Kate frowned when she heard what Che muttered, calling the Eternity Realm mere science fiction. Instead of dignifying that insult with a response, Kate returned to her explanation. "It is not unheard off that I could allow a living person to enter the Eternity Realm. Though, it has never happened while under my watch. Though, the normal form of entry into Eternity is preferred..." she answered simply, keeping her annoyance in check.
It was then that Che decided he wanted to make Kate relive the time she received her powers. Instead of complaining or anything, Kate decided she might as well tell the story again. "That is the gist of my tale, yes. Long story short, as you would say, I tried to kill myself. My mother found me, my life was saved. In the process of being unconscious from loss of blood, I received my status, so to speak."

With the sounds of fighting getting closer and closer as Nikolai jumped across the rooftops trying to find Anya, becoming more and more worried as the seconds ticked by. He stopped as he reached the edge of a roof and looked around, the sounds of fighting were right on top of him, but he couldn't believe what he was seeing exactly. A magma user throwing lava at a few people, and apparently he was the cause of the island's shaking and Nik knew that was bad news. Nik watched the fight unfold, his worries banished to the other side of his mind for the moment. When the magma user was about to strike a fatal blow to the group, a last ditch effort from one of them saved everyone... from a horrible burning death. The woman who the attack was aimed at fell out of the sky,plummeting towards the ground. Nik acted quickly, concentrated on his shadow, and used all the power he could muster. His shadow exploded out from under him, rising up at almost the same speed she was falling. The large block of darkness morphed intoo a giant hand and caught the woman out of the air, quickly descending to the rooftop and setting her gently on the ground. The shadow receded back under Nik and he sighed heavily, that took quite a bit of energy and concentration. Nik looked back at the fight and saw the building that had been melted by the magma user turn into an acidic liquid and fly off towards him. "Anya. She never can say no to a fight, can she?" Nik sighed and sat down where he was, glancing at the woman next to him and watching the battle unfold. It wasn't wise to just sit and watch a battle like this at close range, with one of the enemy's targets right next to you, but Nik had a defensive maneuver he could use. But of course, things didn't happen that way, as Nik saw for himself. The island slowed its obvious descent and two more Owls appeared, one holding a golden contract. They then turned to the magma user and a taxi flew at him. Nik whistled as he watched this from the edge of his building, ready to melt both him and the woman into the shadows if need be.

Everything was moving so fast for Jeannie. She tried to guide the minds of the psychics but the strain would kill all of them just from the psychic link as she broke it. When the people came to their aid. She relaxed a little watching the others. She would fade back into the black waiting for herself to be adressed or something.
Noel nodded her head, "Okay the twins will be with me, all others relax in Tokyo, please" she said to her. She closed her eyes and began to think, there was some things she kept to herself, secrets and they were slowly eating away at her. She couldn't tell Will...not yet.

Che was far from soft, but the more Kate got into her history, the more he began to sympathize. She was given a responsibility that, more than likely, was impossible to be torn from. "Hmmm...I can't say that I know how you feel. I've never been put in that situation before. Of course I was forced to give up my son and from then on I had to constantly bombard him with bullets and bombs in an effort to keep him safe." Che crossed his fingers over his belly and his dark purple eyes halved sleepily. "Kate, how do you think life would've turned out for you had fate not dealt you the hand it did? Do you think you'd be leading or more productive life with a family and such?"

Lucien's imposter gritted his teeth angrily as he stepped forward. He wasn't about to have a revival occur. When he saw that that wasn't the case, he paused and lamented, "Don't you people ever die!?" As he reeled back his fist to launch another long ranged attack, he noticed a taxi cab hurtling towards him. He redirected his punch at the massive projectile and it exploded on contact. The two car halves zoomed past him leaving him unharmed, but dazzled due to the explosion. "C'mon! Is that all you've got? I took down three people, I can take down two more!" Lucien's imposter threw a punch that extended at the mysterious woman. Needless to say, if it hit her, she'd be reduced to a pile of smoldering flesh.

