E: If you know where you're going (Penny), you can hurriedly sneak to the stairs.
Stepping over and around the ruins of the sitting room, Penny "casually" hurried through the room, into the library, past other phony and into the south part of the library. It took her a moment for her eyes to adjust, but spotted it finally hidden cleverly in the shadows and by the perspective of the room. Getting the stairs down, she noticed hoof prints in the dust of the steps. Damn, some phony else had already gotten up here, but by the sound of voices and things still being overturned around her, not many. Making sure no one was looking her way, the dark colored phony in her dark color garb wedged herself into the shadows as much as she could, crouched and then darted up, using her wings to propel herself quietly halfway up the stairway, alighting on the step quietly. Being a small, slight phony had its advantages as the stairs barely made a noise under her weight. Then with one more wing propelled jump, she made it onto the landing above. Penny caught the stairs with her back hoof as the rapidly raised up to snap back into place, letting it slowly and quietly click shut behind her. With luck, those who'd arrived before her wouldn't notice her and those below would still have no idea how to get upstairs the same way she did.

C: Search the... art gallery? Who has an art gallery in their home?
Del climbed the stairs noisily after Quarter, glancing around at the second story and all it had to offer. There was a reading room, a loung, art gallery, a bathroom and a locked room. Curious. Del went over towards the door, twisting the knob a few times as if that would make it give way or suddenly open it before deciding it was no use. A key was needed. But where could he search for a key?
"I think your on your own from here hunter." Del snorted, though Caramell passed a wink to her sister and a mouthed a silent 'Thank you!' for dragging her up here. She was going to investigate the bathroom first because well, the thought amused her when she took a double look at the art gallery.
Art. Gallery. Paintings, Statues, mosaics, abstract sculptures.... NICE!!!!!
Grinning with Excitement, Delamell changed her mind and made a dash for the art gallery, curious to all it held and any inspiration it might deliver. While Caramell was admiring the paintings and various sculptures, Delegator was looking for anything out of the ordinary or perhaps even a key. Maybe one was stashed behind a secret cut out behind a painting. Or maybe a safe. Or a what if one of the figures had a moving part you could twist or pull to open a secret door?
"What secrets did you hide from me in here you old b*****d." Del cursed to himself, starting first by tapping on the paintings or scooting them aside to peer behind.

D: Head through the sitting room to the library.
Torts had seen enough. Womb with a View eh? She didn't remember seeing that name on the invite-list, and decided that perhaps they have been part of a motive, this was not the killer's coat, and it thankfully didn't belong to any client of hers. Torts was fine to leave the coat where it was, but made a note that the lipstick also seemed to match up. Nope, not of any interest.
Decidedly, she figured she best be on her way to find that crawlspace to the east wing, if only she could get up there.
The other lawyer hurried through the sitting room, not bothering to stop there, and moved on to the library to beginning her investigation of that room. Focused solely on trying to find access, she began moving books and other objects on shelves about looking for secrets. Her mind drifted to tales of superheros who had secrets rooms or things pop up when moving candlesticks or such, maybe that was the case with something on shelf. She was careful to keep an eye out and not step on any poop, having noticed the poopy rug.

His eyes widened at the find of the drain cleaner. That could absolutely poison someone, yet if that much was used... wouldn't it be smelled? Shaking his head, he flicked his gaze over to the coats before glancing back to the door. He was sure they had found enough clues here, and most likely the only ones. If he kept wasting his time he'd soon fall behind. Humming thoughtfully, Bright Blessings considered his options. He could head to a new location, or return to an old one. He was sure the older rooms had been ransacked completely by now, and he didn't enjoy the idea of being the only one in this section of the house. Especially when a killer was rampant.
And so he headed through the service tunnel and into the library. He paused for a brief second, a scuff leaving their mouth. So the old man did have some interest in literature, it seemed. Huh. He wouldn't have pegged him down as the type. That, or collecting the books would eventually become profitable.
Stairs. There had to be stairs nearby. He doubted the library was contained to one floor... but where in tarnations were the blasted things, anyway?
D. Attempt to use the stairs (roll a d20 unless you know where they are)

Before leaving the room, TACO made a mental note of what everyone else had said. This room was filled with all sorts of suspicious stuff. "Yeah, I found a syringe. I left it in the wastebucket though. I didn't want to get hoof prints all over evidence."
He then added (not so) slyly, and loud enough for everyone around to hear, "Would be a shame if the Judge in charge of the murder case went off of all this tampered evidence. It wouldn't be hard to throw the book at someone who was clearly the murderer."
TACO turned to leave dramatically, and his Judge's cape billowed around him. No matter what he did, he was already stylish.
Next stop was the kitchen. There was his partner of a few hours ago, and a very angry Chop Chop. It felt like chaos. Then again, Chaos was his middle name -- Judge Chaos Fudge; probably not the best name choice for a judge that should really be lawful, but YOLO.
It is said that music soothes the savage beast, and so TACO sang a siren's song to Chop Chop to try to calm her down.

With a roll of her eyes at the Judge's actions, Sea Major made note of the drain cleaner and decided to keep this room in mind. Something had happened here for sure, but what exactly? Not only that, it seemed the others had not been much help, leaving and not telling her if they had found any evidence. Due to this, Sea Major had made a quick decision to go to the same room as one of the other phonies, that being the one who made their way through the sitting room to the library. The Judge had a least spoken. The other phony hadn't though, and Sea was sure that she had seen them searching the coat more. Besides that reason for going, there had been a book in the Great Room earlier that Sea Major had gotten a quick glimpse of. Maybe she could find something related to that in the library?
Being careful while walking through the sitting room, Sea tried to make some conversation with the phony at which she was following. She didn't want to seem like she was stalking the other, because in honesty she didn't. All she wanted to know was if this phony did find anything ", Did you find anything else in the coat?"
