[RAID] Attack on Rocket

The Croagunk was suddenly gone, Perdy let out an alarmed cry and looked around for it, until he felt something powerful slam into the back of his head, with a strangled chirp Perdy was thrust into the sand, wings flapping widely to try and get himself up again.
The affect of flinch causing him to stagger, trying to regain himself, The Pidgeot managed to get to one foot before throwing his wings up around his head and throwing up a Protect.

"Perdy!" Her pokemon were doing fairly well, trying to keep an eye on them to know their status, but it was easy to see that Perdy was struggling.
Rosie took a step forward, seeing that the bird had brought his Protect up, worried for her pokemon, she couldn't stand by and let another one faint and not do anything about it. And she knew just the girl to help him.

"Raaaaii!" Kiss threw her paws out with a triumphant cry, her entire body crackling with electricity The Charge complete the Raichu turned her blue eyes back on to the Rocket who had ignored her song. Glancing over at Rosie as the girl spoke to get her attention "Kiss, you need to help your partner!"
Not having to be told twice the Raichu started at a dash that shon bright the faster she ran, the Charged Volt Tackle on the Croagunk After having looked around to see Perdy pinned down in a rough position. "CHUUU!"

Rubbing her chin with the back of a bloody fist, Pop smirked in a cocky manner when the next pokemon that we let out was a bug type
Her eyes glinted, and she leaned low, Seeing it coming in for an attack the Lopunny suddenly let off a burst of speed, her Agility Zipping her out of the way from the Bite with a rebel yell she swung a kick out to meet with the Dustox

Yuri wouldn't have to fight all that hard; the poor guy had been ready to surrender from the moment his windshield was flooded with damned fire. "Whatever, man!" he said, his tone frantic and defensive as he released his hold on the taser. "It's my day off, man! No one wanted this! Jeez!"

"Charizaaaaaaaaaaaaard!" Fraener roared, smoke billowing from his nostrils as he shook his head violently. What had he been doing? Red eyes looked down at the fighting that was going on below and suddenly he understood. He was fighting. Who he was fighting was unclear but that hardly mattered. With a noise that could only be considered a 'war cry' he dove down and landed not too far from the van. The dragon pokemon used Shadow Claw on whatever pokemon, or human, was closest. Andre let out a loud curse and without a thought started racing towards his confused pokemon. Thankfully the man standing near the van had gone down otherwise he would've been slashed to ribbons. He had no idea where Velencia had gone but he shouted out a command in case she was close by regardless. "Helping Hand for whatever pokemon needs it!" He had to get to Fraenear before he did some serious damage.

With Moriko and Jeeves on their feet, at least, Lin turned his attention back to the battle.
It wouldn't do to just charge in blindly this time, nor get caught separated.
He climbed onto Moriko's back and urged her toward where Dove was still battling with the Servine.

"Jeeves, help Dove with your, uh, cousin there! Engage it in a Wrap!" Lin let Jeeves down to go and do as bid. "Moriko, Camouflage!" That was something he probably should have done much earlier.

[Taser Guy]

With the taser in hand, Yuri frowned at the guy's remarks.

"Yeah? There's a lot of people that could have done without their Pokemon getting stolen or getting seriously hurt by some of your friends. So sorry if I don't have any sympathy."

With that, Yuri swung his fist at the Rocket to knock him out. Leaving him there, Yuri stood and looked around. Well... he was rather in the fray now wasn't he. Though he wasn't too concerned now that he was armed with a taser, his sword, and had an Arcanine standing next to him.

However, as he witnessed a Charizard pratically going on a rampage, Yuri's eyes widened and he jumped back. Trying to put some distance between himself and the dragon.

Unfortunately for the Starmie, its previous Minimize did nothing to help it from the accuracy of Teazer's Faint Attack, and the dual-type promptly flopped over into the sand. Astal would find himself Biting an already passed out Starmie.

The powered-up Psychic type attack, which was powerful enough given its quadrupal type advantage, instantly knocked the Croagunk backwards, though it was quickly followed by a powerful Volt Tacke that was pretty much overkill. The pokemon fell backwards into the sand and didn't get up.

And also unfortunately for the Shedinja, the Shadow Ball attack was one of the only attack types that could hit it - and given its pitifully tiny amount of health to begin with, the Shedinja dropped right out of the air after being hit.

Fool him once, shame on you; fool him twice, shame on him; fool him three times -- except unfortunately for Repede, the Dodrio fully expected the Wild Charge, and nimbly jumped out of the way to avoid it this time. It loosed another triumphant squawk before racing towards Repede with a Tri Attack.

The Dustox's eyes widened when its attack missed and a foot connected with its face. Flapping its wings desperately to stay airborne, it turned from recovering its stance (since that didn't actually hurt like at all) to retaliating with another Psybeam attack at Pop.

