(What ever do you mean? I'm not over throwing anyone and on top of that even so it wouldn't be training if we just rolled over. It might seem like I'm fighting being over powered but I'm not in the lease, Khalifa for one isn't no walk in the park and I will make Sebastian work a bit or at least put up a fight but I know full well the purpose of this visit. My apology if I seem like an a**. sweatdrop )
Khalifa Marcellus
Khalifa watched from above as his attack did its job though the only person who seemed to get hit was Noel and he thought she would have dodged it and retaliate for some reason but the unexpected was to be expected in the odd sparring match. Khalifa's orbs continued to glow with that azure gleam as he studied what he could about Sebastian before teleporting back to the ground where he intended to join but for now he would only study them, until Noel came from her hiding place that was since this was an free for all match, or at least he thought it was which is why he attacked them all only moments ago. He had taken in Sebastians advice and said not a word for now, though he was prepared for the worst at all times and was aware of his surroundings, it was something he learned a long time ago being of Owl origin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaylin LaQuiel
Jaylin smirk never left his features as his attention seem to be solely upon Sebastian, he had effectively dodged the concussive energy blades that Khalifa had created and was full aware of the man's location in the air, as well as following him once he had landed upon the ground. He may not seem to be watching everything around his persona but he in fact was and even if he wasn't, his visor was over qualified job. Jaylin listened as Sebastian went on about not always having control, that fact was true and Jaylin knew this all to well but as Sebastian basically said you have to make best with what you have at the time and try to either come out on top or just make it through period. "I know what you mean, but that comes with the Owl territory. Either the humans are coming at you, or another Owl faction is, regardless one can never be to careful so I have learned to watch everything around me and use it to my advantage." He explained, letting Sebastian know that he understood what he meant and then some. He watched as Sebastian sent the blades of energy towards both him and Noel but he was sure Noel could protect herself, she wasn't his leader for nothing and so he gracefully dodged the blades of energy as if walking on air but when Sebastian came from above him, not only did he notice but his visor had given him the heads up and even a few scenarios to deal with it though he often didn't take its advice unless needed and right now wasn't one of them times. Guarding himself with an cross guard the moment the man would touch down upon his gauntlets yet another smirk would appear. Throwing his body forward as if commencing a form of flip he would attempt a kick at the mans back which would make both of the men now airborne several feet above the ground, where Jaylin would continue with a four kick combination coming from the left at the ribs, then the right at the rib, then the left at his head and another from the right. The combination was fierce and it was very fast, you see Jaylin was big on hand to hand combat and naturally didn't always rely on his powers like majority of the Owl population, including those he knew but come to think of it Khalifa was the same way but he chooses to use his abilities so he could better understand them.
((Random Disposable Exire NPC - Fennel))
Fennel winked at Soliel, but then Telaria interrupted with a sarcastic comment. Fennel wasn't offended. This was typical Telaria. He sighed as Telaria removed the armor from a dead soldier and put it on. Fennel did the same for the other soldier's gear, careful to wipe off the blood that had flowed from the dead's wounds. "Right you are, Soliel, and you know it, Tel." He winked at Telaria too as he fitted the suit on himself and then dragged the dead soldier into a thick bush. He watched wordlessly as Soliel burned his shirt and then applied dirt to his person. "Hmm... if you were a girl, Telaria would find you hot and save your from dirt," Fennel commented, attempting to make a joke. He grew serious again as he noticed the two soldiers coming toward them in the distance. "Telaria, quick, hide the other one."
Telaria adjusted her armor before she grabbed the other dead soldier and dragged him into a thick bush with Fennel's dead soldier. Luckily, the two soldiers that were approaching, did not see what was happening for they continued at the same pace, not to mention, they hadn't drawn their weapons yet either. In order to make the effect that Soliel had been captured, look more real, Telaria placed her booted left foot atop Soliel's head and aimed her gun at him. "Gotta make this look real," she said in a low voice towards him beckoning for Fennel to take his position as well. He could think about romance later. This was much more important.
((Random Disposable Exire NPC - Fennel - This is probably the last post I'm making for him, so Mahareshi, feel free to take the Fennel torch.))
Fennel nodded upon hearing Telaria and took a place within a few steps next to Telaria with a gun in his hand directed toward Soliel. "Tough one, eh? But we've got him," Fennel said clearly in a mustered up gruff voice. He searched for handcuffs, but didn't find anything, so this would have to do. "Hands on your head."
