Roulin leaned against the window, catching hs breath. Having Cerbs sitting between the foot long gap didn't help him inhale at all. When the dog finally moved, he had a mind to drop to his knees and thank Noel. Of course, the beast loved him so much, he had to rest it's heads atop his lap. Looking across the table at Cecilia, Roulin sighed, "Thank you Cecilia...I owe you one..." This time, he really did owe the girl. He would never ask for her sustinence, but now wasn't the time to argue about it. Somewhat reluctant, he began to eat what she had left over. When Demios came through the door, that only brought up more eyes. "You're not interrupting anything at all my friend. Just having breakfast with Cecilia and the mutt is all. I'm pretty sure animals aren't allowed in here, but this dog apparently doesn't give a care..."

~~~
"Compliments or not, I'm just glad we're on the same accord here. I'm going to help her the best way I can. I only hope she returns the favor." Soliel replied to the emerald haired girl by his side. Dark red hues shifted to her, and with a smirk, he paused his steps. Right now, Soliel needed a television and if she knew where one was, he'd follow her. "Admiration is always nice. Usually comes with perks. Too bad it's not admiration I'm looking for from her. From you maybe," the volcanic owl added with a smirk. "Alright Lorna. Lead the way. I have a feeling that there's some coverage being done on my island."
~~~

"I don't think you need that collar Bailey. That's what I think." Che said, finally taking his finger from Anya's lips. As he neared the girl, it became apparent that he was almost towering over her. Looking down into her eyes, Che focused on her and her necklace with slight disappointment. "A mere aid you say? You look like a strong girl. Don't you think that with a bit of training, you won't need that ugly little thing?" asked Che as he tugged lightly at the necklace. "It's not an eyesore...not anymore. The older models were trash. I'll give you that Bailey. But think about that training. You shouldn't be wearing that thing because it's only holding you back. And Anya...just eat the food please? It'll help you in the long run...somehow. I don't know. She's nice enough to do all of this so...yeah."

Cecilia's body seized up as Cerberus licked her face leaving a very large trail of saliva across it. She used the napkin to clean her face off and moved over a few inches to allow Demios to sit down next to her since Cerb had taken up the other side of the table where Roulin was sitting. Because she no longer had her pancakes, she could only sip her coffee, but she wasn't complaining. Another waiter, different from David, came by and handed a menu to Demios and even though he gazed at Cerberus disapprovingly, he did not speak a word of complaint, but merely refilled their coffee cups and even poured Demios a cup before he turned and left in order to give Demios some time to think on what he wanted to eat. Cecilia was sure that he would be hungry as well. "Having Cerbs in the apartment is going to be...interesting to say the least."

Lorna felt her cheeks tinge pink as Soliel mentioned wanting admiration from her more than he did Raven. "Well, you already know I admire you," she said winking at him before she began to lead him back towards the hotel. Once they were inside, she opened the elevator for them and brought them up to the room via her abilities. They could have used the stairs, but the elevator was so much faster. Once they reached the room, Lorna stepped in front of him and lightly pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss before she stepped away and smirked. "I figured, we both needed that," she said teasingly before she picked up the remote and turned on the television, tuning it to the news before she sat down on the foot of the bed in order to watch with Soliel.

Even when Che advanced upon her, Bailey stood her ground and looked up at him with a firm and determined expression. "Yes, I could probably take it off any time I want. But do you really think I want to risk more lives? I'm just not ready to remove the collar yet. I would feel more comfortable training with the collar on for a little while before I removed it. Besides, given what's been happening, there hasn't been that much time for training." She was glad when Che's attention was directed towards Anya. "As tempting as it is, I'm not going to force the food down her throat. If she doesn't want to eat, that's her decision." It was easy to see that the young woman standing before her was very stubborn to the point of that she would rather die than accept help from someone she loathed.

