Zephyrkitty Apparently while I was playing Mother 3 I accidentally hit the save state button in chapter 4. Resetting gave me a workaround, I got to chapter 5, and saved early in the chapter. I come back now, and when I tell it to load my most recent game it starts at the save state and resetting gives me save files back in chapter 4. Anyone more experienced with emulators know how to fix this? Also, is there a way to disable save states? I never use them and it's causing me more hassle than help.

Cliff Benoist Looks like I answered my own question. The .vmc file is an xml file with settings in it. You can find the flags for disabling save state in this file. Hope this helps someone. Cliff Benoist I'm apparently not even techy enough to find the .vmc file to begin with. XD

Your guess is as good as mine. I'm wondering if deleting the save state might let me get to my file, but then I have to figure out where the save state is. There's a reason I never used emulators before this... XD

I tried disabling cheats and it seems to have gotten rid of the save state. I'll still have to beat chapter 4 again, though.
