l-Kathulu-l Zephyrkitty Tatsuman I'm sorry, but how the ******** can ToS2 be worse than ToS?
All the Tales games are basically the same anyway, so how do you screw that up? xP
Then again, Sonic managed, so eh. Sequels are usually worse than the original. That said, I haven't played ToS2 yet. TOS2 isnt nearly as long, or enthralling as the first. You can only play with 2 characters, unless someone from the 1st game joins your party, only to leave 7 minutes later. Not much to do, easily powered over the last few bosses. Emil is a whiny b***h, so meh. I'll still play it because I liked the first one, but I haven't heard much that's good about Emil. And tell me the characters give you your stuff back when they leave. gonk

Muh... being the tech brain in the family is inconvenient. Always asking me to fix things.
And as far as ToS 2 goes, Kath nailed most of it. Length and playability are only a fraction of the original ToS. Another complaint is the overworld travel has been demoted to FF:TA style; point and click. And even though the Symphonian 8 join at intervals, player one cannot play as them. Only player 2-4 can be a chara from ToS 1.
On the bright side, the pet system is really deep. It really gives a sense of customization. Yu can also free run in battle now as well so moving is easier. And Gladisheim beats the crap out of the Underworld in terms of difficulty and fun as a side dungeon.
Edit: The Symphonian 8 have set levels and EQ, so yu won't gain or lose anything from them. Downside: by the end of the game, their level cap is only 50, so Gladisheim isn't an option for them.

Betman Tatsuman Betman l-Kathulu-l Owwin The question is, why watch Drawn Together? I would rather bite my own eyeball. That show is funnier than the Colbert Report and South Park combined.
@Tats: I liked the story to ToS.
Yeah, that's pretty messed up.
I actually did too. I loved ToS. I'm just wondering how they can ******** up the very simple formula involved in making a good Tales game.
It's like making an FF game minus drama and plus a decent battle system.
Wtf is wrong with my posting s**tAll my friends said FFXII was great.
Even the FF fantard/purists.
