 --Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--From Delia's standpoint, it didn't feel like she had been looking at him that much. But in reality, in any split second scene of the movie she got the chance, she stole glances at his face out of pure curiosity. At this point, her mind was all over the place; one moment she'd be into an action scene, the next she'd be glancing at Jac out of the corner of her eye just to see his smile. She didn't really notice it until he leaned over and spoke to her. "Are you kidding? I love this movie," she whispered back with a smile. He was so close to her, it made her nervous for some reason. "My mind is just sort of all over the place right now." What a lame explanation, she thought dismally, taking a sip of water. Kiyiya Sakura what? it's a thing>.> I've had them before!!

Jac was relieved when she said she was enjoying herself. He sat back and watched the rest of the movie. It was really good! As the credits were rolling, he stood and stretched, forgetting about his side until the stitches tugged and he stopped abruptly, not wanting to pull them out. He sat back down and looked at the girls. "That was a great movie. Glad I saw it." As he spoke, the credits cut to a scene of the Avengers sitting at some ruined restaurant, looking dead. It was a pretty funny sight, and Jac chuckled. "Looks like me after work."
Marina Elemento I know, I get them every time my boyfriend comes over. And you can't help but smile, and he asks "what?" He I'm all "Nuthin!" Ahh! He's coming over in a few hours! *Wags tail*

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia managed to bring her focus back to the movie, just in time for the big action scene at the end. She couldn't help herself but to grin ear to ear when it was finished. As her eyes readjusted to her surroundings, she looked at Jac and smiled again when he said he was glad he saw it. She turned to Danielle to ask her how she liked it, and the blonde responded with a long groan of happiness, as if she had just eaten a big meal. "Did you see Captain America's biceps? Of course I enjoyed it!" Delia laughed, turning just in time to see the scene at the restaurant, a scene she hadn't yet seen before. Another series of giggles trickled from her lips and she took another swig of water, finishing the bottle. "Minus the spandex," she added in reply to Jac's comment with a joking grin. "Who's your favorite Avenger?" she asked suddenly, curious as to what his answer would be. Kiyiya Sakura D'AWWWW!! hehehe <3 that is so cute!!! did you have a nice time with him? 4laugh

Jac nodded, "Yeah, if they make spandex part of the uniform, I'm out." he said with a laugh. At her question, he answered, without a skip in beat, "Ironman, He is hilarious. Rich, cocky, sarcastic, and a genius in technology. The armor is amazing!" he admitted. When he was little, he had said he wanted to be Ironman when he grew up. He remembered the picture he drew in first grade. His mother had stuck it to the fridge, and it hung there for months. He smiled at the memory, amazed at how movies and technology made his favorite comic book hero look as if it was real. "What about yours? Are you with your roommate, Miss Patriotic here?" He asked, gesturing to Danielle.
Marina Elemento I had a good time. We are total geeks and got together with two other friends and LARPed at the park. >_< It was such shenanigans! His character and my friends character got wasted, and all the girls went and pulled the best prank ever on them. I love it.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia grinned, nodding in agreement. Ironman was pretty awesome, and she had a feeling that would be his answer. In her opinion, it was hard to choose a favorite, because she found the best kind of traits in each of them. Sometimes she had to remind herself that they weren't real people, and that it didn't matter how awesome they were, but she couldn't help to nerd out sometimes. At his comment towards Danielle, the blonde stuck her tongue out at him playfully and Delia laughed. "Eh, Captain America's cool, but... well, I don't know I love them all. But if I had to choose... Hawkeye is probably my favorite. Just 'cause he doesn't ask questions or make himself out to be something bigger than he is. He's just 'hey, I'm a badass, so what?'" she explained with a shrug, half laughing at herself. Danielle pretended to cough, " Nerd!" But it only made Delia's smile broaden.

Jac smiled mischievously when Danielle stuck her tongue out. "Hawkeye is pretty badass. I like the superheroes that don't have superpowers. It makes them more relate-able." He stood and made his way out of the isle of seats and towards the exit.
In the lobby, he hung around, wondering if he should just head home now or see what else the girls wanted to do. He was having fun, something he had not had much of in a while.

She went to follow Jac to the exit, but Danielle grabbed her arm and pulled her aside, mumbling something inaudible in her ear. Delia turned and looked at her, sliding her arm out of the girl's grasp. "What?""Did anything... y'know... happen?" "What? No! What are you talking about?""He didn't do anything? Try to hold your hand? Anything?" "No!" Delia hissed, shoving her friend gently in annoyance. "We're just friends! How many times do I have to tell you that?"Danielle's bubblegum-pink lips turned up into a smile. "As many times as it takes until you realize that you aren't." It took Delia a minute to realize what she had said, but she couldn't oppose or argue, because by the time she mustered enough cleverness to respond wittily, Danielle was already on her way out the room. The girls met Jac back in the lobby, the pleased smirk still on Danielle's face. Delia didn't look as thrilled, but she didn't look bothered either. She was happy to see Jac was still waiting for them and hadn't just taken off. "So... what now?" she asked, tucking her hands in the pockets of her dress. Danielle checked her phone. "It's only nine o'clock. We could do something else." "Isn't it getting a little late?" Delia replied, glancing anxiously out the window into the dark, half-lit parking lot. Danielle shrugged. "There's always time to take a walk or pick up something sweet, right? Don't worry; we'll get back home on time. What d'you think, Jac?"