~~The Snow Owl~~ As quiet as the Snow.... Sakura nodded shooting the island up higher in orde fo the othe two to lift it higher. SHe held this keeping he ams straight out. Magma shot foawrd. The heat fom it was discomfoting to say the least. Anothe water wall shot up blocking it fom contacting her causing steam to ise. Sakura shifted showing the fist sign of weakness. THe ocean may be he's to wield but going against such a foce was tiring. Even with thei help she was eaching he limit. oulin fell knocked out and as did Celestia. The two were weaker in stamina than she. Sakura buckled unde the new weight and he ams falters. She fell to her knees gasping and snapping he eyes open. THe ubbe band effect usually didnt hut this much but the recall that normally did very little nealy sent her reeling. Sakura now held her ams above her head but he am shook with trimmes that would not stop. Some couple appeaed befoe Lucien but this baely registered in her mind. Small dopletes fom the steam that had blocked the magma now began to slice at her ams. Incisions manifest fom he hands and began tavelling down. "Help" she murmued to no one in peticular. In he mind's eye Sakua could see the he wates began to ceep along the ocean. She kept it fom plunging completely but she was about to dop at any moment. Darkness cept ove he vision. "I am a Heald" she thought. Falling out like this would be foolishness. She found the welcome that dakness would bring but like the island, she was falling fast. But as Deadly as the Sea

"Ha. That is nothing compared to the hell I've been through." Kate retorted flatly in response to Che's retelling of his own story. It wasn't that she didn't sympathize, she just didn't care about a person's past except her own. "At least your mother didn't hate you." Kate muttered in addition to her previous statement. That was basically what happened with her mother after Kate's father left. At least that's what Kate believed happened then anyway.
Kate was brought out of her internal thoughts when Che asked her what she thought would have happened to her had she not tried to kill herself. For once, Kate actually laughed. It was a rare sight to hear, let alone see Kate laughing. It was a short and curt laugh though, and sounded kind of musical in its own way. "I would have killed myself regardless of what fate dealt me. Family was out of the question for me even if I hadn't been given my duty of keeping Eternity separate from the Living Realm. I had no desire then, and even now, to have a family of my own. It is a ridiculous concept."

Itachi smiled at amayas response and kept moving forwatrd as he saw will and heard what he said to them. It was just like will really. He also saw vincent and another member of the UNS arrive as well to talk to will it seemed, which was going to be annoying for him but nothing he could do about that really. " Hey will it seems wee not your only visitors since you got back from whereever you were at. Unlike you some of us were actually working. Where did you go anyway? " asked itachi not really expecting a straight answer from the satan owl but he had to try at least. Will was famous for not giving answers people could actually use or even understand sometimes.

The woman watched the elongated punch. She waited until the last possible moment then flipped forward her body glided only inches from the blow as she evaded it. She slid gracefully across the ground as she pulled out a black combat pistol from a holster on her thigh. She took aim and fired several rounds at the magma figure. The masked man started walking forward again. "Wall." He said as suddenly the concrete around the area broke up and slammed together around the man forming a concrete domed barrier over him. "Collapse." He mentioned also. Soon the barrier began to crack as it suddenly imploded on command.
Lucien looked up at the two fighting, who were these owls? He hadn't seen them before, or to the best of his knowledge he hadnt. He didn't recognise their energy signatures either. He grunted as the gash on his chest bled out a little. He began to focus as he used the telekinetic powers to begin a sort of open surgery on his own body. He began reconnecting muscle fibers and blood vessels from the gashes to stop the bleeding. He took in a deep breathe the pain was like being operated on with no anesthesia. He grunted as the wound on his chest slowly started to heal, the skin was stitch by stitch beginning to heal but god did it hurt. He hated not being apart of the fight but he knew that he was in no condition to at the moment.

As Kate went on, Che was gradually reminded of her father who wasn't exactly the nicest person ever. Through all the attempted murders, batterings and thefts, he managed to come through alive with his brother and mother. Although, when Thomas killed him, he wasn't in the least happy. His fatigued half-open eyes widened when Kate let out an uncharacteristic chuckle. It begged an inquiry, but he stopped himself before the desire overtook him. The show of humanity from the guardian brought a small grin to his face.
"Well, as depressing as it may be, I'm happy you didn't kill yourself. Me and Roulin would've been out in the cold for most of our break had it not been for you. Now about family," Che began as he shifted onto his side, "Family isn't ridiculous. C'mon. I think once you experience that warmth...that love of having a family or at least that security, you'll understand. At least I hope you will. You're not as depressing when you laugh and family will keep you laughing."

