Nikoli runs to catch up with Aislin, as they make their way towards the Academy.
"So... how far is this hellhole, anyways?"  

[Hiraru Sagara]

"We've been walking long enough," Aislin said nodding to the large moutian on the horizon, "So it's just over that little hill, We'll have to stay in the forest surrounding it... Gab, while we're there, your not allowed to read anyone's mind unless I tell you too. There are some very mentally ill people here."

The dragon bobbed his head, his eyes wide and his color paling a little at the thought of what could be wrong with them. (He missed the convo about the disease.)

(the academy isnt surrounded by a city. its on a mountainside, built into the mountain.)

Nikoli narrows his eyes. "That's it? Just walk right in? You mean they don't know you there?"

Aislin grinned, "They've never seen me before... I tended to stay very low key, and avoid working for controlling powers... or royalty after the crown."

Gab circled Aislin's shoulders, "If they knew Aislin was out to kill them, they'd be dead any way."

Nikoli smiles. "Great. Well, I'm new in these parts,myself, so in that case, we should be able to slip in without much trouble. What's the plan then?"
Nikoli was eager to get started, even though a sense of foreboding seemed to overshadow his demeanor.

Aislin shrugged a shoulder, "We're going to have to sleep in the forest a while, and observe their comings and goings, then formulate a plan to get inside... I think that would be the most secure."

Nikoli nods. "Not bad, except how do we ensure security, to make sure we aren't stumbled upon by patrols?"
This wasn't his first rodeo- he'd done this countless times before, but he wanted to see what new things Aislin might offer- he had only so many Mist orbs left- he didn't want to waste them.

Aislin blinked at him, "You can't sleep in a tree?"

Gab's expression mirrored his person's, "What a strange being..."

Nikoli makes a face. "Lady, I don't even have to sleep in this plane of existence if I don't want to. But what I meant was that an experienced patrol isn't going to be fooled by making like a monkey- yahh... forget it."

Aislin's face dropped into an unamused expression, "Okay, What's your suggestion?"

Nikoli shrugged. "Hide in plain sight. You don't see any farms or mill around here, which means that they are resupplied from an external source. We capture a shipment, masquerade as the delivery people, and use that to get in."
He wondered if she'd buy it. It really wasn't a bad plan, but Aislin seemed the type who liked things her way.

Aislin nodded, "Well, there is that, But do you think they would know the delvery people... by face if not name?"

Nikoli scratches his chin. "I suppose, but that's assuming that the people who ship products to the Academy never change, or that the staff only consists of two people for shipping-which seems rather unlikely to me. Regardless, with your experience as an infiltrator, you should be able to weave a decently clever ruse as to why we're the new delivery people."

Vari tilted her head to the side, "The normal guy has fallen into an illness, and you're his cousin filling in... The other man... has disappeared and because you didn't want to leave me on my own so your pregnant wife is traveling with you?"