Sebastian found himself in a predicament as Jaylin attempted to kick him in his back, holding his hands back, he grabbed the man by his ankles as he through him over his shoulders hanging on to his ankles. As they approached the ground, Sebastian kept his weight on Jaylin's body, hoping that he could keep him as a cushion for the fall. (sorry for the short post)
Soliel fell to the ground with a low grunt after Telaria booted him to the ground. In truth, he was a bit peturbed, but it wasn't enough to make him throw away the mission in retribution. Instead, he opted to say, "Fine...just don't get to into it..." Laying face down against the cold, marshy floor of the forest, Soliel closed his eyes and waited for the two other soldiers to approach.
"What happened here?" Asked the soldier. His voice was low and scathed like grovel across a glass. Obviously, this one was a middle aged man. "I'm guessing this Owl tried something to stupid huh? Oh well, he'll die just like the rest of them. Hold him still for me..."
The male soldier had taken aim with his assault rifle. The small green dot traced the ground ecstatically until meeting with the back of Soliel's head. The hammer of the gun clicked back in preparation to shoot, but just as the soldier squeezed down on the trigger, a column of magma shot up through the ground burning both him and his partner to bones and torn apart flesh. The gun that they held melted into a crude dark liquid. After both the bodies fell to the ground, Soliel removed his arms from the ground and pushed up, removing Telaris's boot from his head. "Hmph. Good acting. Now, I just hope I get to take a shower somewhere in this place...c'mon, let's go. We have to get into the town. My home is in there."
Telaria watched with a malicious smirk as the two soldiers were burned to nothing a la Soliel. She could have made a "fired" joke, but now wasn't the best time. Instead, she followed after Soliel and Fennel. With Fennel's mutation, he could be a brilliant sniper, but it seemed that the Acidic Owl was the sniper of this group, which suited her just fine. "Nah, you don't need a shower," she said playfully, despite the fact that he really did need one, but she wasn't here to judge. "Getting that scroll is the most important thing at the moment," she said. "How far do we have to go exactly?"
He completed his personal mission, he had just hoped for a different outcome, Kojiro clenched his hand into a tight fist,"...No matter what it takes...Nat...Aaliyah...I'll keep going...and If I ever find out who took you from us....I'll rip them apart..." he thought as he kept walking downstairs. Kojiro's mind seemed to finally settle as he reached his destination, however he could not shake his thoughts about the so called 'passerby' Serena was too suspicious,despite her kind, if not unorthodox actions, he could not take any chances. Kojiro tried to clear his cluttered mind once again, but even the snow outside confused him,"...Impossible...I have never been able to control even moderate amounts of ice..." he muttered besides,snow is normal in this area as far as he knew. Finally giving up his attempt at even a glimmer of clarity, he entered their original hiding area, "Raven?...are you alright?" he muttered as he entered cautiously, simply because he agreed to help the Heralds, did not mean he had to trust them. 【 ✘】 ═══════╝
((TFP---Raven))
Two long hours had passed by. Small amounts of progress had been made involving the reconstruction of New York. The basic look had already been drawn up and copied for the Exire Owls to follow. New York was going to be the best looking city in the world there was no doubt about that. A small voice caught Raven‘s attention, she looked up and took note of Kojiro walking forwards. “Lets take a short break…be back here in 15” The Exire Owls with her nodded and stepped out of the office, leaving Kojiro and Raven alone. As soon as the door shut behind the last person, Raven crossed the room and pulled Koji into a tight hug. “Kojiro…How are you feeling..?” It was a stupid question… “I am so sorry…”She whispered while she continued to hug the young Japanese male. “I could not save them…they are gone…both of them…” Raven felt she owed Kojiro some sort of apology and that was why she was speaking from her heart. The Frozen Owl had suffered in the past because of her…and she felt as though he was suffering again because she had not been able to prevent what had happened.
