The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was such a great movie! I'm already looking forward to the next film of the series. And I heard that there's already plans for Clockwork Angel of The Infernal Devices series to be made into a film. So, that will be exciting.

It sucks that I wasn't able to get one of the Isabelle dresses (either in white or black) while it was available. 'Cause after seeing Isabelle wear it in the movie, I totally want one. *sighs* Maybe I'll make my own version instead.

In other news, I heard back from Target sooner than expected. Unfortunately, they don't have a job position to offer to me. *sighs* So, now I'm back on the drawing board.

Hopefully the job opportunity at the shelter comes through and I can apply for that one. I have a feeling I'll have a better chance there at getting a position due to the staff already being familiar with my work ethic and personality. Not to mention, I would be doing something I already do as a volunteer basically. So, essentially it would be like a minor promotion.

*listens to preview of Lady Gaga's new album ARTPOP* Gaga... I don't know if I like this album. I probably would have to listen to the full album before I make a complete decision... but I have to say there's not that many songs that capture my interest to hear more of. You still have your unique style, I'll give that to you... but I don't know... something about this album isn't capturing my interest as much as your other two.

I'll be spending today to catch up on the shows I wasn't able to get to earlier. I was too tired last night to stay up and watch anything after coming home from my evening with Dad.

They tell you why? I'd ask for specific reasons and ways to improve/things to work on for next time. Be forceful asking those questions to! Get a real answer not just "someone with more experience got the job" answers.



Thank you for the suggestion, Melissa, but if I could, I would've already done that myself. Unfortunately, in most of the cases with the jobs I've applied for, they send you a message basically saying "sorry, you're not hired" and it's one you can't reply to.

I don't think she realizes how much harder it is for me to get a job with what I have on my resume in comparison to what I know what she has on hers.

And honestly, I'm sure their reasons are the same as what I've come to discover through the various other interviews I've had:

- I don't have the right experience to crossover into the field
- I don't have enough experience to fulfill the requirements
- I am not as outgoing as they would like me to be (in regards to cusomter service oriented positions)

Honestly, it was a lucky shot that I even got an interview considering how many people seemed to have applied for the position. They were doing a mass hire. It really was a luck of the draw on whether I was accepted or not for a position there at Target.

It really annoys me when people talk to me like that after I mention I was denied a job after applying or having an interview. Here I am trying to do something adult-oriented and I always receive responses that treat me like I'm still a child. Ugh!

I just want to get a job already, so I can feel like I've actually accomplished something and haven't failed once again at something. I don't like the feeling I get that I'm not doing something right. Especially at this point in my life.

I'm off to eat lunch. I'm having my leftover Barbeque Pork Mac dinner from Noodles & Company. It's pretty good.

Once I get back, I'll start watching the remaining shows I need to catch up on.
