"I would. I see little difference between here and there. Other than an over population and insane people wanting to kill me."

"And what of the people who would throw down their lives for one of their own..?"

"I have yet to see anyone like this. As your psychotic doctor said, the world is selfish. I think he had a heart attack when I passed down to use Slade's freebie."

"That is only how he acts due to his life before, child." King said with a sigh.

"What of Brad? His pet Rud? And Slade?"

"I think Rud sees me as a future meal, Brad's too busy being a jerk, and what about Slade?"

"He has been ordered to keep you safe, so he will."

"Which is why he does other jobs as well."

"Exactly! So even if he were a more social person, he's busy with other jobs!"

"You expect him to be social? Try talking to him, instead of at him."
