Timothy went to his table and sat down. He slid his chair up, then placed his silverware to the left of his empty plate. From his fingertips formed crackling strands of electricity which enveloped the panhandles of the skillets on the stove. He brough each of them over to himself, then without touching his silverware, he placed his food onto his plate using them. Thinking nothing of it all, he then placed the pans into the sink to be washed later on. Before placing a forkful of eggs into his mouth, he answered the emerald skinned woman before him. "Well, you do help around the villa. I'd say I like your company for that aspect. Probably nothing more." Timothy once again replied bluntly, not meaning any harm in his statement. Taking another bit of his scrambled eggs, he looked over at Sabrina and pointed to his eggs with his fork. "I didn't expect my cooking to turn out as good as it did. Anyway, I wouldn't let you sleep on the ground in all good conscience. Your a Herald and you're my...friend. If I had only one bed left, you'd be sleeping in it. No if, ands or buts."

~~~
"Thank you." With his telekinesis, Roulin poured the syrup over his pancakes, then sat it down on the side midway between the two. Roulin looked over to the waiter who was still on the ground behind Cecilia. Finally, he showed some life. Roulin didn't express his relief at the man's survival of his attack. The last thing he needed was to be on the lam because he killed a human. "Neither has it disappointed me. Today was just not a lucky day for either us or this guy. Dude, if you want, I can heal you, but I need you to promise to just take our orders okay? I'm a telepath so I can easily...between you and I, I can wiped these people's minds. You'll keep your job and we'll be full. Sound like a plan?" Roulin negotiated with the ailing gentleman on the floor. "And yeah, Nik will probably be whisking us away soon. At least I get to fight against a Herald. I want to see if I've got it in me take one down."
The waiter sat up and rubbed his head. He glared in Cecilia and Roulin's direction before attempting to stand, but failing as his injuries were a little too much for him. He hadn't broken any bones, but there were quite a few nasty bruises on his body. Cecilia was both surprised and please with Roulin. Even though the waiter had harassed Cecilia, the young purple eyed Life Owl was still willing to help him with his ailments. "Fine, do whatever the hell you want. But there was no need to overreact like that, man. I was just having some fun with your girl." Truthfully the waiter was well known for coming onto girl regardless of whether or not they were claimed by someone. Cecilia snorted and turned her attention to Roulin. "I'm sure it's possible," Cecilia said taking a bite of her pancakes, practically moaning with pleasure. Followed by a sip of her coffee, it was like pure heaven. "When we all get our own apartment, I will definitely be cooking breakfast for us every morning," she said as she poured a little more syrup over her pancakes. It was amazing that Cecilia did not gain any weight from some of the food she ate. It wasn't so much high metabolism as it was the fact that she stayed in shape.
Roulin didn't give the waiter any attention when he stood up and started to speak again. From the man's voice, he could tell that he was older than him and should know better to say something like that. But, even after being slammed into a wall, he didn't get it. Roulin lowered knife and looked up at the man with an expressionless face. Keeping his eyes locked with the waiter's he pointed at the pancake and began to produce a cut across it's length. The cut was deep enough to slice each pancake through it's center, but not the plate on which they sat. "Alright...bro...if you want me to heal you, I'm going to need a cup of water. Bring me that and I'll pay you the amount of this meal, okay? When I erase the minds of these people, say you fell. Sue this place, get some money and please...learn to appreciate something. I'm sure the manager here has his hands filled with you alone."
Going back to his meal, Roulin continued to slice away at his pancakes. There were eight slices now and his breakfast now resembled a dark, fluffy brown pizza. Sticking his fork into a stack, Roulin replied to Cecilia, "Buona. Non voglio avere a che fare con persone come questo ragazzo più. Il nervo di alcune persone..."
(Translation - Good. I don't want deal with people like him anymore. The nerve of some people...)