And now the Jolteon was running away? The Dunsparce, clearly offended by the electric-type's behavior, suddenly rushed forward towards Rem, readying aDouble-Edge.

The unconscious pokemon were all recalled by their owners (Rockets 1 and 5), and the grunt (Rocket 1) managed to send out his last two pokemon - an Electrode and a Leafeon - before suddenly being struck by a Thunder Wave and collapsing onto the sand, paralyzed. The Agent (Rocket 5) similarly loosed his last two pokemon - a Lucario and a Lampent - and all four pokemon jumped to action. The Lampent targeted Zla with a Confuse Ray; the Lucario focused on Astal and jumped towards him, readying a Force Palm; the Electrode rolled over towards Perdy and aimed a Charge Beam at him; and the Leafeon ran towards Kiss Kiss with a Razor Leaf.

Astal bit... a fallen over Starmie. Heeeey. He passed a glare at Teazer, since he had wanted to do that. Huff. The shiny Eevee turning only to see a Lucario coming at him. The little silver fuzzball didn't back down though, and took off running towards the approaching Lucario in a Quick Attack. But just as he lept for his attack, the Lucario's Force Palm met him squarely in the face. Sending him soaring several feet until he hit the dirt and skidded across it, stopping in a heap. The Eevee having been knocked out completely.

Repede wasn't having much luck either with the Dodrio, the Growlithe bracing himself for the vicious Tri Attack. Which... left him as a giant block of ice in the middle of the desert.

The Espeon pair nodded to one another and Luna gave Viktor another Helping Hand power up which he used to blast the Dustox that was fighting Pop with a Psychic. Repetitive? Maybe, but if so it was repetitive for a good reason.

Now short a target Teazer cast around and soon focused on the Dunsparce which seemed to be chasing one of her allies. Giving a little hiss the dark type vanished only to reappear behind it and strike with Faint Attack.

Dith meanwhile raised Zla's rough hewn apricorn pokeball and recalled him; the ghost had already taken a nasty hit and he didn't want him taking further damage from confusion. As soon as he was sure the pokeball would have cleared the confusion Dith reached into his bag for a potion to boost Zla's health with.

With the Croagunk no longer something to worry about, Kiss Kiss powered down with a light sigh, But with no time to relax she threw herself back when she was struck across the chest with a Razor Leaf, digging her paws into the sand before letting out a pained gasp, clutching at her chest the mouse pokemon let out a light growl at the Leafeon .

Perdy had been fully expecting to feel another attempted attack from the Croagunk, Perdy was surprised to feel a charge of electricity close to him prickling his feathers. But instead, the Protect he had up kept him safe from a different attacker.
The Electrode's attack bounced off his Protect, shattering it the next second.
Large brown eyes wide in concern when he saw the new attacker. Oh no, not another Electric type.
A sudden call from his partner, as Kiss Kiss turned her tail on the Leafeaon and dashed her Volt Tackle instead at the Electrode to try and tackle him away from Perdy.
Taken by surprise the Pidgeot tried to gather himself as best he could, glancing over to see who exactly he was trading with.
Perdy let out a laugh, opening both his wings and hitting them into the air to help him take off, throwing the blades of sharp air toward the Leafeon in an Air Cutter

Rosie nodding, seeing the team already starting to work together and help increase their winning chances.

Rosie let out a breath, shaking in nervous, but she looked alert and on her toes, with her first duo team on their next attack, hoping that they could all could hold out for just a little longer,
Rosie turned her sights onto the other pokemon she had out on the field.
"Oh dear." A Dustox, There was no way Pop would be able to make much of a dent on something like that, not with the moves she knew.
Rosie was proud of her girl for taking out the first one so quickly, but it seemed this time she was going to need her partner if she expected to get out of that battle.
"Greal you need to help your partner" She muttered to the pink ball as she lifted it to her lips. Then tossed it into the air.
A Sawsbuck with a massive rack of antlers bound his way in long leaps over the sand, head bowing as he drew closer to the Dustox attempting to ram into it and drive it away in the effort of creating space.



Greal turned a sharp eye on her, his tall form frowning down at the panting Lopunny, who was clutching her chest where the Psybeam had struck her, knocking her flat on her back and freezing her with pain.
He replied Sarcastically.
Pop looked over to Rosie, her eyes widening at the gestures she saw her giving the Lopunny leaped up, landing onto one of the branch of antlers. where she half hung, holding on with one paw and propped up with one foot.

Greal reared up, harsh eyes turned down on the Rocket and his Dustox, his Nature Power attempting to tremble the earth around them.

Rem was pummeled to a side once again, and, feeling quite frazzled over the sudden interruption in her endeavors, stiffened her coat into an angry Pin Missile.

Abruptly caught up in a Wrap, the Servine flicked his tongue out arrogantly and reached to dig his claws into Dove's hair and root himself to her.

