-The whole bar suddenly goes black and white like one of those old detective movies-

It began on a cold chilly night.... as cold as a lawyer's soul....

I was just at the bar and grill as always, when I suddenly spotted a man eating a sandvich...

I stared at him.... but I found it hard since his glowing eye was making my eyes hurt...

I was sitting on hte roof of a house, drinking a beer. I saw a midjit staring at a guy with a glowing eye and eating a sandvich. I strapped on my jetpack, which a girl with an ancient lawnmower had given me, took one last gulp of beer, and went zooming on my way.

I heard something... like a dude with a jetpack that a girl with an ancient lawnmover had given him zoom away.... But I knew that was just my imagination...

I continued on...... with my coffee

I spotted a person who's figure reminded me of a person I know..... or "used" to know....

I didn't seem to spot any other soul else besides mine, and hers... and the guy eating the sandvich.... and other idle people.....

I saw the ninja-ish guy staring down yet another person. I dove down from the eagles I had been flying with and prepared to land softly between the two.
Unfortunately the jetpack slipped out of my arms and slammed me into the ground below.
Luckily I was a pixelated cartoon so I only recieved a few scars. Yay scars!

now thats better all clean for now anyway
