So true! The Pilot was awesome work to get it to land though. It was really impressive.

I am really getting sick of these single digit temperatures. Brrrrrr..... I am so cold... It really didn't help that I had to go to work this morning. Got out of my warm and snuggily bed sad

Well, howdy, Shelby!

Ok, I am not envious of the subarctic temperatures. The hard freeze warnings haven't hung around long enough down here to be too much of a problem, which is good since we don't know how to act, especially when they start warning of black ice. And it looks so strange with everyone's yards littered with white sheets wrapping precious vegetation (like crime scene)! I can't wait to get through this Winter. Oh wait, that means on to the other extreme temps of Summer. Too bad Spring and Fall are more of the two extremes battling for control instead of a nice even in-between.

I was thinking,... there's always alot of birds in the cities. So much that they become a nuisance. This must be a growing concern for the airports. I hope they find some kind of way of repelling the birds before I get my flying car. *Jetsons' theme song plays in head*

Is everyone enjoying MLK Day? I wonder how many have the day off.
And who's planning on watching the inauguration? Can it be avoided!?


Mardi Gras is coming up on February 24th.
I'm going to come up with a theme for each week leading up to it,
so I can share the celebrations with all of you.

And I'm going to set a tentative date of this Friday, Jan. 23rd
for the Watumelon Meeting at 9pm Central.

I don't know what got into me this weekend,
I was just suddenly overcome with the urge to draw.
Maybe it's because I am currently in between books. It is unlikely scenario, since I am usually quick to find another book so become immersed in, but I haven't found anything since I finished the Twilight series.

I'm gonna go post them in the Art section...