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle posed for random photos and even carefully held up his pancake self for a snap. “Hehehe, not bad Annie. Although, I don’t think a moustache would suit me as much as it suits my deliciously good looking counterpart” He sighed when Annie mentioned the poor and hungry people in Africa “I am sorry Annie bear…I can not eat another bite. Perhaps you can take this food over with you to Africa…oh wait...that wont work.” The blonde male smiled as he watched Genya struggling with the crepe. His mind wondered to Freya and Erin. He was missing them so much…but he would not be seeing them for a while… “Freya would love it here.” He muttered absentmindedly before standing up. “I am going to the bathroom. Wont be two secs.”
The Breezy Owl was not going to the bathroom, instead he snuck to the payment area and had the meal charged on Will’s tab, luckily enough it seemed the Satan Owl had a tab for a lot of things. Daryle smiled and took his time getting back to the table. He watched Annie and Genya and ran a hand through his hair as the longing for home hit hard. “Ah…Don’t tell me I am becoming home sick…I should be ok with all this travelling, I have been doing it long enough..” He rubbed the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath. “One last job and then I want to become a real father and husband…I can work from Spain…” He nodded in determination “I don’t want to miss anymore of Freya’s life, and I want to stick by Erin more closely.” Daryle dropped the train of thought as he took his seat. “How goes the fierce battle with the taco crepe, Genya?”
Sakura huffed at Moli's comment and drenched him in fresh water before he could finish scrubbing, L was also drenched too mostly for bringing such a rude apprentice here. "no one said i was supposed to be joining any sides, i just lived with Ember because my home is simply under water and currently infested by a nasty kracken, disgusting creature" she shuddered collecting her items and straitening some of the furniture and items that had been disorganized thanks to their training. she smiled slightly as L pointed his finger at the young man and watched silently wondering what the boy would do, will he die? that would definitely be one less pain in my neck if he did she thought glancing between the two and sighing, no, L wouldn't chose someone so useless she thought continuing to walk the room and set things back in their place and waiting, if L miss fired or this Moli creature ended up blowing things up she would be pissed if she had to deal with a mess.
Moli cocked a brow to Sakura when she explained her plight. Kraken? A mythical beast was destroying her home? Well, it did explain alot of ships being destroyed and never found again. "Well now, Sakura, that is your problem. Just get Timothy to shock it away for you." L had gave him his command, but the herald in training hadn't listened. Instead, he'd given much of his attention to the Herald of Water he'd already found himself detesting. When the sight of the sparkling around L's finger did make it's way into Moli's vision, he jumped with suprise. In the same moment though, he appeared on the side of the teacher with a finger to the side of his head. After lowering his finger, he bowed to the lazy man apologetically. "Ehh...sorry about that L! It's a reflex I picked up from training with Che so yeah...I'd never shoot you...in the head..."
~~~
"Not far at all." Soliel replied to the impatient gunwoman. There wasn't much forest to get through. Exire's core was a city. Outside of that was a town and outside of that was the forest that wrapped around the entire state-sized island. Thanks to Tel's placement, they weren't far from the city. With a magma covered hand, Soliel puched a hole through one of the two men who stood guard around the forest's edge. Before he could scream out, he was silenced by Soliel's arm melting him in two. Before his partner, a female, could respond and call backup, her body was coated in a thick veil of magma. Both dead and smoldering, the two soldiers were silenced. They both died for nothing.
"Alright you two. We're...we're here..." The simmering owl looked forward into what used to be the town surrounding the heart of Exire. It was like a battlefield. The Owls that were left on the island were almost all but dead. He could hear cries coming from the surrounding area. Knowing that they were alive was only slightly calming. The rage that came with knowing who had caused them such agony was something entirely different. Angrily, he marched forward into the town waving to both Tel and Fenn. They now had a real job to do.

