Yami nodded in reply.

"Looks like someone doesn't care about his life," Kai said calmly. He headed back towards where he left Rajei and Yami.

Shiro was sitting in the park, calmly.

Kai walked past him calmly, no longer caring about him.

Rajei waited patiently for Kai with Yami back in the alley where he'd left her.

((I'd get on during break tonight but I'm insanely down right now so I might not))

Kai walked up to them, "I'm back," He smiled.

"I wa worried," Rajei said. She went over and hugged him tightly.

Kai looked surprised for a moment, then hugged her back, "I'm here now."

"I'm glad you're back safe," Rajei said. Then she smiled a bit. "I bet you don't have many enemies, do you, Kai?" Rajei said. "You're lucky."

"In a way I'm unlucky," Kai said, "I might not have many enemies, but I also have very few friends," He petted her head.

"But that's not all that bad," Rajei told him. "It's less people that you're close to and less people to betray you. You're safer that way."

"It just gets a little lonely sometimes," Kai said.

"But now you won't be lonely anymore, will you?" Rajei asked. "Because I'm here. We can be friends right? Since we bonded and everything..."

"Of course," Kai said, "We're going to see this through. I'll deal with them if they come back."

"Thank you," Rajei said.

"We have had a bit of an exciting day. Why don't we go back to the inn for the night?" Kai suggested.