The waiter rolled his eyes before he stood up and limped towards the kitchen for a glass of water. Cecilia had already finished off half of her pancakes during that time. Cecilia grimaced when Roulin spoke Italian. She could have kicked herself for not learning the language. She definitely had a lot of free time in the past to learn. But she supposed it was only fair since he most likely couldn't speak her native tongue either. "I have no idea what you just said, but I'm just going nod and pretend that I understand," she said with a light smirk glancing up as the waiter returned with a glass of water and set it on the table rather hard. "Just get on with it," the waiter said impatiently. If he wasn't experiencing quite a bit of discomfort, he would have most likely had the host throw the two out of the restaurant.
Kojiro shook his head,"...Even so..." h mumbled, he listened as she began to speak in what seemed to be a proverb, he felt a slight bit of insight and relief, but confusion none the less. Kojiro looked at her with some disbelief,"...Me?..." he repeated, he shook his head,"...I'm afraid you are mistaken...I am not that powerful...manipulating the weather is like manipulating the entire ocean for me...even in tight situations I tried that...when our lives hung on a distraction for an escape....I could not muster that kind of control over ice..." he explained, unconsciously his eyes were getting heavy and he was loosing coherence, but he still tried to explain himself, denying any responsibility for the weather. Suddenly he remembered the fight in Japan again...
"Raging Sign!....Rising Hyorouga!"
Kojiro remembered the ship being ripped apart by that glacier, he slowly reached for the patch on his eye,"....Maybe its not y emotions I'm losing control of...." he thought to himself, he looked towards Serena he shook his head,"...Like I said...Impossible..." he repeated. Kojiro nodded as she asked him how he was feeling,"...I feel fine..." he mumbled, when she told him what she had done, his mind and body soon recognized the sleeping pills effects,"...Wh...wha?..." his eyes became dull and heavy, but he still tried fighting it, "I don't....I don't want to sleep..." he kept his focus on Serena as her figure slowly blurred and darkened suddenly a slight glimmer appeared in his dull eyes as they slowly closed, "...If....she was just passing by......how did she know who I was with?...." but before he could mull it over, he fell silent into the bed, his hand lightly hanging off over the side.
Roulin had looked into his cup and found that it was empty. Fantastic. Before he could call back to the limping waiter, he already had found himself a nice cup of water. Thankfully, it was warm enough to not give the man chills for the next few days. "Alright...David?" Roulin read from the man's nametag. "David, I need you to lift your arms---" The young healer didn't have the time console or pacify the waiter. If he was to heal him, he needed to do it quickly before he chickened out. The water burst from the cup and went into the man's pores. After entering, Roulin commanded the bubbles of water to lay beneath the man's bruises and massage his muscles has the skin healed. The people in the room gasped and some think that he had killed the man instantly. Looking at the back of the room, Roulin spoke to David. "Alright sir, can you tell these people how you feel? And don't mind the tingling...that's just your muscles being rubbed from the inside."
The waiter, who was known as David seemed to tense up as the water seeped into the pours of his skin. Many of the restaurant patrons were also shocked as well, but a few were in awe of what Roulin was doing. Cecilia's attention had been drawn away from her pancakes so that she could watch what was transpiring. The expression on her face was that of minor interest. She knew that water was a healing substance, but she had never seen it used in this manner. After a few moments of shock, the waiter spoke. "I feel some pressure, but it's not really painful. It's the same pressure that I would experience if someone was just massaging my shoulders." He spoke with loathing in his voice. Even with what Roulin was doing for him, that didn't change a thing between them.
"Good." Roulin replied to the still resentful man. It didn't bother the owl any though. Now within his brother's mindset, he already knew that no one in the restaurant, with the exception of his cerulean partner who watched with dwindling interest, could fight him and win. Roulin was still busy receiving claps from the one guy that had applauded earlier when he realized that something about his morning was different. Besides the animosity that just poured from these people, there was something off with himself. It was probably just the emotions of the people that were getting to him. That, and now keeping his new relationship with Cecilia under wraps. Patting David on his back which he knew was more than just sore, he turned his gaze back to his pancake filled plate and his empty cup. "Alright David my friend. You'll be alright. The next time you pee though, you may be standing for a while. Just a head's up. Now can you get me some more coffee? I'm going to need the energy today."
