Hiskue removed the pot from the fire when it began to boil and set it down on a rock between him and Rose. "Alright it'll be a little hot but dig in." He waited for her to take the first bite.

rose put her fork into the pot and took out some meat,she blew on it and took a bite."mmmm this is good better than river fish."rose said with a smile.

Hiskue smiled, "Glad you like it, I just wish this stuff wern't so hard to come by, but I'm glad I can finaly share it with someone." He took a fork full for himself and chewed it slowly.

rose took out some more meat and ate it.after rose had eaten most of the meat,she laid down on the ground and curled up into a ball."thanks for the food hiskue it was good."rose closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Hiskue finished eating and left the little bit that was left for Fell, got up and streached. He'd like to sleep next to Rose but he felt it would be better if he stood guard for now. So he jumped into a tree and reclined, keeping a watchfull eye over everything.

spirit walked to where hiskue was,he raised standing on his hind legs and pulled on hiskue's pants leg.spirit got back on all fours and looked at rose then back to hiskue.

Hiskue looked down at Spirit, "I should thank you, you know. I've never been this happy in my life, I actually have someone I care about and can protect now. I'm not sure what it is you want me to do but I'll play along." Hopping down from the tree he landed on a thorn that went straight through one of his pads. Hopping up and down in pain, he quickly removed the thorn and groaned, he'd forgotten to put his shoe's back on. Looking at Spirit he said, "Ok so now what?"

spirit nudged him to where rose is sleeping.spirit wanted hiskue next to rose even in sleep.rose turned in her sleep she wraped her tail around herself again.

Hiskue chuckled softly, now understanding what Spirit wanted. "Alright alright, I get it." he laid down next to rose and stared up at the now dark sky, wondering if every day was going to be like this from now on.

rose snuggled close to hiskue,she turned and put her head on his chest.spirit laid behind hiskue and rose he looked around for potential danger.

Hiskue put an arm around Rose and closed his eyes, trying to convince himself that Spirit was wathing for danger.

spirit got up and walked around he turned his head to different dircetion.rose opened her eyes to see what her head was laying on,she stood up a little to see it was hiskue."so spirit must of done this?"she said in her mind.rose touched hiskue's cheek as he slept.

Hiskue opened one of his eyes and looked at Rose, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"no you didn't wake me,it should be me saying sorry for waking you ."rose smiled and removed her hand from his cheek.rose turns her head to look at the night sky.
