BLURGH
So I wanna enjoy a nice, peaceful game of Riven, right? So I install it onto this computer [since it won't let me use the data on the hard drive I plugged in >_>] and start up the game. I get through the intro and the part with the guy that speaks nonsense and steals the prison book. But after that it freezes up at random times. I got through the first puzzle the first time, but after that I couldn't even get past that.
So I thought, "Oh well, let's just play the original Myst."
I install it and run it. Once again, the intro is fine, but as soon as the game starts... Everything's black. Can't see a thing. And it's not the brightness, because if you can happen to link into Myst, all you can see is this little patch of sky on the top-right, with a bird flying on it.
So I decided to play Myst III: Exile.
I install it and run it, and... M3.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING.
So the only Myst game that's actually working is Myst IV: Revelation. I'm not even trying V or Uru. Those are a waste of time.
But yeah, this is really dumb. >:/
