Byako Bath District ~The RP~

He brushed away it's arm with a swing of his axe, having missed his intended target. But he figured that taking out the creature's heart was as good as it's head, and with a mighty swing, buried his axe in the creature's chest, using his weapon as a crude prying instrument to force open the creature's chest.

The automation began to make a sound similar to a scream as its chest cavity was opened, leading to a strange fog leaking out from it. Looking inside, Nemo would see the creature was hollow even as it began to fall forward into the acid.

"Oh crud..."

He scrambled to free his axe from the creature's mangled chest, scrambling up it's neck and head as it fell. At the last moment, he sheathed his axe on his back and leapt forward, extending his claws in time to dig them into the solid rock wall as the creature made it's final dive into the acid below.

He watched the creature disappear into the deadly pool, and with a click of his tongue and a shake of his head, he began the arduous climb up to the exit of the cavern.

Melodia stood outside the entrance to a giant bathhouse building, wondering whether to go in. She had a little extra money and thought she could relax in healing waters.

As Nemo climbed upward the put slowly began to widen until he found himself obstructed. The exit he came in from was barred with horizontal stalagmites and one of the walls looked to have a rubbery texture. To make things worse, the entire passaged was protruding a strange fluid which was making it hard to maintain a handlehold.

After paying for her bath, she lifted her instrument/umbrella and turned to leave. "No thank you, I'll be fine", she said softly. With that said and done, she strolled out of the bathhouse, her instrument/umbrella within her arms, cradled in a position for her to begin to play. And once out the door, she closed her eye's and began to strum her fingers upon her instrument, walking in no particular direction. This place, Byako was so large and she was still new here. And the best way to see everything was to get lost. So off she went.

With typical dwarven stubbornness, he sunk his claws into the wall and braced himself. With a strong push, he propelled himself headfirst against the stalagmites blocking his path, and burst through them into the world outside. After a couple of rolls he hopped to his feet and turned back towards the opening, axe in hand.

A loud scream billows up from the hole and the ground starts to shake, causing the tunnel he just moved from the churn and move.

"Ye got to be kidding me..."

He had had enough of whatever this thing was. Setting his axe in it's holster, he called upon his innate dwarven powers, chanting quietly. Releasing the magic, he raised his arms sharply as a massive wall of stone rose against the entrance, effectively sealing behind it whatever threatened to emerge.

"There, that takes care of that."

Suddenly the ground explodes into the air, sending debris flying everywhere as it appeared.

A large monstrosity, the creature appeared reptile of some sort with a long neck and a gaping mouth that showed lines of teeth down the inside of its neck. If Nemo was able to see it, he may even notice his axe marks in the inside of its mouth. The rest of its body appeared to be buried underground but the monsterous neck bent around as the strange creature attacked anything it could from the ground, the trees...
It appeared to lack eyes so its target was hard to say.

"Well shave me bald and call me an elf..."

He didn't have much in the way of thought at the moment as the enormous monstrosity burst from the ground like some kind of wicked plant, it's jaws snapping wildly in search of it's dangerous prey.

He had to take a moment as it flailed to scratch his head.

"Well now how do you suppose I'm to be getting rid of that thing?"

The figure of the priest came into view at the edge of the town. Some people had told him this was the place to go if someone wanted to relax, and after his many long days of travel he needed to relax. Walking along the roads he looked at all the buildings that surrounded him, eventually stopping to gaze at the bigger building he assumed was the bathhouse. Leaning on his staff he fell into silent thought, a warm smile crossed his lips as he looked out at the building. There he stood for a good long while, staying as still as a statue.

When the priest finally came back to the here and now he shook his head free of the lingering thoughts and moved forward, the fabric of his butt-cape flaring out behind him as well as his short cape. As he walked he tapped the butt of his staff to the ground with each other foot step as he closed the gap between him and the bathhouse. Stepping up to the front of the building he looked up at it and sighed.
"I hope I'm doing the right thing."
He said to himself, scratching the back of his head and rustling his short brown hair. Stepping up to the doors he hesitated a moment before knocking, feeling silly for not knowing what was proper at these places.

The monster seemed to hear Nemo's words. Its hearing apparently still functional. Turning in his general direction, it attacked blindly.

The door opened seemingly on its own and there to meet the priest upon his arrival was a ghostly apparition.
"Welcome to the Bath House."
It said pleasantly.
"Your here to enjoy our services correct?"
Though it was hard to make out since the translucent figure looked like a faceless man wearing a robe, it gave a sort of smile.
"We have a number of different baths within our walls each with its own unique magical properties."

Father Izil hadn't time to look around before the door opened before him. Standing up a little straighter he smiled toward the ghostly apparition, as if it didn't bother him what-so-ever. Letting the ghost finish he nodded once as if to confirm what he had said, his unkempt brown hair getting tossed into his face as he did so.
"Correct, although I must admit I have never been to a bath house before. Any suggestions for a wandering priest?"
He asked in a pleasant voice, seemingly happy about just talking to someone, or thing. It was unfortunate, but few people enjoyed talking to a priest, especially one outside their own religion. Pushing aside his waist cape he began to dig around in a leather bag tied to his side. The priest pulled what money he had and showed it to the ghost, as if to ask if he had anywhere near enough to enjoy the services here. And with a somewhat embarrassed smile he reached up and scratched the back of his head.
"I suppose I should have asked for pricing first."
He said, then laughed at his own lack of forethought.
