Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Unlike how everyone predicted, the package was not a bomb. It was a JACK or Jack-Pack. This particular model's name was written on it's side. It was named Jacob.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY GAVE OF ONE OF THESE!!" James kept squealing, looking like a kid on Christmas morning, prancing around in the hotel as Jacob tilted his head, cooing and beeping curiously.  

[Zahzi]

"Yeah...We're all still going to die if he has it..."

"...Yep..." Naro said, entering the motel.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...We got a JACK?!" Soqed blinked, staring at the floating robot as it turn it's head towards Naro and Soqed.

Jacob blinked at them for a few moments, before the eyes closed and his head bobbed up and down as happy sounding beeps were made.

"I KNOW RIGHT?!" James giggled, rubbing his knuckles together for a few moments. "Isn't it beautiful?"  

[Zahzi]

"...I'm just gonna stay out here with the Locusts...Where it's safe."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Whaaaaat..?" James asked, tilting his head as he pressed his finger to his ear piece. "The JACK bots are friendly! Their made to be like people so teams will bond with them easier, or some nonsense like that. He can't really hurt you anyway, even if he wanted too."  

[Zahzi]

"No, no...It's the fact that YOU'RE in there."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"OH VERY FUNNY!!"

"Well, Jacob should be handy." Soqed said with a closed eye smile as he floated around Naro, tilting his head and poking at his suit.  

[Zahzi]

Naro just stared at it, flipping his visor up so that Jacob could see his face.

Jacob then tilted his head as he stared at Naro's face, before beeping a couple of times and closing his eyes and nodding his head again, most likely his version of a closed eye smile.  

[Zahzi]

"...Yeah I'll just stay out here." Frederick said again, sitting up instead of staying prone.

"Riiiiight..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Eh, Jacob can see you later anyway." James grunted as he started to walk out of the hotel. "I think he's just memorizing appearances right now so he knows who his team mates are now."

"...Neat..." Soqed said with an impressed tone, before following James.  

[Zahzi]

"...Something tells me it's going to be a longer day than I originally thought..." Naro groaned, walking after them.

((Alright free-bird. I gotta get ready for school now. gonk ))

"JACK bots aren't that bad." James scoffed.

Jacob floating above Naro's head, following him.  

[Zahzi]

"The fact that HOFFMAN left this for us makes me think otherwise..."