Jeannie could feel the hurt that Lucien was feeling. She then released a chemical in his brain that would make him feel pleasure instead of pain. "That should help you a little with the pain, endorphins should make you feel a little more pleasure than pain" she told him as she saw him work telekineticly.
Aeon soon put her pryamid back into her bag. It seemed that they would never land. Soon though they were in Tokyo and Aeon departed from the Night OWLs. Soon the jet was off into the air again and Aeon was now Tokyo, Japan. She hailed for a taxi that took her towards downtown, there she would check into a room and enjoy Tokyo.
Aaliyah was having fun, the winds and rains hadn't let up one bit. If anything she increased the speed at what the rain was falling, allowing it to flood then freeze over the rain as it made natural barriers. She was creating a bowl like effect (think like New Orleans is built and the effect it had from Katrina). Water was piling up behind the icy walls, soon, New York would be nothing but a watery grave sight.

Kate's laughter stopped as abruptly as it had begun though. She returned to her usual self to continue conversing with Che. "Don't thank me for surviving. Thank the Russian government and my idiot mother..." She replied, finishing with a slight scowl when she mentioned her mother. "As for the matter of 'family'... The only security I get is from myself. No one else provides security for me except for myself." She finished in a matter of fact tone. "Do not take that laugh just now as a genuine one. Because it wasn't."

Will nodded to Itachi and Amaya. Itachi had the unfortunate issue of not responding to Will's questions or just flat out phrasing himself in ways that could be interpreted horribly wrong. Of course, Will knew what Itachi meant to say, but that didn't mean he had to take it as that.
...where ever you were at...unlike you, some of us were actually working...
The Satan Owl looked sternly at Itachi as a sadistic smirk quirked onto his face. Will not working? Clearly, Itachi had forgotten who exactly Japan belonged to...and who exactly owned Itachi's soul. Though Will was training Itachi, the Heat Owl was Will's slave. "Ah, how interesting, weasel. You question me when you haven't been nearly as useful as Amaya. Who do you think coordinated everyone, hmm?" The Satan Owl noticed Amaya frown slighty, but it wasn't from anger. He knew she didn't like that he referred to Itachi with pet names and derogatory terms, but calling Itachi "weasel" was far from it. The name Itachi meant "weasel."
But then, the other visitors that Itachi mentioned came into view. Daryle and Vincent. Why was Daryle here? Those men must have failed. How disappointing. Daryle Saxton should be in a grease pit, but alas, here he was, walking with Vincent toward Will. The Satan Owl's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Oh..." The bullets passed through the imposter giving him no harm at all. He even grinned at her effort. From the trail of magma, he sprouted another trail that was aimed at her. Before he could continue his assault, a dome of rock sepearated him from his attack and crushed his magma body flat against he ground. He burned through the ground and attempted to escape once again. He needed to get to the edge of the island now that it was beginning to fall again.

"Oh I won't," Che replied almost in the same moment she ended her statement. At this point, it was hard to accept anything from Kate as genuine. Torn by duties, family and responsibility, it was hard to judge anything said by her as "truth" or "factual." Those angry at the world tended to recount things slightly different and when the truth was told, knowledge of their dispostion always skewed the emotions of the listener. This is what Che thought. He too was damaged. After explaining his life to another person, they viewed him differently too. Most wounds healed. Those of Kate's, he hoped, would heal soon. "I don't think you've experienced what life truly has to offer. Laughter is just one of the niceties handed out by it and myself," said the tiring owl. "In all honesty, I don't think you deserve this position...not to say you're not cut out for it. My thoughts may not matter, but I think ough to have better. Or at least a break from your job. Your boss is a real a** for not giving yearlies or monthlies."

~~The Snow Owl~~ As quiet as the Snow.... Sakura slipped and the island jumped going down several meters. She clenched one fist and dropped a hand. The island held but was sinking slowly. She had to get the other's off. She moved one hand towards her body and a thin wave swept up to where they were. The water flooded over Roulin and sli[[ed back as a normal wave would. Sakua tried again and this time the wave came thicked liftting them to float. Her fingers tense and the water lifted from the ground causing the two to float up on the sheet of salt water on a make shift raft in the air. Distant screams could be heard in the distance. Sakura bowed her head apologizing fo not being stronger. This reminded her of how Australia fell. Atleast fo this incident she felt pity for the enes who would perish. She growled angry that this magma man had cause all this trouble. What started out as a simple mission now turned into what felt as more blood on her hands. She clenched her hands into two fist and water began to rush towarsd him. Jagged iced spikes formed. As the onslaught continue parts of magma began to solidify and slow. Soon this attack would reach the culprit. One secret not well known about the water Herald was that the more she felt the stronge her control of the water around her. In this flood of emotion, she had let the island drop from her grasp completely.The mass hit the water but curiously held its own. This didn't register to Sakura in the least.
