"...It still seems wrong to bunch me or Michael in with snakes like Calvin and Sean..."

"Calvin and Sean toy with her often, which makes her distrusting of anyone on the other side of the cage. Rune's constantly stealing her food after throwing away his own, which makes her distrust other experiments. She only trusts me because we've known each other since the beginning of each other's lives."

"So yeah. I'm just someone with no prior transgressions who was in the same boat as her before. GREAT reason to hate me."

"Also take into account your size and stature." Jacob sighed.

"True, yet have I ever raised a hand, or tooth in his case, towards ANY of you kids?"

"Yes. But I never harmed him, did I?"

"Not unless you count smacking him harming.."

"Do you remember what he did?"

"The rest of us were sleeping when this happened, remember?"

"...Then how did you know I did this?"

"Because after you guys got into the fight, everyone woke up. And we saw YOU."

"Yes. But I don't think you understood what had happened."
