i like the idea
but the gold looks odd when you have no balance of it, you need some more to make the avatar look more balance
also, you could use a little more grey. i'd say either add grey/gold or take out the gold and just add the grey

i find that the style of this avatar is trying too much for me
there is too much clutter and the top of it is a little too black for me
sometimes less is more: i'd advise losing the fallen wish wisp thing
