroi! Help me!!!"
