The Park

Mae glanced at the guy who was walking on air.
How annoying..
She rolled her eyes and continued walking,stepping on dry leaves.
She ignored his thoughts.

Nero blinked as he heard someone call him annoying. He looked down and saw a girl walking away instead of praising him. "Hey you!" he said then began to run towards her. "Yo, wait up, toots!" he yelled then ran into a tree.

Mae stopped walking after hearing a thud.
She turned around and covered her mouth,resisting to laugh.
"Oh, poor you. " She said looking at him.
He had a little cut on his forehead.
I should heal that.. but I have the urge not to..

Nero fell back and landed on his back. He twitched a little until he heard the girl speak. "Glad ya finally noticed me, toots." he smirked. A gust of wind pulled him up and picked his hat up. He grabbed his floating hat and put it on nonchalantly.

"So this was a trick?" She asked,getting annoyed again.
Her red eyes rolled once again before turning to walk again.
My mistake for coming here, I should go back to the dorm..

"Huh? H-Hey! Wait, toots!" Nero blinked and snapped his fingers. A gust of wind blew the girl back towards him. "It ain't a trick!" he frowned and pointed to the cut on his forehead. "Does that look fake to you?" he asked.

Mae sighed.
She wiped the blood on his forehead with a black cloth she took out of her pocket.
She then placed her thumb on his cut and applied a little pressure.
When she removed her finger,the cut was gone.
"Happy,now?" asked him, placing her hands on her hips.
She eyed his lollipop.

Nero blinked at his clear forehead then looked at the girl. "How'd ya do that, toots?" he asked.

"For a baby kitten's sake, don't call me toots." She glared at him.
"I'm a healer,obviously." She added,wiggling her fingers.
She eyed the lollipop again.
She took it.
She smirked and placed it in her mouth.
I'm glad I can't get diseases..Yummmy

I made my way to the park, enjoying the breeze in the air. Scanning the park I noticed a playground, and benches at first. But my eyes held at the playground. I couldn't believe the park actually had swings! I walked as fast as I could towards the swings - ignoring the protests from my long empty stomach. My disorder had gotten worse than usual. I hope it wouldn't show.

Mae heard the girl's thoughts.
Disorder? Huh..Wow..
She moved the candy to the right side of her mouth.
She looked the girl up and down,looking for a sign or symptom of this 'disorder'.
She found none.

"What made you think you could take my candy, toots?" Nero fumed and took his lollipop back then popped it into his mouth. He was a god, he could heal himself if he got some cold from the girl.

Mae snapped her head back to his direction.
She rolled her eyes at the nickname again.
"Because" She snatched the lollipop again and took a step closer to him.
She grinned and took one slow lick of it.
"I can." she finished,placing the whole thing in her mouth.

'You could never get a cold from me,idiot..' She thought.

"No you can't!" Nero stomped his foot and crossed his arms. "You owe me a buck fifty!" he yelled and turned his back towards her. "And I'm not an idiot." he grumbled as the wind whipped around the two.

Mae yawned and stretched her arms above her head, her shirt rising up as she did.
She looked at him.
If he didn't approach me the way he did, I would of noticed how cute he actually is...

"You actually want me to pay you cash.. for a lollipop?" She asked with a straight face.
