I was wondering when you were going to come on and say that, Kaethe. And then I knew I'd have to explain that I only know a few common phrases in German... German is tied for third on the list of languages I want to learn.
1.) Japanese: a good business move, as well as increasing my options for pirating. However, I'm not looking forward to learning 3 of the four separate alphabets, Hiragana, Hatakana, and Kanji. (Romaji, the fourth one, is basically the phonetic spellings of Japanese words in the Latin alphabet, or the one you're reading.) 2.) Russian: Because, like I said before, anything you say in Russian sounds freaking bad-a**. I'm not looking forward to having to learn the Cyrillic alphabet. 3.) German: (based on what others have told me) I like the fact that it technically doesn't have an established dynamic level (loudness), so you can pretty much yell everything if you wanted to, and it would be acceptable (please correct me if I'm wrong. That would be a good misconception to get rid of if it is a misconception). 3.) Latin: Because the Latin names for stuff sound awesome. Makes writing fake spells EASY!!! Also good for making awesome sounding names for stuff. Latin is just cool. The words sound cool. Different from Russian in which the words sound bad-a**. Bad-a** is not the same as cool.
*le longest bump, ever*