"Really? I know never to take you to an amusement park then. Riding lightning is way more than speed-running!" Che arose from his kneeled crouch and faced Will's mansion. The place definently beat the look of his house back in Virginia by a long shot. Scoffing at the size of the temple-esque home, Che took a few slow steps forward, then proceeded at a normal pace. Nearing the door, he began to call out through cupped hand, "Baka! I know you're here! Come open the door before I kick it down damn it!"
((TFP---Raven---not a very good post x.x))
The night had been long and painful. Whatever way Raven had tried to lay had caused discomfort. In the end she had given up on sleep and spent the early hours of the morning pouring over maps. By 7am She had taken a break away from map reading to walk the length of the building she had been staying in. When 9am came along, an Owl from Exire had came to inform Raven about the amount of people killed in the fight against the UNS and the Night Owls. The number was less then what she had expected…but a loss was still a loss, no matter the amount. The male Exire Owl had taken Raven to the place where the dead had been laid out for others to identify. The sight was disturbing, so Raven did not linger for too long. Though during the time she was there she had seen both Aaliyah‘s and Nat‘s bodies. A sight she would never forget.
“It must be around 11;30am now.” There was a lot of work going on in the city despite the fight yesterday, the Exire Owls were getting on with things. The French woman was watching the progress from a rooftop. A location she often opted for. It gave the best view. “Hmm..” Reaching into her pocket, Raven pulled out packet of cigarettes. In the past she had smoked, the last time had been a good few years ago…but for some reason, lighting up now seemed like a good idea. She inhaled deeply and pulled a face as the taste of tobacco and the stench filled her being.“Now I remember why I quit.” She did not take another pull, but she did not flick the cigarette away either…She simply sat down and mulled over a few things that were bothering her. Starting with the Heralds.
((TFP---Serena))
Just like serena had planned, Kojiro had slept the night away. Of course, because he had been on the bed, Serena had been reduced to the couch…something she was not too happy about. Nether the less, Serena had gotten some sleep and was up at the crack of dawn. Knowing that the tablets would soon wear off, she figured it would be a good idea to have something hot for the Frozen Owl to eat once he woke up. The choice of food had been limited in the very room…but this was a hotel. So Serena used her initiative and went hunting for the kitchens. She had found enough stock to make a pretty decent breakfast. At first she had attempted in making some sort of Japanese themed breakfast, you know…to soften the kid up towards her. But unfortunately she had failed that…so instead she ended up making scrambled eggs with cheese. “He better be grateful. I hate cooking.” She had also taken the opportunity to grab some tea for herself and juice for Kojiro.
With everything ready and hot, Serena took the long walk back to the hotel room and entered. She placed the food down onto the table and walked into the bedroom. “Still sleeping…” She murmured with a slight twitch of her eyebrow. With a loud sigh she stepped closer to the bed and used a foot to poke Kojro’s side. “Hey, wake up already. Its already 11am! Come on kid I have scrambled egg waiting for you.” If he was going to be hard to wake up, Serena may have to revert back to her old waking up tactic…chucking freezing cold water over the one who you wish to wake….
((UNS---Daryle))
“Waaaake uuuppp!!!!” The cheerful voice first thing in the morning was enough to get anyone up and out of bed. Daryle was skipping down the hallway with a stupid grin on his face. “Annie bear!!! Lets go out for breakfast!!!” The blonde Breezy Owl was not a dab hand in the kitchen, so eating out was the only thing he could come up with that might get Annie and Genya out of bed. “I want to eat a Full Monty!!!” He added while knocking on Annie’s door. “I will come in if you don’t answer me!” He laughed “I will see your body before any other man!!! Hehehe…only joking…though I am really hungry…Annie bear can you feed me?” Daryle Saxton was definitely too energetic first thing in the morning. If Annie wanted any piece of mind she had better wake up and feed Daryle…the guy was like an annoying puppy!
