Tybalt snorted when he heard Jericho speak. "Are you crazy or something? Or have you never experienced detention before?" He asked. Though he sure it was almost positive that it was the latter. Detentions here were a nightmare and not something you simply shrug off.

Alcyone remembered the last time that she had landed in the school office. This was where she had received the pendant last time and a very strange inquiry about what happened at the Battle of the Bands. Though, the fact that they had gotten sent to the human world had finally hit her and this time they might actually get into some big trouble. Well, she should just get used to it cause trouble seemed to follow the students at Amityville regardless of whether they wanted it or not.
There were quite a few students here and she saw Sin and immediately moved next to her. "Seems like we always end up here somehow..." Grinning, Alcie couldn't deny that she wasn't pleased by this fact though.

Aymet squeezed himself into the already fairly packed office. He glanced around, spotting some familiar faces, some faces he'd seen gritting their collective teeth at the road-crossing fiasco, and some faces he barely knew at all.
At least this time he knew what everyone else was in the office for. He sidled over to Lizzy, who he recognized from one of his classes. The dracolich, not one for grasping the concept of personal space, reached out a clawed hand and touched her on the shoulder. He sounded worried. He was worried. He didn't want to go back to his parents and have to explain he got kicked out of school because of a magic pendant and a road full of boxes. Parents never understood stuff, especially bad stuff that was totally not his fault. Well, partially. But mostly not. "What do you think's going to happen to us?"

Nodding to Aksaja, Jericho turned towards the black dog and raised an eyebrow.
"Haven't been to one here, no. What's the big deal?" he frowned. Detention was detention to him. How bad could it seriously be? Then again this school proved to be rather... unique in a few ways, which left him wondering once again what was ahead for them all.
Regardless, he had his doubts it'd be anything particularly scarring. Though... a few of the other students here did seem a bit worried. Then again, that could easily be due to the thought of being in trouble more than anything else.

From the other side of the closed office door, two voices could be heard.
"I'm just saying Arel, that I find it suspicious that there would be one of those just in plain sight. We don't even why its there and-"
"Let me handle this, I got it." The second of the voices sounded highly not enthused. There was a pause. "If you're so keen on knowing, why don't you talk to Hellma?"
The door opened, revealing two figures. The first was a grumpy and always dour Arel, the second was that new teacher, the one that had shown up during the train debacle, Professor Caelum. The taller of the two faculty members blinked a bit as the door opened and then raised an eyebrow at the abundance of students inside the office. "Err... very well, maybe some other time. I'll leave you to your... ah... work." With that the career services counselor excused himself.
Arel stared critically at the Professor - and then at some of the students down the hallway who were waving to Professor Caelum and giggling - and then closed the door behind him with an audible sigh. "Students." He began, followed by a sarcastic, "Just what I needed."
If anything, the secretary did a double take as he saw Sin and Alcyone along with a cluster of new - and some of them familiar - faces. He stroke towards his desk, pulling out a few files, making rounds of his usual routine of uncomfortable silence as he worked.
Finally, the secretary closed the folders, after having pulled out quite a few papers, each marked with a student's name that said something vague like "Student Behaviour Report" in bold orange on top of each paper. He did his best to look bored and uninterested as he stared at the students, but for some reason, the secretary was slightly fidgeting. Arel glanced quickly at Hellma's now closed door before continuing.
"So, how was your little vacation?"

"Heh heh! Oh yeah. You've never experienced detention before." The black dog snickered now convinced. "I can assure you that it's a fate worse than death." He gave the dragon, Jericho, a nod and flopped down into a chair with little grace. Just in time to see Professor Caelum leave and Arel to show himself. Great. They just had to be caught by the shorty frostling.
"It was s**t." He answered.

"This is my second time this week." Amrita admitted to her Sex-Ed Partner in a miserable tone that matched her expression. But, before she could continue, there was activity; the secretary and the professor were moving about, one leaving and one staying. She did her best to not look at the papers on the desk; not only would that be prying, but it would probably also make her feel worse...if that was even possible. Before she could stop herself, she was answering Arel's question.
"Horrible." She murmured unhappily. "And not in the good way." Because there was a good horrible, clearly.

"That was a vacation?" Aymet asked, confused. Everything was so weird at Amityville, even by Halloweentown standards.

Christof could only give a sad whine, his hands fidgeting as though wanting to hold something that wasn't there.
Across the room he spotted a familiar lavender face, and his expression picked up. His Mistress was safe!!! In.... the office and probably in deep trouble, but she wasn't fog in the human world and that's what mattered! He would have run across the room to throw his arms around her in relief, but out of fear of the professors and head mistress's further wraith, he stayed put at Malodore's side.

Riley felt that question wasn't worth answering, but Aymet's was. Did he really think the faculty member was being serious? That was almost.. cute, in a naive kind of way.
Riley turned to Aymet, and tugged a tiny psionic crystal off her armor. Yes, she replied in a deadpan voice. Here's your souvenir. Come back again soon.

"It was not fun in the slightest," Draven said dryly. It really hadn't been. He'd been far to confused and lost to have any fun.

"A bit fast-paced?" Barth replied. He hadn't cared much for the fog either. Even though that was probably a rhetorical question.

Arel nodded what seemed sympathetically. "Oh yes, I entirely understand, next time you students visit the human world WITHOUT A PASSPORT OR PERMISSION I will hand out pumpkin seeds." The last bit was in a volume which was rather surprising for his small frame; his entire desk seemed to have also frosted over in his little outburst.
"WHAT were-" He stopped himself for a second- "When... Okay, okay. Let's start with basics. Who thought it was a good idea to go down and investigate something clearly out of bounds? Do... do you students even realize what you did?"
The secretary was having a hard time, no pun intended, keeping his cool.

"Cool! ... Wait." Aymet stared at the crystal she'd handed him for a couple of seconds, up to Riley, and then at Arel, as if staring unblinking at someone or something long enough was going to provide him with a revelation. He turned his attention to Riley again.
"Riley, I don't think you have enough of these for... you know... everyone..." He waved a clawed hand to indicate the disgruntled teenage mass they were in the middle of.

Her second time? She had already been in here before this week? She would have asked, but Arel appeared, as well as.. Uhh.. Oh Prof. Caelum. Watching as the professor left, and Arel questioned the students, Mei couldn't help but send a cold glare towards the black dog, Tybalt. It was, after all, him who suggested they go check it out when he spotted the pendant.
Giving a sigh, she shrugged in response to Arel. "I dunno."
