"...I'm going to be walking around town to look for survivors..." he said, exiting the bridge.

Dojime followed Gil down the hall. "We should take a few squads down with us and fan out."
Cai followed. "Are we going to walk our take suits? ether way my drones and I will help in the search."

"Dojime, Cai, go down through the financial district and capital ruins...I'll go through the residential district."

"Oh come on!!" Demi groaned, glaring at the doctor. "It's just a couple of broken ribs! They barely even hurt!!"
"Yes, but seeing how you didn't get yourself treated right away their in a bad condintion. You can't fly until they heal." The doctor said with a glare.
"I've been flying with them broken!!"
"Yeah? And if they suddenly start to hurt wile you fly and end up screwing up your entire mission??"
"...Fiiiine... I'll relax until they heal... Dickwad..."
"What was that?"
"Nothing..."

Gil walked off before heading to the residential district...Which had been hit quite hard by the attack. Small fires were still burning in fact.
He walked around, trying to find anyone.
He then came across a group of children. When they saw him, they became terrified that maybe he was one of the people in the big robots destroying their home and ran.
Gil just watched them leave with a frown on his face.

"It helps to talk ya know." Demi said with a groan, walking up from behind Gil. "Let them know you're not here to hurt them or anything." She sighed before walking over to an alley she saw some of the children running over to hide in.
"Heeeey.. it's ok.. We're on your side here." She said with a closed eye smile as the children scurried off further into the dead-end alley. "The real bad guys are gone now, promise."
"Yeah, and if it wasn't for you guys we wouldn't have been attacked!" One small voice snapped.
"............Touche'........"

Gil's ear twitched at the voice that responded to Demi.
He walked over, clearing his throat.
"Harold, what did I tell you about talking back to women AND authority figures..?"
Apparently Gil knew the kid when he was living here.

He then pointed to the two next to him.
"Jim White and Ron Redfield...Don't know the other three though...Expanded your little gang while I was away, huh?" Gil asked, raising an eyebrow.

"See! You guys should know better than think of someone like Gil being scary! He's on your side, and we're with him, so that puts us on your side." Demi said, looking back at the kids.
