It's good, but I don't considerably like it, Risk. I don't know why but it all seems just a fraction too... erm... overlappy. That's the best I've got.

Yup, hit the nail on the head. All you need is a little more white up top, but the challenge is making sure it's not too top-heavy.

7/10 Your avi seems like it can't make up its mind it clashes a little, and doesn't flow well. And the random light colors at the bottom throw it off a little.
Fudge.
7/10 Your colors match, but the items don't seem to mesh, and they all stand out separately, and that makes it hard on the eyes.

Tonberry Crunch [Don't rate] Would it look better if I made the armor not have the cloak? I think that is part of it. The scarf also bothers me, but I don't know what you can do about that. It just seems to be out of place.
edit : You might want some more gold at the bottom, and maybe some gray, so it isn't all concentrated up on your head.[