Demios smiled as he took a seat next to Cecilia soon the waiter came by and gave him a menu. "Thanks, I'll have a sweat tea and one delux breakfast" He said. He was a bit grossed out when Cerbs licked him, he never was a big fan of being licked by dogs. Soon the waiter returned with Demios's food and drink and he began to eat, he was nice enough to slide Cerbs his pancakes before he quickly ate the rest. He felt like it had been forever since he had ate a decent meal. Once he finished eating he looked at Roulin and Cecilia "So any idea when we get to help Sydney?" He asked. He thought about it for a second "You know getting a few heralds on our side might be useful, after all the more help the better" He said.

Anya had been about to reply to Bailey when someone stepped in and put his finger to her mouth to keep her from speaking. At first reaction, she thought it was Will, but then she immediately recognized the voice as Che's. Anya scowled a little before slapping Che's hand away from her face. "Shut up, Che!" she growled. "I can eat that food when I want to, dammit." The Poison Owl did not like the fact that Che just decided to interrupt a conversation that should not concern him at all. "Why don't you go bother Will, Che? This is between me and Bailey, and has nothing to do with you." She stepped out of her room and shoved Che away from Bailey, basically protecting the younger Owl from Che for the time being. "Isn't that why you're even here right now, Che? To annoy Will? If so, then go do your own thing and leave Bailey alone. She doesn't want your help or training right now, so go away." Anya spoke sternly and bluntly. She was in no mood to deal with Che and his contrary nature right now. Fortunately, she was much more able to tolerate Che than she was able to do with Will, despite Will having been the one to train Che in the first place.

Kate let Che wander off upstairs to where a commotion was being made thanks to Bailey and Anya and now Che too. The Eternity Owl made her way further intot eh living room where she found Johan Liebert sitting in one of the chairs, reading a book. However, Kate did not address the Mirroring Owl at all and simply sat down on one of the couches in the room to wait.

Johan on the other hand, was finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on reading with the commotion echoing from upstairs. He frowned ever so slightly and closed the book with one hand, making a muffled popping sound. "What one earth is their problem?" he muttered to himself as he got to his feet. He passed by Kate without saying a word to her and headed upstairs where he found Anya, Bailey, and Che in a small confrontation. "What seems to be the problem here? Can there never be a moment's peace in any house?" he asked aloud, trying to catch everyone's attention and divert it away from the argument he felt was happening. He noted Anya's stance between Che and Bailey but said nothing about it. His gray eyes narrowed a little bit. "Che. What's going on here?"

Kojiro's dreams were cut short as he sprung up,"Cold!!" he yelped as the ice user was caught offguard. Ironically enough, despite the fact that he controlled Ice, clearly much colder than most water, he was only able to withstand the freezing temperatures while he was controlling it, let alone the simple feeling of water around Kojiro made him feel as though he was drowning, he lunged over and grabbed the closest thing to him. Sopping wet in cold water, Kojiro accidentally grabbed and clung to Serena, he felt something soft in his arms, he looked up to realize he was not holding on to a post of a dock,"...Serena-sama....g-g-gomen..." he sputtered as he had realized what he had done.

"No time for training huh? I don't think you've met my good friend Noel. Anyway, yes Anya, I am here to see Will, but he's currently with another patient at the moment." Che retorted to the loudmouth woman with a smirk. Shrugging his shoulders, he passed by the two ladies and headed toward Johan. Of course, he could see the resemblance between Anya and the veteran, but he didn't bother to point it out. Not yet anyway. "Nothing Johan! Honest! Geez man, I see you're still as stoic as ever. You know, I've fought in about two wars and I'm still happy go lucky. You became all grizzled...why is that?"

~~~
Soliel entered the room, taking a glance at himself in the mirror. Upon his face a light smile, something that usually could not break through his stone expression. When Lorna, walked before him and kissed him, his smile widened. "The longer I'm with you, the more I feel at home." And with that, when she made her way to the bed, Soliel eyed her. Her figure, this time, actually stood out and him noticing brought a slight tinge of red to his cheeks. When the television fizzled to life, Soliel turned to it. Still standing, he watched the live coverage of what was going on on both the old island of Exire and South America. Two more screens depicting other areas were at the bottom below the channels ticker. There was a government investigation going on on Exire and in South America, there was a revolution taking place. "It's about time...the efforts of Raven and everyone here have put sparks into the hearts of our kind. They're actually standing up for themselves now..."
~~~