"Fraener, arrêtez tout de suite!" Andre shouted as he came within hearing range of his confused pokemon. The dark pokemon let out an enraged roar at the audacity of the human and went to swipe at him only for Andre to jump back and narrowly avoid the sharp claws. "Vous devez attaquer l'ennemi, l'ennemi!" He jabbed a finger up at the first pokemon that he could see which happened to be a Dustox. He seemed to have caught the Charizard's attention as its eyes shifted to the pokemon his trainer was currently pointed at. "Attaquer nul autre!" He wasn't sure if that last command was heard as Fraener had launched himself into the sky to use Ember on the Dustox.

Catching the Rocket mechanic's beginning of an indication that the cargo transport was a lost cause before he was knocked unconscious, one of the Elite Agents embroiled in battle with the League representatives gave a harsh frown and called out an order, "Okay, never mind, everyone--"

Abruptly, a faint trembling began to shake the earth - something more sinister and unnatural than the Earthquake Graelhorn's Nature Power created - accompanied by a peculiar shuddering sound in the distance. The dull noise rapidly escalated into a roar, an awful twisting of metal and crashing of stone and unbearable screams of noise that burst through the air as if the earth were a pounded drum. The sound gradually subsided to a dwindling rumble, replaced by a surge of wind and, carried upon it, a nearly solid wall of stirred sand rushing at them from the north.

Catching sight of the encroaching threat, Petra's voice cried out over the din, "Get down!"

Within moments, a tempest of grit and rock was washed over the area, stifling every battle, depositing layer upon layer of harsh earth against every surface, and temporarily reducing the visibility to nothing.

Aurora smirked as she felt the energy return to her body, her eyes nearly glowing as she looked at the two below her. With a deep, amused growl, the arcanine leapt down and attacked the bundle with a crunch.

Sparky, however, remained unamused, and swiped at the Servine as Dove held the back tight to her chest. Lin called for his pokemon to help, for which she was grateful, until the thing attempted to cling to her hair. With a flick of her wrist to her belt, the girl released another pokemon, this one lean and purple, and immediately reached back to guard her neck, if nothing else. "Get this thing off of me!"

Satin took up a shaky post on Thierry's back behind her, looking incredibly bored already, until she realized just how dire the entire situation she found herself in was. With a roll of her eyes, but a will to do her mistress' bidding, the Liepard made to attack the back of the Servine with a shadow claw.

However, the liepard would never get the chance to attack, as the trembling of the earth caught not only the attention of itself, but also the trainer in front of her. With a gasp and widening eyes as the sound escalated into a nightmarish scream, the girl immediately called back all of her team but Sparky, crashing to the ground as the Rapidash disappeared from below her and pressing the luxury balls tightly to her chest as the Typhlosion beside them heavily covered her, his body bent low to the earth and his head turned down as he took the force of the blow for her and the grass types instead.

The shaking of the earth and the load roaring was certainly enough to get anyone's attention. Yuri blinked and looked up as he tried to retain his footing. His dark eyes widening as he saw a wall of debris coming at them like he'd never seen before. Time seemed to slow, stand still even, as he just stood there for a moment in shock. His instincts then kicking in as he threw himself onto the ground and covered his head.

There was no time to think. Be he did notice that something large and dark and furry quickly placed itself over him. Just milliseconds before the cloud of darkness washed over them.

The sudden shaking of the ground caused a sinking, anxious feeling to well up in the pit of Sera's stomach, but she had literally no time to think about it before she heard Petra shout for everyone to duck. She spent a brief second debating her options - very, very brief, because she had none - before she dropped to her knees and threw her arms over her head. A split second later, she found Isabella curled around her protectively, as she'd used Quick Attack to rush to her trainer, and the brunette managed to cling to the dark-type and bury her face into her fur just as she felt the rush of wind and sand strike them. Jacques, meanwhile, had hunkered down where he stood, his back to the sand wall and his arms thrown over his head. Giselle thanked her lucky stars that she was a ghost, and remained invisible and intangible.

At Petra's shout, Alder jerked his head up from their battle, and immediately called his Braviary over and knelt down in the sand as the large bird curled around him, fanning his wings out around his owner to protect him from the vicious storm that washed over them almost immediately after. A pang of fear washed over him as he tried to think of what to do or how to stop it, and how to protect everyone from it, but at the moment he couldn't think of anything apart from the sincere hope that everyone would be able to duck in time or protect themselves, even as the ground continued to shake beneath them. This wasn't anything like what he'd expected when they'd set out earlier that day.

Claire had a similar idea, but first the elite lunged for Lucas and pulled him to the ground as Odette bolted down to them, extending her own wings and wrapping them around the pair to protect them. The various Rockets and their pokemon who were scattered around the makeshift battlefield - or at least, those who weren't already incapacitated or unconscious - heard the shout as well and immediately threw themselves to the shaking ground as the wind began whipping over them, carrying an incredible amount of sand with it as the storm literally raged around everyone.