Jac looked outside. It was indeed dark out, but that didn't bother him. "Sweets sound good I guess. We could go to that bakery we went to yesterday. If it's still open." He remembered, "It's close to your school so you won't have to worry about getting back too late." It sounded like a good idea to him. The bread Delia had bought there was really good, and he would not mind having a bit more.
Marina Elemento It's short... But it's dialogue. So MEH! >-<

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--A smile found its way to Delia's lips. "Okay," she replied with a nod. "They also have sugar cookies... I hope it's still open; I bet they're delicious." Danielle didn't say anything to oppose, thankfully, she only nodded in agreement and lead the way out of the theater into the crisp night air. The concrete was damp from apparent rain, and a few multicolored leaves stuck to the moist ground beneath their feet. Delia shivered subconsciously and looked up at the stars that peeked out from behind the black clouds in the sky. "It's a nice night," she observed, a smile lingering in the corners of her lips.

When Jac stepped outside, he frowned at the ground. He liked the rain, but not when he had to ride his bike places. He would have to be extremely careful on his way back. Jac had to agree though, the night was a nice one. "Okay, well I guess I'll meet you two there." He said, walking towards where he had parked his bike. Thankfully, he had parked it in the parking structure instead of in the open parking lot. He would not have to sit on a wet seat.
The ride back was fine. He was careful and there was no incident. He arrived before them and saw that the shop was indeed still open, but only for another half hour. He went in and was glad to see a coffee station by the door. He pointed to it, eyebrows raised at the people behind the counter. They answered, "If you buy something, the coffee is free, otherwise it's 50 cents a cup." He nodded and went to look at their selection. There was not a whole lot, as it was the end of the day, but there were some decent choices. he picked out a long, slim piece of bread that had chocolate swirls in it, called a Tiger Tail. He took his treat and sat at one of the tables by the window, a cup of coffee steaming up the glass.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--"Okay," Delia replied as she turned to follow Danielle, who was already a few yards away from her. She followed slowly behind Danielle like a lost puppy, staring at the glittering wet ground in front of her feet. The blonde looked over her shoulder and sighed, stopping so that the slow poke could catch up. When Delia was finally walking at her side again, Danielle looked her up and down, an eyebrow raised. "You okay?" Delia blinked, looking up at her friend and nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine... just... have a lot on my mind." That wasn't exactly a lie. Danielle looked at her for a moment and picked up the pace of their walking, leaving her no choice but to catch up. When they finally arrived, they still had a good half hour to spare before the shop closed, so they slid into the quiet little shop. Delia was relieved that he was there, enjoying something good. Danielle looked at her. "I'll get us some sweet stuff. You go sit." She shooed her away and walked up to the counter. Delia sighed and sat down at the table with Jac, glancing out the fog-kissed window. "How is it?" she asked, looking back at him.

Jac watched the two girls enter the shop, nibbling oh his Tiger Tail. "It's good, have a piece." He tore off a decent sized bit off the other end and held it out to her. He took a sip of coffee and looked over at Danielle briefly, curious as to what she would pick. He looked back at Delia, "So, you have a good time?"
Marina Elemento Tiger Tails are a real thing. I am privileged to live close to Donut Man. They have the best, and I mean BEST donuts ever! They were even on the food channel. My friends and I used to hang out there at like three in the morning, cuz they are ope 24 hours, and we would meet people that lived in another state who came by just for donuts.This here is a Tiger Tail

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia took the chunk of deliciousness and took a bite; her mouth had been watering so much it was almost painful. She nodded, sighing happily at how yummy it was. She followed his gaze towards Danielle, hoping that her friend would bring them over something to drink as well, preferably something warm. After swallowing another bite, she nodded and replied, "Yeah, thanks for coming along. I had fun today." She smiled, finishing her chunk of bread and licking her fingers. As Danielle approached the coffee station to fill up a couple cups, Delia fiddled with the pins in her hair and took them out, letting her hair fall to her shoulders. It was kind of a pain keeping it up all that time; it got pretty heavy sometimes. "Something with chocolate, please," she added to Danielle when the blonde held up a cup and gestured in her direction. Kiyiya Sakura oh my gosh *drools* that looks heavenly! :O

Jac sipped his coffee, enjoying the warmth and the smell. He watched as Delia's hair was released, tumbling over her shoulders like water out of a dam. There was quite a bit of it the curly auburn hair, some of the curls looking quite similar to the Tiger Tail they had just consumed. He followed the flowing river of chocolate to the nape of her neck, his eyes lingering there. He felt his heart quicken momentarily, and found that he could not yet look away from her milky skin. When Danielle came to the table, he blinked and looked away, lifting his coffee cup to his lips and looking out the window. What are you doing? She's so not your type Jac. Don't make things more complicated than they already are. He reminded himself.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--When Danielle sat down next to Delia, her eyes flicked from her to Jac and back to the goodies she put in front of them. There was a paper bag of a few different kinds of cookies, or at least the ones that were left over from the day. There was also a chocolate cinnamon muffin that was practically the size of her head. "Oh wow! Thanks, Dani," Delia exclaimed happily, grasping the warm cup she was handed with her cold fingers. She brought the cup to her lips and inhaled the sweet smell of spices and cocoa. "It's a pumpkin spice hot chocolate," Danielle explained with a pleased grin, taking a sip of her own. Delia sighed contently as the warm, smooth chocolate rushed down her throat and calmed the butterflies in her stomach. Her cheeks flushed faintly from the sudden change in temperature. She took a chunk from the muffin and nibbled on it happily. "Gah, we should definitely come here more often."
