The Free Life (Accepting Profiles)

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Simple. He was shot, and now I want medical aid for him."  

[Zahzi]

"Why? It's just an Indian."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Does it matter who you heal, as long as I pay?" Julian challenged.  

[Zahzi]

"Depends. How much am I being paid for this?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Enough." Julian replied simply as he gently pushed Chekondai forward.

"Just patch him up, would ya? I already did the favor of digging out the bullet."  

[Zahzi]

"I want to see the money before I dirty my tools on a savage."

Chekondai gave a low growl to both the doctor and Julian for pushing him.

"And if you cannot keep him in line, I won't to anything."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

After the doctor's comments, there was a distinctive click of a pistol being cocked.

"I believe I asked you to heal my friend." Julian said, staring through the doctor. "You'll get your money after you've done a good job cleaning him up."  

[Zahzi]

The Doctor gave a growl, clearly not liking to be forced to help the Indian.

Fifteen minutes of pain for Chekondai passed before the wound was cleaned out.

"There." The Doctor hissed.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

A bag of coins was thrown to the doctor, as Julian held out his arm for Chekondai to take.

"Was that so hard?" Julian asked, his pistol still drawn.  

[Zahzi]

"Just get out." The doctor grunted, already washing the tools.

Chekondai stared at the hand, before getting up on his own.
"Can we leave now?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Pleasure doing business." Julian smiled as he uncocked the pistol and held the door open for Chekondai.  

[Zahzi]

Chekondai immediately walked out the door, saying nothing.

As Chekondai exited, Julian shut the door and followed the native man.

"So, feeling better?"  

[Zahzi]

"The wound is better, but I loathe the staring." Chekondai growled.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Ah, yes." Julian sighed, looking out to the public as they stared at Chekondai.

"You are a mystery to them. It's hard not to stare."
