 Out in the blistering hot sun, even hooves were on fire. The heat was oppressing, and the dust strewn about by the breeze was suffocating, but that was the least of his worries.
Without a single cloud in the sky up above, the gusting winds came in without warning. With surprising force, the gusts tore at the buck's frame and threatened to pick him up, to carry him away, and never relinquish it's hold. Quickly joining the dust, were the grains of sand, along with most anything else that was unfortunate enough to be out in the dunes at the time. And it wouldn't be long before they overtook the tan buck, burying him alive in the suffocating granules, leaving him forever under the millions of shards, forgotten and lost in a single devastating sandstorm.

Very loyal to all whom he deems worthy, Sandstorm is a rather loving character, typical of the Knightly-sort. He has a soft spot for helping others when they are in need, and will even put himself in danger to save a young one should he think he had a chance to save it.