Lyraleian Morgan blinked several times as the woman who had smaked her over the head and taken her bottle dissapeared. for several minutes she just stared at the spot Anya had been seated in waiting for her to show up again before looking to Bailey as she spoke, "you saw her there too right?" she asked pointing at the spot where Anya had been sitting before Nik had pulled her into the shadows. "cause if you didn't see her there must definitely be something wrong with me" she said mostly talking to herself as she looked to the bottle of wine she had picked up and figured she should take the womans advise and stop drinking it. Especially if it was causing hallucinations like that. Bailey scratched her cheek and gazed in calm silence in the direction, which Anya had once been. However, the stubborn and very loudmouthed Poison Owl was now gone. Seeing her disappear made her assume that Nik was the culprit. Her eyes shifted nonchalantly towards Morgan who seemed to be very confused. Bailey didn't blame the poor girl. She was sure that if she was in a house with people who had strange abilities, she would most likely panic a bit as well. With a sigh Bailey spoke. "Yes, she was there. Now I'm not your mother, far from it actually. But I suggest you slow down a bit on the drinking. I don't think Will'll take kindly to you if you drink his stash. They don't call him The Satan Owl for nothing," she said before she walked out of the room in search of a bathroom in which she could take a shower, preferably one that was adjoined to a bedroom that had clothes that would fit her. Telaria walked into the town that had once surrounded the very heart of Exire, her home. Even though she had only left a short time ago, it felt like she had been gone for an eternity. Yet, even in that short time, almost everything had changed. Telaria's heart wrenched as she gazed upon the bloodshed. Even though there were some still left alive, she was torn to see that they were in agony. This was why she hated humans. Was it a sneak attack upon these Owls? It had to be. Humans were cowardly creatures. They would never change. Telaria clenched her fists, but realized that getting angry would not do any good now. They had a mission to complete and the sooner they completed it, the sooner there would be no more suffering for their kind.

L's eyes followed the young man and he sighed. Wasn't Moli the one who had wanted to train. Still the kids reflexes were proving his best attribute might as well focus on that. "Allright Moli, i shall repeat myself...though since i have to do more work, your training gets more difficult." The light teacher hadnt stopped charging his shot and on his count of ten he shot a small ball of light straight into Moli's palm. "I shall explain this one last time. Before you became light rather hap-hazardly. Now you must do it controlled...or you will die, or be maimed. I really dont know how much of a charge that thing has. You and Sakura distracted me a bit. Anyway, that thing will detonate if A- you dont become light, or B- you turn some other part of your body into light. Oh, and as for shooting me in the head, dont worry about it. Your not fast enough yet to kill me...gettin there though" The light man grinned. So he could still summon up is darker side on occasion, or had Will rubbed off on him. He'd decide later.

Nikita Valentin was rummaging through the wreckage of a gun shop in downtown New York, looking for anything remotely salvageable, unfortunately, the only things that she could save were the cash register, a few boxes of ammo, only about half of which was undamaged, and a shotgun with the barrel bent. Sighing, she tossed all the salvaged stuff, minus the cash register (She pocketed the cash) into her bag and slung it over her shoulder, opening the door and walking out into the overcast daylight. She looked around and sighed, trying to get her bearings, she needed to get back to the rest of the Fallen Phoenix, but it was difficult to do so without a map of some kind. Come to think of it, she wasn't the one with the map, her brother was, and he was next door, in the book store looking around. She sighed again and walked over to the book store, kicking an abandoned car that was in her way a block or two down the road as she did. She opened the door, and called into the shop, "Neah! I'm done over here, hurry your a** up! We don't have all day to read poetry." Nika waited for a minute before calling out to her brother again, "Neah, I'm not kidding, you've got about ten seconds before I tear this shop apart and drag you out by your hair." It stood to reason that Nika was in a relatively bad mood this morning, she had woken up late, and her scavenging didn't go as well as she hoped it would. She had to pick the one gun store on the whole of New York that had absolutely zero worthwhile things inside. She didn't need to count down from ten, she knew that Neah knew she was serious about her threats, so if he didn't listen, it was his own fault.

Neah Valentin sighed. With everything mostly quiet it didnt take a genious or even an Owl with super hearing to know when Nikita was done scaveging. No, he could desern that from the loud crashes, car horns, and not shortly after, yelling. He uncrossed his legs and stood from his little throne of books. It was always difficult in choosing which ones to keep. Though he despised most human's some of their literature was quite entertaining. Even if most of the "human" poets he found were in fact Owl's in disguise. When Nikita yelled her threats Neah sighed once more, and settled on Poe for his reading pleasure. He made his way through the fallen bookshelves and debree to slip right out next to his sister. "Oh come on Nika, today couldnt of been that bad? And you should really try reading some of these. This poe was most definatley an Owl. You may even like him." The Repulse Owl slung his bag over a shoulder and put on his usual smirk. "Come on, smile a bit. When we get back I could talk up one of the guys for ya. I know a couple who would just throw themsleves at you" Neah's smirk grew, as he prepaired to dodge whatever projectile was sent his way.
