Tali was pulling up her foot so that the infected couldn't reach her again. Tears running down her cheeks, her vision was blurry as someone came running up and into the alley. Her body was in shock from being left alone again and from the attack. When she saw the two men come in to the alley she slid down the wall behind her and everything went black. She fainted, barely hearing Jake's words as her mind shut down.

Jake shook his head. Picking Tali up fireman style. Running he shot at the infect. "Cole come on!" He kept running. Firing occasionally but not looking back. Getting into his wall he put Tali down in the bed of his truck. Returning to gate. Firing at infected. "Cole get in!" Waving his hand as he fired. He had Kirsten and Tali. Kirsten would have freaked if Cole didn't make it. "MOVE IT!"

The sound of engines is heard as a V-TOL flies over the shopping district toward the Police HQ spire.

Cole turned and ran towards the shopping district, ducking down as the V-TOL passed over, watching it as it passed. "One day theres no one in sight and the next theres Warships flying around!" He yelled, confused as he ran past Jake and came to a stop.

"I'm also a pretty good shot..."

Tali woke up to find herself in the back of a truck. She sat up and looked around, then climbed out of the truck. Walking up to Cole first she smiled and hugged him, "Thank you." She kissed his cheek and then walked to Jake. Looking up at him she smiled, "You came back for me." She pulled his mouth down to hers to kiss him. As she pulled back she looked up at him, "Thank you." Looking up as she heard some ships flying over, she asked, "Did I miss something?"

Jake smiled as they kissed. Kissing her back. Watching the V-TOL fly over head. "Looks like it's heading for the police station." He looked back at the group. Letting out a small sigh. "Anyone want to go after it? If we do we all go." He hoped they would say no. Fighting infected then going after a ship. One of the worst ideas ever.

About about an hour after the first V-TOL flew over head a second slightly larger headed for the PD. It's carrying a cargo container underneath it.