Scythe de Zaran
((UNS - Will))
After a moment or so, Nikolai answered the door. It did not escape Will's notice that the room was completely dark, and the shades were down. "Ah, Nikolai, I do hope you enjoyed your rest. Have you eaten?" Will grinned. "Yes, actually..." He motioned inside the room. "May I? It's about Anya actually. You've been with her for the past year."Will had not spoken to Nik one on one in a private setting beforehand, and if Anya was going to conveniently lock herself in the room he had provided her, then it was completely safe for Will to speak to Nik without Anya's presence. The Satan Owl was not aware of Nik's soon-to-be-happening-mission.
Nikolai tilted his head to the side slightly, a puzzled look on his face and said, "This place is very relaxing, I've got to say. Sure, I don't mind, come on in, it's your mansion after all. Let me just get the lights." Nik moved aside and flipped the light switch, the bulb flicked on and off for a few moments before glowing brightly again. Nik shrugged it off and said, "Old place like this, you should probably replace the wiring soon." Nik danced his way forward into the room, and twirled before fluidly sitting down on the bed across from a chair conveniently placed facing towards the bed. Nik smiled and said, "Yeah, I've been following Anya around for about a year and a half, I met her when she was on her way out of Russia. Just after she cut ties with the UNS. Why, what did you want to talk about?" Nik had stopped bobbing his head, and instead only lightly tapped his foot, he found that, for some reason, people had a hard time talking to him when he danced around.
((UNS - Will))
Will smirked as he entered the room. "Wiring? Oh, it's fine for its purpose and its place in town." Clearly, the mansion in Hobbs End was more one on the older end and not the fanciest looking nor the most extravagant of the places the Satan Owl owned. He took a seat on the chair across from the bed Nikolai was perched upon. "But let's speak in darkness, shall we?" If on cue, the lights flickered off in the room and sent it into the darkness it was in before Will entered. Will hadn't made a movement to turn off the lights, and neither had he used lightning. "For your eyes." The blonde nodded with a grin. He could see perfectly fine.
As to Nikolai's question, Will answered somewhat sarcastically yet with a serious tone (although we'll never know if he means it), "The poor girl's well being. How has she been?" At that moment, Will's ear picked up the sound of a familiar voice. He smiled serenely at Nikolai, expecting an answer. Che could wait. Sebastian could answer the door.
((NPC - Annie/Other - Genya))
Annabelle Balderon was fast asleep and in a happy dream when suddenly--“Waaaake uuuppp!!!!”"...now..wha---OW!" Annie had turned and fallen off the bed. "Ugh....oh, Daryle..." She blinked as she heard Daryle yelling for Annie bear and breakfast and being hungry. Typical Daryle. She glanced at the clock and blinked again. "OMG! How did I sleep so late?!!!" She scurried to get dressed and then answered the door.... shortly after she heard the man and body comment. "Darrrrryle!" SMACK! A pillow smacked Daryle in the face. "Watch your mouth, ducky! Where do you want to go? You and your Brit lingo! A full Monty? Hmm...IHOP?"In any case, Annie was definitely a better cook than the Breezy Owl.
And Genya was fast asleep like a baby, hugging the Demi doll as well, though it sort of fell off the bed sometime during the morning.The Japanese boy was exhausted and in Japan, the time at daytime on the east coast of the U.S., was in the middle of the night in Japan.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:59 am
Nikolai tilted his glasses down when someone shut off the lights, apparently Will knew that much about him, what else did he know? Nik's lips curled into a small smile and he replied, "So you want to know how Anya's been huh? I suppose I can tell you that much and not have her get royally pissed at me. She's been doing well, she's her same old self. You know; stubborn, easily frustrated, the usual." Nik stretched his arms above his head and sighed when he put them back down, smiling lightly before saying, "But you probably know more about her than I do, after all, you've known her for longer, and you have such great connections, you could find out about everything she and I have done together since we met." Nik smirked, he had no doubt that the Satan Owl could have found out whatever he needed to through his various contacts, so why would he bother asking him when he could probably get his info quicker and easier.