"I have no clue when Nik is going to drop in. I learned that I can't call anyone anymore so getting into contact with him...well, I have Will I suppose..." Roulin contemplated in response to Demios's question. After putting away half of what Cecilia gave him, Roulin began to empty packet after packet of sugar into his now light brown coffee. "Interesting you say? It's going to be a pain is what it is...and you missed...a little bit. On your cheek."

"Well, you're part of the family now. Of course we'd want you to feel at home," she said with a warm smile before she turned her head towards the news, listening to what the news achor had to say about both the fallen island of Exire and South America. Her smile widened when she heard the mention of a revolution taking place. She nodded in agreement with Soliel. "It makes me feel good to know that our kind are finally fighting for freedom now instead of cowering away. This world was created for Owls and Owls alone. The humans have done nothing but cause it pain and suffering. It's about time we took our rightful place above them." Lorna ran her fingers through her silky emerald hair and leaned back onto the palms of her hands. "It seems like everything is going to be all right."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 12:23 am

Lorna's words had flowed softly into one ear and out of the other in a jumbled mess of nothing. The coverage of Exire held too much priority now. He glanced at Lorna who seemed to be on the same accord as her with the revolution that was going on in South America. Brazil was still in tact and Peru was barely holding up. Argentina...cameras couldn't get into the place without the equipment messing up. "Lorna...." Soliel began in his usual stoically calm tone. "I may have to leave. Soon. I have to go back to Exire to see to it that nothing of importance is taken in." In reality, Soliel had to keep the fact that the island was a war machine under wraps for as long as he could. Should the Union find out, they'd come down on all Owls hard. "I apologize for the timing, but it something I should've done last week...hopefully, you understand."

Lorna's spirits rose upon hearing that their kind were finally taking a stand. Yet, her happiness was shortlived when Soliel spoke of leaving. Her smile became a frown as she looked up at him. He was leaving? An expression of misunderstanding touched her pale face and lit her silver eyes. "Y-You're leaving? I don't understand. What if something happens to you while you're gone?" Her misunderstanding expression changed to worry. She knew that Soliel was very strong, but there would always be that chance that he wouldn't come back. Lorna bit her lip and looked down at her lap. She didn't want him to go. What if this would be the last time that she saw him? What if he ran into trouble along the way and didn't come back? She didn't want to think of it, but it was very possible.

"I've trained with my ability for too long. I'll be coming back even if I have to do so as a smoldering pile of magma." Soleil promised Lorna. He didn't want her to fear for his safety especially since her own was safety was what she should be worried about. Still keeping his mind on the news trying to pay as much attention to it as he could, he walked over to Lorna and brought her saddened eyes up to hers by lifting her chin. Her biting her lips gave her even more of a pleading expression. "Listen, I promise I'll be back alright? Hopefully it'll be tomorrow when I return...don't lose hope alright Lorna?" Soliel spoke gradually as if to borrow more time. In his eyes, it was apparent that not even he wanted to embark on this mission. It had to be done though if his plans were to go without a hitch.

The green herald looked at Timothy in silence. She began to cut up her food and enjoy the taste of the food. Things turned out quite well in the kitchen. She took a sip of her juice and looked off into the distance. "It's been a while since we've heard from the other heralds....what are all of them up to?" she asked in a curious tone biting into some more of her food, savoring the delicate taste in her mouth for as long as she could.

Evelynn looked at the two young girls as she smiled. "Okay, the next excercises are mind alteration and using a psionic shield" she said. "Basically mind alteration is to alter someone's will or persepctive, attitudes and personality either temporarily or or permanently...though most psychics can only achieve this temporarily" she said. "Okay girls give it a try"

Elle looked at Evelynn and then looked at her sister. "Ummmm Erin you can go first, I want to make sure that I actually understand the concept" she said to her sister, honestly she wanted to see Erin start initiating actions as well. She waited to see if Erin would succeed in the next excercise.

