@Tats: I liked the story to ToS.
Yeah, that's pretty messed up.
I actually did too. I loved ToS. I'm just wondering how they can ******** up the very simple formula involved in making a good Tales game.
It's like making an FF game minus drama and plus a decent battle system.
Wtf is wrong with my posting s**tAll my friends said FFXII was great.
Even the FF fantard/purists.
It was the first one I ever bought, and I was like FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

All the Tales games are basically the same anyway, so how do you screw that up? xP
Then again, Sonic managed, so eh. Sequels are usually worse than the original. That said, I haven't played ToS2 yet. TOS2 isnt nearly as long, or enthralling as the first. You can only play with 2 characters, unless someone from the 1st game joins your party, only to leave 7 minutes later. Not much to do, easily powered over the last few bosses. Emil is a whiny b***h, so meh. I'll still play it because I liked the first one, but I haven't heard much that's good about Emil. And tell me the characters give you your stuff back when they leave. gonk They won't steal my equipment. Good. Why do I suddenly feel like I'll end up screaming at Raine to heal everyone and she won't do it?

It was the first one I ever bought, and I was like FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUThe only problem I heard was that if you got your party leveled decently, it would pretty much play itself with the right settings. So it's pretty much like any FF game anyway.
As for ToS2, I'm going to play it. I still don't think it can be bad enough to be horrible, but eh.
Also, FFX is one of my favorite FF games.

His first appearance in the story STILL makes me laugh, even though I've seen it like 6 times.