((UNS - Will))
Will nodded as Nik expounded on how Anya had been the usual, but then again, Nik didn't know Anya during the UNS years. If there had been a change, it was possible Nik wouldn't know. From Will's past interaction at Che's house with Anya, she didn't seem to have changed either. He smirked as Nik claimed that the blonde knew more about Anya than he did. "Ah, but I thought we could talk about this as civilized men," the devil replied. He shrugged. "Despite what this guy named Suess thinks, there need not be any finger loss involved. A civilized talk, per se." He leaned back in the chair as his arms rested comfortably on the chair arms. "You've personally been with her. Even if I had connections, I'd rather hear it from you. Besides, I'm sure Anya would get royally pissed at us either way." He chuckled lightly. "Now, since she's put up with you for some time, I imagine you're actually friends with her or a stalker she can't leave behind. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt." Will's eyes twinkled as if he was amused. Perhaps, he was. "Or maybe you're romantically involved...."
((NPC---Sebastian))
The morning routine of one particular resident at Hobbs End always went without a hitch. This morning, due to the guests, his usual routine was slightly disrupted…but nothing he couldn’t work with. And then came the loud shouting from outside. Sebastian raised an eyebrow and headed towards the front door. He pulled it open a small way and stared down at a messy haired male and a pretty female. “If you will be so kind as to stop shouting and tell me why you are here” Sebastian had already been informed that more guests may arrive, and he was still going to play the good butler and follow the usual butler type act. “If you will like to step inside, I will show you to the waiting room and have some tea prepared. William will be informed shortly.” Seb pushed the door open and bowed. “Please, right this way.”
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle rubbed his face after being whacked by a pillow, courtesy of Annie Owww..Annie bear I was joking…”A small grin “Besides, if I wanted to see you as god intended I would have done so ages ago! Hehehehe!!!” Knowing it was best to get away from Annie after that little comment, Daryle darted down the hall and then down the stairs.“I want to eat somewhere fun!” He declared loudly. Even though he probably lost all rights to demand after what he had said . “Full Monty baby!” He flopped onto the sofa and grabbed a magazine. “I am ready and waiting. You better not take too long Annie Bear!!!” Daryle pulled a face and jumped up. “Is Genya still asleep?” He raced back upstairs and kept a lookout for an angry Annie before knocking on Genya’s door. “Genya….rise and shine sleeping beauty!!!
((NPC - Annie/Other - Genya))
"Why you!" Before Annie could smack Daryle with the pillow again, the Breezy Owl had breezed away as quickly as he could down the stairs. "Pervert!!! What would Erin think?!!" The blonde sighed as she went back into her room and get ready, shower, brush her teeth, and so on. "The way he says that sounds like a lame more messed up version of Austin Powers....except not as perverted...." the Seeker Owl mumbled in the shower.
Genya was so tired that he was completely passed out and didn't hear the commotion that Daryle caused in the house. Not even the knocking woke Genya up as he snoozed on peacefully like a bear deep in hibernation during the winter.
Annie soon was dressed and ready and was downstairs. She went outside to pick up the newspaper in the lawn in typical casual attire, jeans, a tshirt, and a jacket. In her purse were ear phones, an IPod, and the usual. The newspaper mentioned a bunch of wanted people. Annie raised an eyebrow as she thought she saw a faint image of Genya behind one of the people in the pictures.Something strange....Daryle's story... bah, media....enough strange things have been happening lately. War never meant great communication. "Ah, sunshine!" Annie giggled as she stretched her arms out and sunlight hit her face and then skipped back into the house. And lo and behold, there was a coupon for a special breakfast special at IHOP on this day. "Hmm... IHOP or dim sum...or both....oh, that would be too much!"
