"The child has nearly died on two separate accounts just to protect you. Sure, Kelly is, uh..." Suzy stalled, looking back at the child while she continued to hit her father's face.

"...Rough around the edges, to say the least, but she means well, just as her father does."

"I did not ask them to do anything, nor did I WANT them to. All they are doing is risking their own safety."

"Sometimes, the cry for help doesn't have to be verbalized. Sometimes, it just goes off on it's own."  

[Zahzi]

"And I don't recall ever giving it."

"Hence why you fall under the 'goes off on it's own' category."  

[Zahzi]

"Just leave me alone. You know nothing about me, and neither do they. I just want to be left alone."

"I know if you go out that door you'll die. And everything Kelly did today just to protect you will go down in vain."

"I don't care."

"YOU SHOULD, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!" Suzy barked, turning Jarid around to slap him across the face.

Jarid merely looked away.
"Are you done?"

"Depends. You done on being an ungrateful brat to this family and to God?"  

[Zahzi]

"Don't even bother with that God crap. It'll fall on deaf ears with me. So just let me go and forget you even saw me..."

"God crap? Child, I can understand why your faith may waver, but I assure, this is not crap."

"Waver? There is none to be found."

"Things may be bad now, but I assure, He has a plan." Suzy sighed.

"I don't believe He's involved with everything. I don't think He controls all the things that happen, for He is not cruel enough to leave His people in something like this. I believe He is like... A watchmaker. He creates it, then watches, only interfering in few cases."
