...But why bother trying to 'clean up' the subforum at all? neutral As Falathrim said in the off-topic thread, everything good about the subforum can be found in this guild. Other than fangirls and noobs, what does the subforum have that Numenore does not?
I'm not trying to be negative, but why are we even bothering when we have everything right here? confused It's a lost and pointless cause.

The subforum is extremely spammy today. This Ballnchain person ressurecting practically every thread, and another person actually posting "I'm only doing this for the gold!". stressed

...Which is why I no longer visit the subforum. stressed It just seems to be getting worse and worse! And as i've said before, I don't enjoy 'playing mod' unlike some. It's not what I come on Gaia to do.

I don't like to either, but sometimes they post SUCH retarded things that I feel its my duty to clease the sunforum from this unholyness. I gave up on that, though... sweatdrop There is no stopping them so why bother?

look at it this way; when the forum is less spammy, literate fans are easier to spot. so we can invite them to join, and our guild becomes more successful. but with a no-spam forum, this guild would indeed be pointless. so, I have no idea what my point is here. just ignore me.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning, for allergy testing and random stuff to do with my asthma.

Anyways, I hate that doctor now.

I have an allergy to cats. Now, for my almost fifteen years on this earth we have had cats in the household. Doctor was adamant that I should get rid of them, cruel heartless b*****d that he was, saying that I should get rid of them immediately. ******** no.

So anyways, they're not allowed in my room now, and I'm not allowed to hold them or have them on my lap or anything...which really, really, really sucks. I love my cats...and now I'm not allowed near them. AT ALL.

He also randomly thinks that I might have an ulcer and an extra rib. And he gave me new inhalers that look weird -_-

Weirdest doctor's appointment ever..

I'm really upset about the cat allergy though...because...I mean, I love my cats...and to tell me I can't pet them...dammit whenever I think of it I start crying. I'm so annoyed. Blah.

Hug and cookie for Zamster. I vote kill the doctor and find a new one. Or maybe just find a new doctor, seeing as murder is illegal... Oh dear, just because I love my cats so much, and the thought of being told I wasn't allowed near them scares the s**t out of me, you get another hug.

That was my first time seeing this doctor..I was referred to him by my doctor. I like my doctor...but not this dude. He annoys me.

Problem is, I don't know of any other allergy specialists in the area and such, and he expects me back for a follow-up.

And yes, he thinks I have an extra rib. So I get to go for xrays and crap sometime.

And the ulcer thing is utterly unfounded, seeing as he based it on me having pain when he applied pressure to an area of my chest/stomach. But he didn't ask if I had any symptoms or anything else, which my mom found odd.

Blah. Whenever I think about it I start crying again...the fact that I have an adorable picture I took of one of my cats framed and on my desk isn't helping all that much..

Wow. Such a great start to 2005. And a great early birthday present too, considering that's in three days (the 10th..)

And the problem isn't getting more cats. I can deal with not being allowed to get more cats...I'll get bunnies or something.

The problem is that I can't hold MY cats. Can't pet MY cats. I love them so much..any non-pet owner wouldn't be able to understand...but I couldn't bear to part with them due to this...I can understand if they die naturally..

But my mom said if we had to get rid of them they'd probably have to be put down...and I just would die if that happened.

Okay, guys, really, I'm sorry for ranting on like this. I just needed to get it out. I haven't been able to take my mind off it, and I'm so freaked that mom will come up here and find me crying.

*Hugggles Zurgi* That really sucks. I'm not all that great at comforting, but still... Lots of people with cat allergies still have cats! Can you not just take allergy medicine? When you go back for your follow-up appointment, you should ask him if there's someone who can give you a second opinion. *gives you plate of Thaxul-proof, kitty shaped cookies, but if the kitty-shapedness is bad, they morph into doctor-shaped so you can bite off the doctor's head*

I know the feeling though, my sister had to get rid of her guniea pig because they think she's allergic to sawdust. No one ever tried to find out, Lisa usually ignored Pig anywayz. I felt bad for poor Pig but I am allergic to sawdust and sawdust like things.

I am alergic to my cats. Alex only bothered me when he slept on my pillow, but we just didn't let him. Lupin only bothers me sometimes which is good. And Keiro bugs my eyes all the time but he's so cute! And Chris's cat killed me when I was over at his house. Of course I sat and petted it for 20 minutes... probably didn't help.

I recommend either, a new doctor (your's sounds evil/crappy) or allergy medicine or do what I do! I'm not sure what that is, I'd have to get back to you but yeah *shurgs*

See, the whole problem is....if it was just an allergy it would be fine.

But I'm a chronic asthmatic. According to doctor boy, combining the asthma with the allergy isn't good. My lungs are constantly inflamed because of the allergy, which then gives me problems with my asthma, which then gives me asthma attacks....blerg. It's the combination of everything that's the problem.

Anyways, now mom is making me take all of the stuffed animals out of my room since they're probably filled with cat dander. I'm going to attempt to convince her to let me keep Sir Darwin, my monkey, since I just got him last month while travelling and he's only been here for less than two weeks so he can't be that bad. But yeah..

And mom has to go buy this 300-500 dollar Hepa Filter from Sears. o.o; And she has to bathe the cats every two weeks. I laugh at her... xd

I feel so incredibly horrible for you. Surely there has to be SOMETHING you can do to still allow you to hold your cats though. That's just too sad. sad
At least you're not getting rid of them though- I know how much that would hurt.
I'd recommend trying to get another doctor's opinion, just to be sure, since this guy seems like a bit of an idiot. Maybe he's overreacting just a little.

I've self diagnosed myself with an allergy to certain dogs (I can't even be in the same room with my friend's dog, who I absolutly adore and thus play with anyways), but thankfully my dog's hair doesn't bother me at all. If it did, I'd just have to live with it, because nothing could convince me to part with my puppy.


On another note, thanks for filling me in Falathrim ^.^
I'll check out the RP, and I'll definitley be doing the Silmarillion reading thing...though my book is in my locker for the weekend. (Grrr...)
