you have an extreemly good tallent for missing my point Rei.
I mean to say is that withough what he was givven from birth Gaara would be nothing,he did nothing to earn what he has and untill he turnes good he abuses it like a spoild brat,which is why I dont respect Gaara untill Naruto sets him streaght.

He wasn't a spoiled brat, far from it. He was just messed up. Naruto might have been the same way if he didn't have Iruka there to help support him. The problem is that Gaara was even MORE hated then Naruto, AND he was betrayed by the ONLY people he trusted. I mean Naruto wasn't burdened with the knowledge that his father put a hit out on him. Gaara was insane...he lost his mind. He couldn't seperate himself from the pain....he had nowhere to turn to....no escape. Thus he took it out on others...so that he could feel relief if they hurt like him or worse. Violence was his way of coping. Besides Gaara would have been COMPLETELY different if he didn't have the demon in him or his mom dying. Then there's the fact that his fashion sense grew worse when he turned good which is totally lame... stare

see I dont know about that insane?
he himself cohearently explaned his way of life,and did so with not even a hint of second though,Im not two familliar with insanity but the,becouse he displayed what seemed like the abilaty to cohearently think Im not convinced he was insane.
but I agree with you on the part of Naruto having it slightly better,which is elaborated upon in the time skip,not a spoiled dont worey.
Basicly Naruto is very angry people think of Gaara as the deamon and he thinks about how much worse it is for him.
it shows a pannle of Naruto all alone as a child and sad,then gaara the same age and scinero,the it showes them again only older Naruto this time with Iruka,and Gaara still alone. and it shows them a third time at thare starting age in the series Naruto with team 7 and Gaara still alone...it made me quite sad.

I think you're mixing insane with stark raving mad. There's different levels of insane...such as Osama. He WAS driven insane...he was no longer driven by rational thought or morals....
