In an attempt to make Gohan angry, Cell first tries beating on the boy. But, when that didn't work, 16 jumped in and tried to self destruct on Cell, which failed too. Third, Cell gave birth to 7 mini cells and had the kids attack the Z fighters who were watching. And yet, that isn't quite working.

Seeing his friends and family get beaten by the Cell juniors, this begins to awaken the anger felt deep down within Gohan. But, when Android 16 is crushed by Cell's foot, Gohan loses it and awakens his super saiyan 2 power. Android 16 got help from Hercule to be tossed near Gohan so that 16 could give Gohan the speech of it is not a sin to fight for those you wish to protect especially if it means saving the world. In a way, 16 was telling Gohan to give Cell what he wants and make him regret ever challenging him.

Gohan begins his assault by destroying all 7 of the cell juniors one by one showing everybody that he means business. After destroying the mini cells, Gohan tosses the bag of senzu beans to Trunks asking him to feed everyone a bean each. Now Gohan is ready to kill Cell for what that monster has done.

Cell powers up as much as he can, but he cannot even touch Gohan now. Gohan lands two hard punches and it would seem like he has won it all. Cell is currently badly damaged.

Cell tried everything that he could to beat Gohan, but he just couldn't do it and with one mighty kick to the gut, 18 was free from within Cell.

Using the self destruct bomb as the last resort, Cell planned to blow up the earth and take everyone with it. However, Goku using his instant transmission sends Cell to King Kai's planet in time, thus resulting in the deaths of Goku, Greggory, Bubbles, and King Kai. Cell would have been dead if it weren't for Piccolo's cells and now he has returned to earth to have another round with Gohan.

Cell injures Trunks badly upon his return, then Vegeta in a rage gives everything he has against Cell only to wind up severely injured. Gohan saves Vegeta from being destroyed, but injures his arm in the process. Now Cell plans on finishing things declaring that he can live forever.

After a long winded speech, Cell is ready to destroy the universe, but thanks to a pep talk from Goku in other world, Gohan is ready to fight back.

Gohan and Cell both unleashed a powerful Kamehameha, which was a tug of war situation, but thanks to Gohan's friends, Gohan was able to defeat Cell once and for all.

Up on the lookout everyone was healed, but Goku wished to remain in Other world because a brand new adventure awaited him. They have one wish left for Shenron to grant.

Everyone went their separate ways. Trunks went back to his own time to deal with the androids. Goku and King Kai are going to build a house in other world. Chichi has learned of what happened to Goku.

Trunks killed the androids and Cell in his time to finally end the nightmare and he also told his mom about his trip to the past. The house that King Kai built didn't last long and so now Goku, King Kai, Greggory, and Bubbles are on a road trip to other planets in Other world.

In Other world, Goku meets West Kai who is a small and purple kai who doesn't like North Kai. North Kai had to explain that there are 4 kais who guard the universe and above them is the Grand Kai and yet above the Grand Kai is the supreme Kai. Then Goku meets Pikkon, a warrior from the west who is extremely strong. He and Goku had to take care of Cell, the Ginyu force, Frieza, and King Cold in hell, which Pikkon dominated.