Lorna was forced to look up when Soliel lifted her chin so that she could look into his eyes. Her eyes glistened with concern. Perhaps she was being selfish, but she didn't want him to leave. Yet, she knew that he also had to if everything was going to go according to plan. Lorna took a deep breath and nodded. She trusted him, and if he said he was going to return without any complications, then he would return. Her lips then curled into a sultry smile as she lifted herself and pressed her lips against his, but this time it wasn't a light kiss. It was a kiss filled with heated passion. As her lips tasted his, she slid her hands underneath his shirt in order to feel the warmth of his skin underneath. It was warmer than a normal person's skin, but it was a warmth that she loved. She wanted to do something that would help him remember her while he was gone.

Timothy's ears pricked up when Sabrina spoke to him. Lowering his cup of orange juice and sighing in slight relaxation, he looked up at her. Keeping his hands busy cutting apart his omelette, the Herald replied, "The only two I truly keep up with is Noah and Adam. Sydney's off being Sydney, Gaeta's a lost cause and Sakura...me and her have never spoken much as my element is far too harmful to her. Ember...we speak every now and then, but it's only during business. She's too busy guzzling alcohol to be worth talking to." Timothy ate two slices of his omelette, then nodded in satisfaction once more. Looking up at the emerald toned herald, he asked her, "You don't try to keep up with alot of them do you? And if you don't mind me asking, what was your non-Herald life like if you still remember."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2011 1:33 am

Sabrina looked at Timothy and smiled. "No not really, I mean just because you do work with people doesn't automatically make them your friends...just people who just so happen to be in the same situation as yourself" she told him. When he asked about her life before she was a herald she stopped eating then took a sip of juice. "Yes I do. I was born in what's now Present day Spain. I had an older brother Pietro, and our father was an ex-minister who was still highly religious" she told him.

"When Pietro was eight, his OWL powers manifested, he could duplicate himself and also control something call negative energy. When my parents discovered this, they began to perform an excorcism...well naturally you know they had failed, so they sent him off to a monastery to live. So naturally I was scared, so I prayed every night that I wasn't touched by the devil like Pietro was" she said stopping as she took another bite to eat and looked at Timothy. Reflecting back, she continued her tail. Anyways as much as I prayed...it didn't help, when I was around twelve a group of bandits tried to rob me and my parents while we were on a mission, and my powers surfaced, impenetrable force fields....thinking that my family would shun me like Pietro, I grew scared but I was confused when they began to treat me like some heaven send" she told him.

"While continuing to help people with my powers and going on missions, people began to see me as a living saint. Of course I didn't mind this kind of title because I was doing God's work" she said to herself. "Well one day Pietro comes back and he kills both of our parents in cold blood....he then turned on me, angry that our parents kept me and loved me like he never was....so we fought, though the battle was hard, I eventually won" she admited. "Evidently he worked for the herald of Earth...who proposed to me his power...which I accepted seeing how I had nothing left...I figured I could help the world by controling Earth" she finished as she took a final drink of her juice.

"Well Sabrina, I'm quite sorry for your loss." Timothy replied after a brief moment of silence. Of course, his monotone caused his phrase to ring out in a manner that would suggest that the herald didn't care, but once again, that wasn't the case. Truthfully, he was disgusted at what Sabrina had just explained to him. After angrily clenching his fists, the microwave behind him shorted out and the light above the stove popped like a popcorn kernel. "Sorry about that...something else I'll have to fix while my old friend is away. Anyway Sabrina, it seems as though your parents were cowards of the highest....or rather lowest caliber. Because their son was born with a mental or physical anomoly, they try to write him off as a demon. And to top that off, the people around the area followed suit. You, Sabrina, are the lucky one in the whole equation. Now, how did it make you feel knowing that there wasn't much you could do to save your brother once everyone shunned him for being perfectly normal?"
