Adele nodded, but the kind of hurt she knew she'd get Rue could do nothing about. She hadn't ever wanted to face Marius after that.

"LEts' just get some sleep okay?" Rue said, his hand resting lightly on his chest. He could feel that she was hurting already.

Adele nodded and slowly stood. She went over to the bed and layed down, patting the spot next to her. "Here," she said. "Lay here."

"...But," Rue was going to protest but he moved and lay down anyway. His body moving on its own is pretty scary.

"So you respond like that to orders," Adele noted, seeming to have just noticed. "Sorry..." She rolled onto her side, facing away from Rue. She pulled up the covers over her.

"N-No, it's nothing you should be sorry for..." Rue said.

"Yes it is," Adele said, still turned away. "I know how it feels to follow orders, some of which you don't want to. I never got an apology, so I gave one to you."

"You're not supposed to apologize to me...I'm just a summon..." Rue said unconsciously.

Adele turned around swiftly and hit him upside the head as best as she could. "Shut up!" she cried. "You're a person!"

Rue didn't dodge her hit. He looked down, "I-I'm sorry..."

Adele gasped when she realized what she'd done. "I-I'm so sorry, Rue!" she cried, looking horrified.

"No, it's alright," Rue said and quickly got up.

"Please sit down again...." Adele begged.

Rue sat down without thinking. He silently looked at his knees, eyes wide. He suddenly realized that she had a lot more control over him than he thought.

"Was that an order too....?" Adele asked, almost sounding hurt.
